IN RING...
The lights are out, as NVR's crew sets up the ring for their hour block. As the ring crew finishes their minor changes to the apron and turnbuckles, a single spotlight appears in the ring, revealing NVR Wrestling's President Caleb Jackson. He has a big smile on his face.

CALEB JACKSON: Ladies and Gentlemen... Welcome to THREAT LEVEL MIDNIGHT!!!

Caleb Jackson raises a hand, and the lights come on. The crowd pops for this as they see all the cool NVR banners and whatnot.

CALEB JACKSON: Two years ago when I took over NVR Wrestling, I never thought we would be held the same high esteem as the rest of the promotions in this 30 Hour Festival of Wrestling. Whether this is your first NVR event you're watching or your 47th, we thank you for making us a part of this community and for giving us the opportunity to perform in front of you all tonight!!

The crowd pops one more time for the pandering, because we like the cheap pops here in NVR.

CALEB JACKSON: So without further ado, please enjoy the show and the rest of the full event altogether!!!

Caleb Jackson does a bow, before leaving the ring, which instantly goes into the first match of the night, because they are short on time already!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing firs the challenger...

"I'm a freak of nature baby."

The first up tempo line shoots through the PA system and echoes throughout the arena, prompting Rivers to step through the curtains. Sporting either a sports or leather jacket, The Independent Contractor stands upon the stage and panders to the crowd, running left and right to hype them up before walking down the ramp. He slowly makes a lap around the ring, fist bumping folks on the way to the steps. Climbing up the steps, he then sits upon the apron and soaks it all in and lays upon the hardest part of the ring. After a few seconds, he rolls under the bottom rope and into the ring before rising up to a vertical state and panders to the fans more from atop the nearest turnbuckle/second rope by throwing his hands up and yelling out to them.

Hopping off of the turnbuckle, he saunters toward the center of the ring and poses once more as he unzips his jacket. He quickly hands his jacket over to the official and runs the ropes once to get himself ready for what's to come.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And the champion...

The arena plunges into darkness apart from a shimmering red strobe on the stage which moves in tune to the beat, there is a sudden explosion of fiery pyro and Lash gets a warm reaction as he leaps out from the backstage area at the same time. Lash Donohue strides down the ramp confidently, his arms stretched out, slapping the hands which reach out to him. The fans get a lot more enthusiastic as Lash leaps up onto the barricade and shows off his agility. Lash reaches the end of the barricade wall and looks around, giving a somewhat cocky smirk as several flashbulbs go off while he leaps from the Wall to the ring apron, strikes his trademark pose and 'skins the cat'. Lash Donohue ascends to the top rope and gestures for the crowd to get louder before jumping down and awaiting his opponent.

From what I understand Rivers is like the Lorax if the Lorax spoke for Independent Wrestling. From what I understand Lash is a 4chan user. That combo should be fun. I don’t know if it’s because it’s midnight and I’m getting tired or what but I swear this Rivers guy does way too much. Like he’s bumping all over the place and he’s adding flips to moves that it doesn’t logically make sense to add flips to. What does a flip add to a Bulldog? Huh???!!! What???!!! He also keeps forcing Lash into these weird bouts of Chain Wrestling that ultimately don’t lead anywhere. Shit’s weird. I do like all the gratuitous and unnecessary head drops he adds to moves though. That’s cool. Lash probably doesn’t think so. Good thing for Lash that he manages to put Rivers away when he does so he doesn’t have to keep getting dropped on his head.

Both Kira And Sui come out from the back before they point at the ring and do a cut throat motion. They make their ways down the ramp way and walk around the ring, along the way slapping hands of fans and talking to the crowd. They meet up to where the announce table is and climb on top of it where they make an "X" with their arms and rile up the crowd.

They make their way into the ring and climb up to the top turnbuckle where they do another cut throat motion, sticking out there tongues and rolling their eyes into the back of their heads. all undertaker like. They drop down and square up to their opponents finishing it off.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And the champions...

The bright white lights from above slowly begin to dim throughout the building. The sounds of “Control” by Halsey begins playing over the speakers as other light sources begin to pulsate in rhythm with the opening tones. A bright white light shines from the entranceway as it begins to fill with smoke until a silhouette of a woman is seen standing on the other side.

“They send me away to find them a fortune

A chest filled with diamonds and gold”

Slowly walking out from the back, Riley Savell steps out into the open as a spotlight shines down onto her, not dressed up for the gimmick what so ever. Stopping at the top of the ramp, she looks over the arena, slowly turning her head from left to right, taking in the scenery of the atmosphere for tonight’s event. She pauses as "I Wish" by Cher Lloyd feat T.I. hits the speakers, and a few seconds later Jessica Anderson emerges from the curtain, dressed in a Ditto version of Riley (or is Riley the Ditto and Jessica not participating? Who knows?). She stands with her feet at roughly a shoulders width apart and raises her right index finger into the air. At the top of her lungs, she screams out aggressively to let everyone know just how good she and Riley Savell are.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: “Coming down to the ring at this time from... ‘The Villain’... RILEY SAVELL... 'The Sidekick' Jessica Anderson... The World’s Most Okayish Tag Team!!!"

