DONA ROTTEN vs CERA CONNER VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS IS THE OPENING MATCH AND IT IS SCHEDULE FOR ONE FALL!!! VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first... The lights fade as “I Hope You Suffer” by AFI breaks over the PA system, the entryway illuminated only by white strobes that flash in time to the drum beat. By the time Danny Havoc’s vocal begins, Adrianna Wilde is striding out through the entranceway and down the ramp; her pace is slow, and bouncy as she shakes out her arms and loosens up-her focus on the ring as she leisurely moves. By the time the chorus hits, Adri’s climbed the steps and towards the center of the apron; her lanky form climbing the middle rope, leaning back against the top as she finally leers out the crowd-a sneer on her face as she gestures towards the crowd as she sings along to the chorus. It’s only when she’s satisfied with herself that she’s waving off the fans and allowing herself to roll back over the top rope and onto her feet, where she quickly claims a corner for herself as the music fades out. VALENTINA LOVELACE: Now introducing... YOU MAKE ME VICIOUS The opening line of Vicious by Halestorm plays as the lights all turn red. The first verse continues as a spotlight shines on the stage. The chorus hits and so does Siobhan Mahoney as she steps into her spotlight. She poses at the top of the stage, bending a knee and throwing an arm up so that people can ogle even more of her. She walks down to the ring with the spotlight following her and hears only cheers for herself despite there not being any. The Hot Mess walks up the steps and across the apron posing on the ropes while demanding the referee to open them for her. The referee reluctantly obliges and Siobhan skips to the center of the ring, before pointing to herself and letting everyone know she deserves greatness. The spotlight and her music stop, but Siobhan is still all about herself as she waits for the match to start. VALENTINA LOVELACE:Heading to the ring now… Dona slowly walks toward the ring, her focus squarely in front of her. She tunes out the fans, her mind lingering on the match. A wry grin creeps across her painted face, as she climbs up onto the apron. Dona steps through the ropes, making her way to mid-ring. The Toxic Knockout finally lets her eyes pan across the ringside area, before spitting a thick green mist skyward. Rotten cackles maniacally, and goes to her corner, to await the match's start. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their final opponent… "You Could Be Mine" by Guns N Roses blasts through the PA system and blue and purple lights flash in accordance. Cera Conner steps out from the back, rocking her “FK YOU ASSHOLE” crimson T-shirt, making her way to the ramp and kneeling forward Terminator-style with a flex of her arms for dramatic effect, showing off her guns and arm tassels. VALENTINA LOVELACE: “FRRRRROM A POST APOCALYPTIC FUTURRE… CERAAAA CONNER!!! Cera steps down to the ring adjusting her tights and working her legs with a few air kicks, tagging what fans she can, removing her shirt at the steel steps and handing it to a fan in the front row before wiping her boots on the apron, ducking into the ring and slowing to a stop with a spinning hop, gesturing a finger-pistol to the camera and firing as she says "HASTA LA VISTA, BABY". VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... AND THE NEW #1 CONTENDER TO THE NVR WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP… CERA CONNER!!! Adrianna leaps onto Cera at 3.1, but it’s too late. Wilde is blasting Conner with lefts and rights from a back mount, but Jeff the Ref has to tell her that the match is over and that she didn’t break the pin up. Wilde fights with the ref over it, but Mo Mooney, the de facto manager of STRONGHOLD, comes out and tells Adri it’s okay because he has a plan. Adrianna looks PISSED but leaves with Tapp’s Money Man anyways. Cera Conner takes this moment to enjoy her huge win as a debutante here in NVR. Siobhan and Dona can be seen talking shit to each other in the ring as The Terminator soaks in her moment. WARHEAD WILLIAMS: WHAT A DEBUT BY CERA CONNER HERE!!! GEMMA MARCHAND: YOU REALLY COULDN’T HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER WAY TO START THE NIGHT!!! K.T. ANDERSON: Has anyone seen my wallet??? |

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS MATCH IS A TAG TEAM MATCH SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!! VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first... Money by Cardi B begins to play and The RicHoez come out from backstage. They stand at the top of the ramp and turn around with their arms extended out. They then make their way down the ramp laughing at and making fun of the audience members in the front row. Once at the ring, they roll under the bottom rope and twerk in the ring as their music fades out. VALENTINA LOVELACE: Their opponents, introducing first... The intro to "Don't Stop" by 5 Seconds of Summer begins to play as the studio lights go down and the spotlights point to the stage area. Within a few seconds, Bree Smith struts out from behind the correct and she does a few signatures poses on the stage. As Luke Hemmings and the rest of 5SoS yell out the chorus, Bree kicks it into high gear, jogging down the ramp, high-fiving as many fans as she can as she goes down to and around the ring. Once she's made it all the way around the ring once, she rolls into it and flexes. Everyone cheers for the Breehemoth as she backs into the corner. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And her tag team partner… The lights in the arena go dark as Valhalla" by Blind Guardian begins to play. A massive figure walks through the curtain to a chorus of boos. On the screen, The Australian Behemoth flashes quickly followed by the rune of the god Odin. The lights slowly fade in as Dana Alans is revealed and her name appears on the screen in dripping blood. Dana sneers at the crowd while she stomps her way to the ring. When she reaches the apron she grasps the top rope and pulls herself into the ring. Dana gives a wry smile as she draws a line in the sand and does a massive stomp in the middle inviting her opponent to battle. She lets out a war cry as her music fades. VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL… BREE SMITH AND DANA ALANS… BAEHEMOTHS!!! Dana and Bree pop up to their feet and celebrate in the ring to an arena full of applause. They talk a bit more trash to The Doplegang, before bowing to the Japanese crowd to show their appreciation for the warm welcome. Jamie-Lynn and Lyndsy-James roll out of the ring and curse EVERYONE out. They tell Baehemoths to watch their backs, but Dana and Bree aren’t paying any mind as they continue to celebrate. K.T. ANDERSON: BREE AND DANA CHEATED!!! NO TAG ROPE USAGE? ILLEGAL DOUBLE TEAMS? NO RESPECT FOR TAG TEAM WRESTLING!!! GEMMA MARCHAND: SHUT UP, K.T.!!! Baehemoths won fair and square and they looked amazing in their tag team debut! WARHEAD WILLIAMS: Couldn’t agree more Gemma! I’m excited to see more of them in the coming months! |

EARLIER TODAY...
