This Award is given to the wrestler that worked extra hard to create a name for themselves, even after their debut year. This may not necessarily mean they had a title reign or won a specialty match/tournament, but that they were able to earn a spot on the roster that they did not have the year before. The nominees are made by the entire NVR Wrestling roster, and voted on by the fans on twitter.
