NAME - Samantha Tolson-Anderson
ALIAS - “Pretty Little Murder Machine”
PICBASE - Carol Saraiva
AGE - 27
HOMETOWN - Jefferson City, Missouri
HEIGHT - 5’ 8”
WEIGHT - 158 lbs
WRESTLING STYLE - At heart, Samantha is a technical wrestler first and foremost, and has been well-trained in that aspect of the sport. Her strength allows her to do moves that a lot of women cannot, and her time training in both Japan and Mexico serves to add some Puroresu and Lucha elements to her repertoire to keep an opponent off-balance. Samantha also has a bit of a penchant for competing in hardcore matches, and is as much at home blasting someone with a weapon as she is executing a suplex. An entertainer as well, she feeds off the crowd and uses that energy to get the job done.
ALIGNMENT (Face or Heel) - Face
BIOGRAPHY -
Samantha Tolson-Anderson is what she appears to be. Sometimes socially aloof, sometimes a bit of a party girl, and even sometimes a bit of a tease, but there are two very different sides to her. She is all of those things and maybe more when not focused on her work, but when it’s time to work, she’s as serious as a heart attack. She takes her career, and the work it takes to maintain it, extremely seriously, as she does her other ventures of LFL football and part-time acting and modeling. Despite what trolls and haters may say about her on social media, there are very much two sides to the young woman, and those who have ventured into the ring with her realize that very quickly.
A born and bred mid-Missouri girl, Samantha got into wrestling after attending a show on the 4th of July at Faurot Field on the campus of the University of Missouri during her days as a student there. Fascinated by the athleticism and showmanship, and needing an outlet for her athletic abilities, she contacted the man that would become her mentor, “Nightbringer” Ryan Corey, a few days later, enrolling in his Camp Nightfall training facility.
Samantha is the first, and so far only, female graduate of Camp Nightfall, and arguably its most successful product to date, but the path for her to graduate was a long two-year slog through completely changing both her body and the way she used her athleticism. She didn’t immediately take to the machinations of professional wrestling easily, but with hard work, persistence, and bulldog-like determination eventually she finished her training and set out on her own.
That brings us to the current day, where after around four or so years in the sport, Samantha has become a highly decorated champion on a number of occasions, the proverbial redneck girl made good. There have been bumps along the way, and a lot of personal reflection, growth, and introspection from time to time, but the woman of today has come from the girl that first entered the sport. With her wife, Katie Anderson-Tolson, she has found the emotional stability and life partner that she once so desperately sought, and the purchase of a full home in Las Vegas both helping to provide her the firm foundation mentally that she lacked early in her career.
Now a more focused person, one that it could be said has become as much a brand as a persona, Samantha looks to continue to add to her already lengthy and growing list of accolades across the world in multiple companies. But why? Why push herself so hard, continue soldiering on through exhaustion and even sometimes injury?
That’s a secret that only a precious few know, and those that do refuse to divulge the information.
ENTRANCE MUSIC - “The Soldier” by Lacey Sturm
ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION -
The medium-speed base line of Lacey Sturm's "The Soldier" reverberate through the arena for a bit before the lyrics kick in...
"You've drawn your line in the sand...
So I'm crossing over again...
You brag that you're a grenade...
So I pull your pin and I wait...
The time will come...
When your power...is gone...
Yeah I might die today...
But I'm gonna die anyway!"
The paces of the music picks up, and just before the chorus begins, Samantha Tolson-Anderson steps onto the stage, singing along with the chorus.
"I'm gonna stand my ground...
Even if they back down...
'Cause I don't care what you say anymore...
So what? You raise your voice?
I'm screaming back my choice...
'Cause I sure ain't scared of you anymore!"
Samantha makes her way down the aisle as the crowd roars. She touches as many outstretched hands as she can, stopping to touch foreheads with a young girl in one of her 'Bombs Away'/’Kiss of Death’ shirts. She then makes her way around the guardrail at ringside before climbing into the ring and climbing each turnbuckle, holding up her arms to a huge roar each time.