Backstage we see Teddy JS dressed up in a nice suit and has microphone in his hand labeled "TJS 4 NEWS" on it. He's just outside of the catering area as he pulls aside Cam the Camera Man and Mike the Mic Guy and starts talking to them.
TJS: Hey guys, I really appreciate you helping me with this. With Gemma joining the commentary booth, the amount of interviews have gone down, and I'm going to fix that! So all you guys have to do is be my very own new crew, follow me wherever news and interviews might be, and help me capture stuff. Cool?
Cam and Mike just kind of shrug, because they really don't have anything better to do.
TJS: Cool! Let's do a test run!
Cam and mike get in position, as Teddy does some minor vocal exercises before getting the 5... 4... 3... 2...
CAM ROLLINS: And we're live!
TJS: Can you guys hear me okay?
MIKE STANLEY: Sounds perfect on our end! Let's hear your intro!
Teddy looks down for a second and motions for another countdown as he collects himself.
TJS: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! WELCOME TO TJS 4 NEWS!!! YOUR NUMBER-ONE NEWS SOURCE FOR ALL THINGS NVR WRESTLING-
At this moment, Kai Urigawa walks through the shot. Teddy's eyes get wide as he realizes this could be his first interview!!!
TJS: KAI!!! WAIT!!!
Kai reluctantly stops as he turns to Teddy. TJS points at the camera, to get Kai to turn toward Cam instead.
TJS: Kai, how does it feel being the very first person I get to interview???
Kai continues just staring at Teddy, as Teddy tries putting the microphone in Kai's face to get him to answer. Kai stays silent though, and Teddy scrambles.
TJS: Do you have any strategies you'd like to share with us before your big six-man match???
Kai still just stares in reluctance.
TJS: You know Kai, I like you. I feel like we get each other. If you're ever looking for a side hustle, TJS 4 News has a position open for Co-Anchor/Co-Field reporter if you're interested!!!
Kai just glares. Suddenly, Reo Ojima walks into the frame. Ojima and Urigawa stare at each other for a moment. Teddy pops up between both of them and looks at Reo.
TJS: REO OJIMA!!! Do you want to be my second interview of the night?
Reo ignores him and continues to stare at Kai.
TJS: Reo, have you recovered from me and Kai beating you up earlier this year? Do you plan to be in Naoki's corner later tonight? DO YOU WANT TO BETHE SPORT REPORTER FOR TJS 4 NEWS??? WE HAVE A SPOT AVAILABLE!!! I'M WILLING TO LOOK PAST OUR DIFFERENCES IF YOU ARE!!!
Reo looks at Teddy for two seconds and scoffs. Ojima hands Kai a letter and then leaves without saying a word. Teddy looks at Kai, and Kai looks at the envelope.
TJS: WHAT DOES IT SAY KAI??? THE PEOPLE AT HOME ARE WATCHING ANXIOUSLY!!!
Kai pockets the envelope, looks at Teddy, and then leaves. TJS is now left alone with Cam and Mike and looks at them with a smile.