The women begin to make their way down the ramp, walking to the beat of the music. They look around the venue as Jessica quickly leaps up onto the ring apron, and Riley Savell slides between her legs. Jessica before straddles the middle rope as Riley kneels in the ring, looking at their opponents. Jessica winks at the camera before Riley gets up and gives Jess's backside a slight spank. From here, Riley and Jessica got to the corner and Savell climbs up to stand on the middle rope, and Jessica backs into the corner between Riley's legs, both ready for the match to start.

The Skull Kids boo Riley coming out. I’m surprised they’re still up. This is way past their bedtime. The World’s Most Okay Tag Team lives up to their name with some of their early work in the ring. They do debatably the World’s Most Okay Tag Team Moves! Wow. I really wrote that. Christ. Kira and Sui are a little more than okay with their tag team moves. I’d dare say they’re pretty damn competent. But neither team can really gain much traction. Every time one of them starts to get one over on the other the other member of the team comes in to disrupt everything. Probably why Riley resorts to distracting the Skull Referee and lets Jessica hit Sui with one of their title belts before putting him away for the three count!

Kira’s quick to check on Sui after the match and the World’s Most Okay Tag Team celebrates the World’s Most Okay Tag Team Victory.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first...

The APEX International Champion hurries to the ring first, not giving any of the fans a second look. In the past, Blaise would hi-five fans and give them attention, but Fader isn’t here for anything but to beat up her opponents. Sporting a CHOOSE DEATH T-shirt, everyone in attendance simmers down as they realize what Blaise has on her mind.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And her tag team partner…

Classic Man Remix by Jidenna (feat. Kendrick Lamar) hits the PA system, and the lights fade to a red color. At the top of the stage, sparkler pyres go off and as the chorus hits, they shoot off white, as red confetti shoots into the air, and out comes Tapp Wrestling. The REALEST Wrestler walks down the ramp ignoring the fans and focusing on the match ahead. Tapp slides into the ring on his stomach and slaps the canvas three times before hopping up. He "Runs the ropes" and arrogantly poses in the center of the ring by kissing his hands and spreading them out into the air as his music fades out.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponents...

It may not mean nothing to y'all

But understand nothing was done for me

So I don't plan on stopping at all

I’m shutting shit down at the mall

And telling my boy he’s the one for me

And I ain’t even planning to fall

“Forever” begins to play as the crowd looks on in confusion, only to break out into cheers as Izzy Van Doren and Karen Willow walkout, NVR World Title around her waist as she pauses on top of the ramp. Izzy rips open her vest, throws her head back, and poses at the top of the ramp. They smile and smirks with the fans chanting "PLC!!! PLC!!! PLC!!!". Looking out into the crowd, they begin making their way down, Karen’s hands resting atop the title. Upon reaching the threshold wear the ramp meets the ring mat, Izzy bites her lip, winks to the camera, and slides into the ring. She pops up to her feet and heads to the hard cam side of the ring. Karen makes her way around the ring, slapping hands with several outstretched hands before sliding into the ring, keeping the momentum going by rolling up to her knees. Popping to her feet, Karen runs to the nearest turnbuckle and leaps onto the second rope, screaming out into the sea of fans. Izzy slides her torso in between the top and middle rope. IVD smiles and throws her arms open forming the horns with her hands. Karen unhooks the title before raising it proudly into the air, drawing another chorus of cheers from the fans as the music slowly fades out. Both women drop down to their corner and their eyes widen and their smiles look a little more crazed. They pull back and look on at their opponent, eager to get down.

You can cut the tension with a knife here. Bad blood between Blaise and IVD. Bad blood between Tapp and Karen. Something like bad blood between Blaise and Karen because IVD is Karen’s friend. It’s a whole thing. Have you ever seen those cartoons where the little yappy dog has a big brutish dog as a friend and muscle? That’s Tapp’s game plan. He barks insults from the apron and he only tags in after Blaise has thoroughly ran through on somebody. I swear I’ve seen managers wrestle more in matches than Tapp is in this match. Not that Blaise looks like she cares much. She’s too busy shutting down Izzy and Karen any time they try anything on her and generally making them her meatbag dolls. It’s a miracle these two can kick out of so many nearfalls after what Blaise does to them. Swear at one point she tries to see how many times she can Suplex Karen on top of her head before she gets bored of it. It’s when she draws blood that Karen looks to be in big trouble. Good thing Izzy throws herself at Blaise like some kind of crazed fucking monkey like that one from Outbreak. Blaise puts a stop to that by Big Booting Izzy into Karen and that knocks Karen out onto the apron. Tapp’s loving it when Blaise deadlifts Izzy up and she Gorilla Press Tosses her at Karen! But! Karen ducks and she Headbutts Blaise’s gut and she comes back into the ring with a Sunset Flip! Tapp tries to break it up but Izzy is somehow alive still after being thrown out of the ring! Well. Alive enough to lean into the ring and grab Tapp by his leg to hold him back! Maybe she looks like a murder scene with how much she’s bleeding but Karen wins the match!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL… KAREN WILLOW AND IZZY VAN DOREN… POOR LIFE CHOICES!!!

Blaise is fuming after the match. She Slaps the Skull Referee around a little and she tries to intimidate them for making the call. Tapp joins in on shoving the Skull Referee around and he even accuses them of making a fast count! Izzy ignores those two and she helps Karen up so PLC can celebrate their win! The NVR fans in the crowd cheering them on to close out the block.