TJS: I think that went pretty well!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS NEXT MATCH IS A SCRAMBLE MATCH!!! VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first... As the lights in the arena begin to dim, "Afraid of Us” by Jonwayne plays through the speaker. Noah Ortega slowly emerges from the curtain, staring out at the crowd. Stopping on the top of the entrance ramp, Ortega pauses for a moment as he bows his head. Suddenly, he stretches one arm up, pointing to the ceiling and screaming “FOLLOW ME”. From there he begins to walk down the entrance ramp, all cool, calm and collected. Once reaching the edge of the ring, Ortega leaps onto the apron and pauses for a moment, observing the reaction from the audience before entering the ring. Hoisting himself onto the top rope, Noah points his finger up again and yells “FOLLOW ME”. VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing next... "Call Me" kicks off, filling the room with the kicking guitars before the lyrics serenade the room and the detestable Callie Buchanan walks out and stands on the stage, looking over the people she claims as her masses booing her. She flusters the end of her long coat and walked down to the ring, not even looking at or interacting with the fans. Choosing instead to trash-talk her opponent. When the bratty Brit gets into the ring, she poses with her arms outstretched and slides her coat off, getting into her corner. VALENTINA LOVELACE: Heading to the ring... All of the lights go out in the arena, as the opening sirens of “Twisted” by Missio begin to play. Singular lights flash to the sound of the music as a lone spotlight points down on the stage. Suddenly we see a man repel down from the ceiling from the light, and land on the stage. EVERYBODY IN THE WORLD KNOWS

I'M A LITTLE TWISTED!!! The lights all shoot on as we see Liam Vaughn standing on the stage. He saunters down to the ring, calm and uninterested in the fans around him. He takes his time until the chorus strikes up again, and he begins to run towards the hard-cam side of the ring, sliding across the ring apron and spinning himself through the ropes. Just as fast as his burst of energy came, it went away and he nonchalantly stumbles backward into a corner as he waits for the match to start. VALENTINA LOVELACE: The next competitor... The opening of Mad Hatter begins to play, as lights flash to the tune of the little bells, but then the lights all change to a scarlet color as the verse first hits and Dani Davies steps out. She starts to walk down to the ring, singing the lyrics to the song as she stays away from the fans at the ringside. The normals, they make me afraid
The crazies, make me feel sane Dani walks towards the camera, reciting these words as she hops onto the apron and poses. She looks around at the crowd with a bit of disgust, as she spins into the ring and poses one more time, still singing the words to the song as the music. VALENTINA LOVELACE: Now introducing… "Immigrant Song" by Led Zepplin plays, as the lights change different colors of green, gold, and brown. The music changes go into the first verse and out comes the 100 million-year-old rookie, RaptoЯ steps out from behind the curtain. He takes his first small step for Dinos and his one giant leap for Dino-kind! With that, he stomps out to the ring and raises his hands in self-hype as the fans cheer for him as well. One big step over the top rope, and he's in the center of the ring screaming "We're Back" before posing in the ring and letting his music die. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And finally… “Not Once, Not Ever, No Way” "I WON'T GO DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT! I WON'T GO DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT!"
The music kicks through the PA as Kai steps through the curtain. He’s all smiles, but it’s just the calm before the storm. He pulls his mouthguard from his vest pocket and puts it in. The switch is flipped and Kai steps down the aisle quickly to the ring. VALENTINA LOVELACE: "Coming down the aisle: From Jacksonville, FL; he weighs in 177 lbs, Kai URIGAAAAWAAAAA!!!" Kai hops up onto the apron hard cam side, looks over his shoulder at his opponent, and enters the ring. Urigawa takes off his vest and falls into the corner, doing some last-minute stretching. VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... DANI DAVIES!!! Dani gets her hand raised, but she gives very little time to the fans who were applauding her. Davies talks about how she’s not waiting for opportunities anymore and she’s going to be taking them real soon. The fans give good attention to Ortega, Vaughn, and Buchanan, having really impressed them in this outing, and Kai and RaptoЯ get pretty big applauses for their hard work as well. GEMMA MARCHAND: Dani Davies walks out of Tagajo with a ton of momentum. K.T. ANDERSON: God, we need more of these cluster fuck scrambles. I LOVE THE CHAOS!!! WARHEAD WILLIAMS: We all know I’m a big fan of Ms. Davies, but credit where it’s due, all of these wrestlers put on a show here tonight! |

DURING THE BREAK...
We cut backstage to Gavin Grimes in his backstage attire, as he wasn’t booked for competition tonight. He paced a bit back and forth before he started to speak as if he was talking to himself at first.
GAVIN GRIMES: “You’ve heard the whispers. ‘You ain’t got it!’ ‘You’re washed!’ You’re livin’ off of your former glory.’ Blah, blah, fuckin’ blah!”
He shook his head.
GAVIN GRIMES: “But nah, I get it. I underestimated NVR and its roster. I thought I would come in here and sweep through everyone like I always do. But fuck it. I ain’t doing that no more. I ain’t being cocky. Nah, I’m going to focus and I ain’t done by a long shot. Bet on that. Bet on Grimes.
The scene cuts away.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS IS A TAG TEAM MATCH!!! VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first... IF ONE MORE PERSON TRY TO STOP ME
THERE'S GON' BE SOME POOR LIFE CHOICES IN YA LOBBY "No Problem" by Chance the Rapper plays loudly as the crowd looks on in excitement and cheers as Izzy Van Doren and Karen Willow walk out, pausing on top of the ramp. Izzy rips open her vest, throws her head back, and poses at the top of the ramp. They smile and smirk with the fans chanting "PLC!!! PLC!!! PLC!!!". Looking out into the crowd, they begin making their way down, Karen’s hands resting atop her hips. Upon reaching the threshold where the ramp meets the ring mat, Izzy bites her lip, winks at the camera, and slides into the ring. She pops up to her feet and heads to the hard cam side of the ring. Karen makes her way around the ring, slapping hands with several outstretched hands before sliding into the ring, keeping the momentum going by rolling up to her knees. Popping to her feet, Karen runs to the nearest turnbuckle and leaps onto the second rope, screaming out into the sea of fans. Izzy slides her torso in between the top and middle rope. IVD smiles and throws her arms open forming the horns with her hands. Karen unhooks the title before raising it proudly into the air, drawing another chorus of cheers from the fans as the music slowly fades out. Both women drop down to their corner and their eyes widen and their smiles look a little crazed. They pull back and look on at their opponent, eager to get down. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponents... "I Wish" by Cher Lloyd feat T.I. hits the speakers, and a few seconds later Jessica Anderson and Natalie Kassidy emerge from the curtain. They stand with their feet roughly at shoulders width apart and raise their right index fingers into the air. At the top of her lungs, Jessica screams out aggressively to let everyone know just how good she and Natalie are. Natalie nods, and barks that nobody could stand up to them. After a moment of yelling at the fans, the women begin to make their way down the ramp. They start walking with a skip in their step and a scowl on their faces. They look around the venue disapprovingly, still talking about how they’re better than everyone else. Jessica quickly leaps up onto the ring apron, before straddling the middle rope. Natalie rolls into the ring, poses behind Jess, and they both wink at the camera. Nat gives Jess’ backside a slight spank, and then Jessica pulls the rest of her form into the ring. From here, they both back into their corner ready for the match to start. VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... IZZY VAN DOR- Natalie Kassidy throws an elbow into the back of IVD’s head as she grabs Jessica by the leg and drags her out of the ring to safety. Karen slides into the ring and tries to hit Nat, but Natalie gets out too quickly. Jess leans on Natalie, still not 100% what just hit her, but both members of WCTT say it’s not over. PLC says that they’re here whenever they want to fight, but WCTT continues to go up the ramp spewing insults at the victors. K.T. ANDERSON: A FUCKING SCREW JOB!!! A TRAVESTY!!! THIS COULD NEVER BE OVER LIKE THAT!!! HAS ANYBODY SEEN MY WALLET??? WARHEAD WILLIAMS: Poor Life Choices reunite and win all in the same night! What a match between all of these phenomenal wrestlers!!! GEMMA MARCHAND: PLC has gotta be in the tag title conversation now, even if this was a one-ff for the two! |

BACKSTAGE...
The scene cuts backstage as Naoki Ojima is shown backstage jumping from side to side from his toes. Warming his body up for the upcoming match. Dressed in his wrestling gear, Naoki has a huge smile on his face as he looks at the camera and starts to address the camera in his native Japanese. Thankfully for the viewers at home, there are English subtitles below the screen.
NAOKI OJIMA: Hello NVR Universe! It is I! Naoki Ojima! The Emerald Tiger!”
Naoki stops jumping around and puts his jacket on before addressing the camera again.
NAOKI OJIMA: I know I have one heck of an obstacle in front of me tonight with JD Driftwood. A man almost twice my size and weight who literally enjoys hurting people. He’s made his intentions known that he doesn’t care about me and thinks very little about what I’ve done. He’s going to hurt me and I’m going to feel it tomorrow. But I’m used to pain. I felt pain in my matches with promotions like Yamashi, Skull Kids Wrestling, LSW, and here in NVR. Even training with my old man is painful. Reo Onima never holds back, even against his own son. So I’m used to pain. But I can’t help but have a smile on my face as I wrestle not only in front of the NVR universe but in front of my country. I get to prove that I’m worthy of being in the same ring as JD. I’m going to prove that I deserve an opportunity to fight for that title. And I can promise you right now JD….win, lose, or draw…..I will get your respect.
Naoki pauses as he combs his hand through his hair, looking for the words to finish up his promo.
NAOKI OJIMA: And I know the Goldenweight title is on the line, and it would be nice to have a title in my possession once again, but to tell you the truth….I’d rather get your respect than win the belt, JD. So give me your all tonight, because you know I will!
Naoki is about to walk away but stops as Reo Ojima steps in front of Naoki.
REO OJIMA: Don’t fuck up tonight, boy.
Reo is about to pat Naoki on the shoulder but stops and instead messes his hair up and walks off. Naoki has a mixed expression on his face as he watches his father walk away.
IN RING...
Classic Man Remix by Jidenna (feat. Kendrick Lamar) hits the PA system, and the lights fade to a red color. At the top of the stage, sparkler pyres go off and as the chorus hits, they shoot off white, as red confetti shoots into the air, and outcomes Tapson Peace&Love.
K.T. ANDERSON: AND TO WHAT DO WE OWE SUCH AN HONOR???
GEMMA MARCHAND: Oh boy...
WARHEAD WILLIAMS: I'm really confused as to why these two are out right now.
The REALEST Wrestler walks down the ramp with his manager, Mo Mooney, carrying his American Thunder Dome trophy. Tapp and Mo ignore the fans as they head to ringside. Tapp slides over the barricade, choosing a specific spot at the front row, as Mo Mooney finds a chair under the ring for Tapson, as well as grabs a chair for himself. Mo Mooney sets the chairs up, but before joining his client, Mo walks over to K.T. and they shake hands. Mo leans into K.T.'s ear and whispers something. K.T. grabs a microphone and announces something to everyone.
K.T. ANDERSON: THE WISE AND POWERFUL MR. MO MOONEY AND HIS CLIENT, THE REALEST GRAPMASON: TAPSON PEACE&LOVE, ARE HERE TO SCOUT WHOM WILL LOSE THEIR TITLE TO TAPSON ONCE HE CASHES IN HIS GUARANTEED TITLE MATCH!!!
There is some protest in the crowd, but ultimately they honor Tapp's right to scout his opponents.

NAOKI OJIMA VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS MATCH IS FOR THE NVR GOLDENWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!!! VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first, the challenger... Trumpets blast throughout the arena as TANK by the Seatbelts play. The arena fills with cheers as Naoki Ojima makes his way out. Sporting a Maximum Japan jacket, the rookie waves to the crowd as he quickly makes his way to the ring. Rolling inside Naoki stands in the middle of the ring and raises his right hand in the air as green and white streamers fill the ring. Stepping back Naoki takes his jacket off and tosses it outside. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And now the champion... The intro to "Symbol of Nevermore" by Superjoint as the crowd gets to their feet. After a few moments, JD Driftwood bursts from the curtain. He waves his arms trying to get the fans hyped, pacing across the stage area and screaming "LET'S FUCKING GO". After a couple of minutes of hype, the verse hits, and he starts bouncing off the barricade, trying to mosh with fans as he makes his way to the ring. JD rolls to the center of the ring pop to his feet throw a middle finger in the air as the fans yell out with him “J F’N D”!!! VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA SUBMISSION... AND NEW NVR GOLDENWEIGHT CHAMPION… NAOKI OJIMA!!! Naoki can’t believe it, he won his first title in NVR. He holds the title graciously as Jeff the Ref hands it to him. Naoki holds the title up and celebrates with his home crowd when suddenly we hear… TJS 4 NEWS TJS, Cam Rollins, and Mike Stanley all run down to the ring. Teddy fixes his blazer and gets into the picture with Naoki. Teddy smiles at Naoki, and Naoki bows back. TJS: Teddy JS with TJS 4 News here. Naoki, you just won the Goldenweight Championship! HOW DO YOU FEEL??? Before Naoki can even say a word, the intro to Jaden Smith's smash hit "Icon" reverberates through the speakers as the crowd comes alive. Immediately the ring is crowded with the members of STRONGHOLD. Adrianna Wilde, Freddie Florentino, and Donnie Prower take three of the four sides in the ring. Teddy turns around, but Cam and Mike are gone. Stronghold points to Tapson, seeing if that’s who he wants, but Tapp shakes his head no and says “HE’S ALL YOURS ADRI!!!” That’s all Wilde needed to hear as she slips through the ropes and charged at Naoki, lighting him up with strikes. TJS goes from interviewer to savior as he tries to help Naoki out, but Freddie and Donnie quickly stomp on them. The three of them begin to put the boots on Naoki and TJS, but then we start to hear the calm strings pipe through the PA as the tron/screens slowly reveal an ONI logo. Finally, the beat kicks in, and out of the black curtain comes Kai Urigawa and Reo Ojima come charging down to the ring. ONI clears the ring as STRONGHOLD all move behind the barricade. Reo and Kai call them back, but only Adrianna calls back, saying she’s going to take the title from Naoki. Cam and Mike return to the ring and try to help Teddy get the exclusive interviews with the newly reformed ONI, but they all mostly ignore him, and Teddy accepts that. GEMMA MARCHAND: That was a lot to unpack, but Naoki won a title, Teddy stole my job, Adrianna Wilde has set her sights on a new division, and ONI has reformed all in the span of like 5 minutes!!! WARHEAD WILLIAMS: I’m glad that Naoki was able to take his moment back. Hopefully, he is able to enjoy it on his own in the back later tonight. K.T. ANDERSON: WHAT THE FUCK IS EVEN GOING ON ANYMORE??? |

BACKSTAGE...
On the screen, Diego Matias pops up as he is ready to go to war with Anthony Cross. It's been nearly two years since they last fought each other, but Diego never forgot the title Enforcer stole from him. You can see that pride and fire in his eyes as he paces.
DIEGO MATIAS: I haven't forgotten you, Cross.
He points at the camera as he continues to pace. After a short pause, he stops right in front of the camera and looks into it.
DIEGO MATIAS: I was going through something. I was literally fighting myself, and you had the audacity to take advantage of me when I was at my lowest. You cashed in that briefcase and stole a championship that I had literally saved before I could even get a chance to actually enjoy it.
Diego balls his fist.
DIEGO MATIAS: So here we are for the R!ZE Championship, and you know what? Its time. It's time for Diego to get some gold in NVR again. I have battled to get over my own demons and to get back to where I can challenge for a title again. I have scrambled and struggled for a year and a half. It is what it is. Last year was the year of Corazon Negro, but 2022 has been the year of Diego Matias, and I will finalize this year's growth by becoming R!ZE Champion, and getting the retribution I have been waiting a long time for!!!
The lights flash for a moment, and now instead of Diego, we have Corzaon Negro standing in front of the camera.

LENA’S BACK!!! “Like This” by Kelly Rowland ft. Eve begins to play as Lena Galante steps out. She walks up to a giant spotlight in the center of the stage and swings her hips before posing. Spice walks down to the ring, ignoring the fans along the way. Lena gets to the ringside and slides across the apron, before springing up and spinning herself through the ropes. She struts to the center of the ring and poses as she waits for her music to stop. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And now, the champion... VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL… AND STILL NVR WOMEN’S CHAMPION… BREA LOMBARDI!!! Lombardi sits in the center of the ring, exhausted from the battle she just experienced. She asks Steph the Ref for help, and the junior referee obliges, raising her hand in the process. Brea is handed her championship and she raises it high. Galante starts to get to her feet and Brea tries to show her some respect, but Spice just pops up and gets in her face. They stare at each other for a moment, clearly, no love lost between the two, before Lena bails to go back home. Brea goes to celebrate in the ring when suddenly the lights go off and lightning strikes the ring. The lights come bacon and in the center of the ring, Cera Conner is there in a kneeling position. The Terminator rises and points at Brea’s championship and Brea raises it high to some loud clapping. WARHEAD WILLIAMS: FROM ONE INTENSE COMPETITOR TO THE NEXT!!! BREA LOMBARDI IS EARNING HER STRIPES AS CHAMPION HERE!!! GEMMA MARCHAND: Lena Galante continues to impress despite coming up short against the champion! Spice absolutely has NVR Gold in her future!!! “Enforcer” Anthony Cross is in his locker room at the Tagajo City Cultural Center. A television is on and Anthony is watching his previous match with Diego Matias
ANTHONY CROSS: Mhm look at this, everybody. Who else remembers this? Back on February 28, 2021 I beat the ever loving shit out of Diego in a mere 127 seconds. That just isn’t a win but an outright domination because obviously I am a better wrestler but also because I needed the NVR San Francisco Openweight Champion. A championship that I dominated as champion so much that Caleb Jackson himself felt the need to rename the championship to the Golden Weight Championship because nobody could follow me as the San Francisco Openweight Champion. And I am going to do the same as the R!ZE Champion. Don’t believe me just ask Darby Macnamara, Jimmy Primrose, and Owen Gonsalves.
Anthony smiles as he shuts off the television and picks up the R!ZE Championship belt.
ANTHONY CROSS: You actually think you are going to redeem yourself by taking this belt from me, Diego? I have my eyes on becoming the greatest R!ZE Champion of all time. Greater than Izzy Van Doren, Lash Donohue, Darby Macnamara, and even Sean Isaac Leonard Kennedy. Hell, I may even decide to do what no other previous champion has done and hold the R!ZE title for two hundred days. Once I do that I am going to cash in this belt for a shot at Nevada Brooks because it is time for me to be atop the NVR world.

DIEGO MATIAS VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS MATCH IS FOR THE NVR R!ZE CHAMPIONSHIP, AND IT IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!! VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first... #1 by Nelly plays as the colors of the Mexican flag strobe all over the arena as Diego comes out of the curtains. He does a prayer to his mentor, and waves hello at the camera to his sister Daya. Diego starts to walk down to the ring and hi-fives as many fans as he can before he slides to the ring and gives a shout-out to the man upstairs before he warms up for his opponent and acknowledges the crowd. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And the champion... Natural Born Killaz By Ice Cube and Dr. Dre starts playing throughout the arena. Smoke comes from the entranceway. As the smoke is clearing The Enforcer walks through the smoke and looks out at the crowd. Enforcer then walks down to the ring. He walks up the stairs onto the ring apron, looks out at the crowd, and lifts his arms out to the side. Enforcer steps through the top and middle ropes. Enforcer walks over to the opposite ring ropes and lifts his arms out to his side. Jeff the Ref signals for the bell, but before the bell could ring, Enforcer comes running at his challenger, squashing him in the corner and then throwing him to the outside. Cross slides outside with Diego, and Matias tries to land some punches, but Anthony catches one hand and delivers a vicious overhand punch to the forehead. Locking in a single-underhook, Enforcer starts drilling elbows into the neck. As Matias starts to buckle, Anthony Cross whips Diego as hard as he can into the barricade AND DIEGO ENDS UP FLIPPING INTO THE FRONT ROW!! The fans in the front row try to help Diego back to his feet, BUT ENFORCER LEAPS OVER THE BARRICADE FOR A SPEAR!!! The R!ZE Champion is just abusing his opponent as Security and medical officials start to rush down and separate the two. Enforcer leaves ringside, enters the ring and demands the match gets thrown out. Senior Official Jeff Coors is just about to cancel the match when a commotion comes from the crowd! DIEGO IS FIGHTING THE EMTS!!! He makes his way over the barricade, tripping from early exhaustion, and ends up back in the ring. Jeff the Ref checks to make sure Diego still wants to fight, AND HE DOES!!! Finally, the match can start. VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... AND NEW NVR R!ZE CHAMPION… DIEGO MATIAS!!! Diego scrambles to his feet as he heads to the corner and throws a fist up in the air. After struggling for so long, he finally has gold again in NVR. Diego comes back to the center of the ring to get his hand raised and to be presented with his new championship. At ringside, Tapp and Mo Mooney stand up and start clapping, catching the eye of Diego. Matias raises his championship as a challenge to Tapson Peace&Love, but Tapp and Mo just laugh and sit back down. Diego shrugs and continues to celebrate his moment! GEMMA MARCHAND: WHAT A NIGHT OF TITLE CHANGES SO FAR!?! WHO ELSE MIGHT WALK AWAY #ANDNEW TONIGHT?? WARHEAD WILLIAMS: GREAT MATCH AND GREAT QUESTION, GEMMA!!! DURING THE BREAK...
MYOJIN: For a while, I wondered- Just what exactly am I doing here?
The camera fades into the Shining Star and challenger to the NVR World Championship, sitting backstage. They sit, dressed as Alucard from the Castlevania series as their Halloween costume. Though they don't seem to have a rather joyous mood on their face.
MYOJIN: I feel as if while I have quite easily succeeded in just about every promotion that I have stepped in, NVR has been VERY elusive. There has been a lull, a directionless path that I have found myself on that hasn't led to where I want to be. Where I know I can be. BUT a constant obstacle is in my way.
The thoughtful expression on their face somewhat hardens, eyes sharpening.
MYOJIN: Nevada. Brooks. You're the first person that I have ever wrestled within this company, originally for that briefcase of yours. You beat me in a fair fight, I respect that. I, of course, respect you- but that hasn't sat right with me. It has stayed on my mind for a while, and I have a habit of never staying 0-1.
MYOJIN: I'll put it simply: I want your World Championship. Even more importantly, I want to beat you. I wouldn't expect you take that lightly, so I'm coming at you with everything in my arsenal. Be prepared- because I'll be watching for ANY mistake, any moment of hesitation, any opening where I can capitalize.
Finally, the faintest of smiles appear on their face as they stand. Walking past the camera while running their hands through their golden mane of hair.
MYOJIN: See you soon.

ずっと僕らは描いてく They make their way into the ring and climb up to the top turnbuckle where they do another cutthroat motion, sticking out their tongues and rolling their eyes into the back of their heads. all undertaker-like. They drop down and square up to their opponents finishing it off. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And the champions... The intro to Jaden Smith's smash hit "Icon" reverberates through the speakers as the crowd comes alive. The voice of Freddie Florentino can be heard over the first 10 seconds of the intro: FREDDIE FLORENTINO: GRAB YA TAG ROPE AND COUNT TO FUCK! STRONGHOLD IN THE MOTHERFUCKIN HOUSE… CABRÓNS!" The fans chant along with him. Once the song kicks in and the first "whoa" hits, Donnie Prower, with a STRONGHOLD flag in hand, and Freddie Florentino burst out from behind the curtain with Jaden Smith's flow guiding them out. "What you call an icon livin'? Start a record label, MSFTS just did it (Woo) Nylon cover, five minutes, whoa We up too hot in the business (Woo)" Freddie is vibin to the track, pumping his fist for every whoa and woo, while Donnie is already talkin' that shit to the front row, letting them know that they're about to sit in on an exhibition. Both men make their way down to the ring, turning their attention to the match at hand as they scale the turnbuckles. Freddie hunches over, lowering his sunglasses down the bridge of his nose and running his mouth as Donnie does the same while holding the STRONGHOLD flag open for all to see. They hop in the ring and begin to warm up with each other as they await the start of the match. VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... AND STILL NVR TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS… FREDDIE FLORENTINO & DONNIE PROWER!!! Freddie and Donnie clear the ring and celebrate their successful title defense, but they don’t get very long. As TJS and Naoki keep the rest of STRONGHOLD away, Kai Urigawa and Reo Ojima return to the ring and get right into STRONGHOLD’S face. Freddie and Donnie start to jaw off at them, BUT IT TURNS INTO A BRAWL INSTANTLY!!! Security comes rushing down to separate the two teams. WARHEAD WILLIAMS: CHAOS IN THE TAG DIVISION!!! STRONGHOLD WALK AWAY AS CHAMPS, BUT ONI IS HERE TO SET THEM STRAIGHT IT SEEMS!!! GEMMA MARCHAND: I’m just ready for someone to shut those guys up and take their titles from them. K.T. KIRA BROOKS: So here we are again, MYOJIN. Tagajo City Cultural Center is about to blow the roof off for us, can you feel the excitement in the air?
Stepping into the camera frame is the NVR Champion herself, Nevada Brooks, looking stunning in one of her signature hologram gear sets, icy white and silver gleaming with matching kick pads and all. Around her waist is of course her cherished NVR Championship and her hands rest on her hips as she turns this way and that, letting the light gleam from her gear and the gold plate before one hand lifts to brush her fingers over the nameplate engraved NEVADA BROOKS. Her voice stays firm but low and pleasant as she continues to speak.
KIRA BROOKS: The first time we met in an NVR ring, you had some pretty strong feelings about your chances, and I never blamed you for that. I told you how I felt, and how much that special briefcase meant to me. You remember the one, that I defended for damn near a year before it was time to cash in, and I cashed in on the single biggest challenge to be found in NVR. I cashed in on an on-top-of-her-game Izzy Van Doren, and well. Until that point, she’d been my unicorn. Faced but never defeated, and there were quite a few people looking for me to fail again, but this time with everything on the line. Turns out, that time I was ready. I brought her what I promised her, and I wrestled the match of someone better.
Her hands lift then, pulling the dark mass of her curls away from her face and putting them up in a high ponytail with the hair tie that had been resting around her wrist. Her tone takes on a hint of musing, as she finishes this up.
KIRA BROOKS: Things don’t stay static. I grew, I reached the summit. I just defended this…
Her hands, now done with their task and idle for a moment, drop to tap the tips of her fingers on the golden plate of her belt, highlighting her name once more.
KIRA BROOKS: Against none other than Gavin Grimes, and if you don’t know his record and what he’s capable of, I don’t know what to tell you. Again, this was a match that even six months ago, I’d have had doubters over, and yet here I am, and still your NVR Champion. Now I’m on the cusp of defending this championship, this leather, and gold that’s my vindication, something that’s my honor to carry, and it’s against MYOJIN. It would be really easy to say that I’ve got this, that I know how they wrestle, and how they comport themselves in the ring. How I’m Nevada Brooks and Shatter doesn’t discriminate… well, those two particulars are true but the other two are lazy and I’m not. I’m a lot of things, but that’s not one.
She smirks for a second and then smiles. It’s a warm, genuine smile filled with emotion before she sighs and shakes her head, lifting her hand to point a finger toward the camera even as she moves to walk out of the frame and towards the door to leave this area and head out to the ring.
KIRA BROOKS: I’m also not an idiot - of course, MYOJIN is going to want to win this, to become the NVR Champion, to take the top prize in this company. If they didn’t want that, then what’s the point of even wrestling? Of course, they want this. All I have to do is my best to keep it out of their hands and trust me when I say this, I’ve never given less than my best, and my best just keeps improving. I know they’re hungry, I know. There’s plenty to eat at the table, that’s true too. Just not off my plate, and if I have to keep teaching that lesson over and over, well. I’ll do that. See you out there, MYOJIN. Really looking forward to this one.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first, the challenger... ARE YOU READY??? The lights dim down while the catchy, fast-paced rock of RAINBOWS by A9 echoes as a spotlight suddenly appears on a figure on the ramp, with their back turned, and begins kneeling. Once the beat finally kicks in, MYOJIN explodes with energy- wearing a masquerade-style mask over their eyes, and turns around with a confident smile on their face, raising their arms to soak in the positive reaction from everyone around. With their blonde locks hanging over their face. They then whip their head back, flipping their hair out of their face before excitedly running down the ring and performing a cartwheel and a jump, landing on their feet near ringside! They climb up to the apron, grabs a hold of the top rope, and slingshot themselves into the ring. MYOJIN performs a somersault roll, landing on their side with a hand on their hip. The others, took off their mask to reveal their piercing blue eye contacts. They toss it aside nonchalantly before climbing up the top turnbuckle, tilting their head upward as if he’s looking toward the sky- while the lights mimic stars above. They backflip, back onto their feet while taking off their flamboyant coat and moving to their corner. The lights go back to normal as they check their wrist tape. their charismatic smile fading to a more focused expression as they pace back and forth, ready for action. VALENTINA LOVELACE: Now introducing the champion... As En Route To Mayhem by Apocalyptica plays, the music rolls out over the room, from the back emerges Nevada Brooks, determination in her steps as she moves down the ramp towards the ring. She pauses at the ringsteps to look out over the fans in attendance and she throws her hands up in a signal for them, a big smile on her pretty face. She pauses to wipe her boots on the apron before ducking between the ropes, lingering a bit before moving on into the ring, her expression focused and eager as she waits for the match to begin. VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA SUBMISSION... AND STILL NVR WORLD CHAMPION… NEVADA BROOKS!!! Nevada Brooks gets to her knees and bows to Myojin. The two share a moment of mutual respect, as Nevada and Myojin get to their feet and shake hands and bow again. Myojin says that they want a rematch one day, and Nevada says whenever they’re ready. Myojin smiles as they leave the ring. Nevada continues to celebrate her successful defense with the fans as she looks around and raises her title. Suddenly something appears on the titantron.  Brooks looks confused as JULIANNA DIMARIA BLASTS HER FROM BEHIND!!! The NVR World Champion is down as Julianna stomps on her and then drops down to deliver elbows to the back of her head. Julianna walks around the ring, looking at everyone around her jeering her. She grabs the NVR World Championship and gets down by Nevada. She tells Nevada “You don’t get to have nice moments. This should be my world tour. YOU DON’T GET TO FORGET ME.” She starts to whip Nevada with the title belt until she gets bored and then starts to scream at the crowd that they don’t get to forget her. She exits the ring still shouting as the show closes. K.T. ANDERSON: WAIT!!! WE CAN’T END THIS SHOW YET!!! I HAVEN’T FOUND MY WALLET!!! GEMMA MARCHAND: WHAT A NIGHT!!! WE END ON A MAJOR RETURN, BUT TONS OF ACTION AND TWISTS AND TURNS BEFORE THAT AS WELL!!! I CAN’T WAIT UNTIL NEXT MONTH!!! WARHEAD WILLIAMS: I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE WHAT I HAVE SEEN TONIGHT!!! |
