We open to the ring and NVR's resident submission specialist is standing in the ring with KT Anderson. The wrestler's jaw is [allegedly] wired shut and casually pulls a notepad out of his pocket. As Tapp begins to scribble something down, KT Brushes some dirt off his Jorts before bringing the microphone in his hand up to his lips.

KT ANDERSON: Listen up! I’ve been blessed with the honor of being the REAL Mr.Wrestling’s mouthpiece tonight.

This garners jeering from the crowd and KT soaks it up like a sponge, all with a shit-eating grin on his face. He laughs into the microphone shortly before Tapp Wrestling taps his shoulder and hands him a sheet of paper from the notepad.

KT ANDERSON: I gotcha champ.

KT pulls out a pair of reading glasses and places them on his face. The Genius in Jorts clears his throat and goes on to read what Tapp has written down.

KT ANDERSON: Ladies and Gentlemen, REAL wrestling fans of all ages. It’s my pleasure and honor to introduce to you the Sultan of Submissions, the Lord of Locks and Holds, THE Realest Wrestler in the Business. A man who truly needs no information.

Tapp waves his arms furiously and begins shaking his head. He scribbles down something else and hands KT the paper once more.

KT ANDERSON: Ohhhh. A man who truly needs no INTRODUCTIONS, Tapp Wrestling!

Another roar of disapproval from the crowd. Tapp goes to work on the writing pad yet again, a slight smile on his face as he hands the paper to his designated mouthpiece.

KT ANDERSON: Mr. Wrestling says that you people are in for a treat tonight. He says that you don’t deserve it, but he’s here to put on another classic that none of you even thought was possible. He’s putting his health at risk once again, by wrestling with a broken jaw! Mind-Blowing!

Tapp scribbles another note down and passes it to Anderson.

KT ANDERSON: That’s what separates Him from the rest of the wrestlers in the back. His drive and pure dedication to the sport. There’s not a single thing on this parent….. sorry There’s not a single thing on this PLANET that could ever make Mr. Wrestling step away from the ring. Not like that Chump 3K. That’s why he accepted this match. Because he’s trying to relive his glory days. He knows that a Classic Match with Tapp Wrestling could be just the revival he needs. He wanted this match so bad that he put his pride first and his mask on the line. How stupid can you be? Not only are you about to lose to The REAL NVR World Champion, but when you do, you won’t even be able to hide your face in shame.

TWFKA Tapp Addams nods his head approvingly while patting KT on the back. He shakes the man’s hand and proceeds to give him a folded up wad of cash before going to his corner and stretching in preparation for his match.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first...

The upbeat rhythm of Omapendafule begins to play as lights flash to the beat. From the curtain comes out Babatunde Garramunde, jamming to the beat of his entrance theme. He gets the fans hyped by getting them all to raise their hands and sway to the beat with him. He heads down the ramp, waving at the fans and shaking hands as he makes his way down to the ring. Once he gets to the ringside area, he lays on the apron and rolls all the way into the center of the ring. He then gets up to one knee and gets the crowd to sway to his theme once more, before taking off his entrance jacket and getting ready for the match.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing next …

The opening of Mad Hatter begins to play, as lights flash to the tune of the little bells, but then the lights all change to a scarlet color as the verse first hits and Dani Davies steps out. She starts to walk down to the ring, singing the lyrics to the song as she stays away from the fans at ringside.

The normals, they make me afraid
The crazies, they make me feel sane

Dani walks towards the camera, reciting these words as she hopes onto the apron and poses. She looks around at the crowd with a bit of disgust, as she spins into the ring and poses one more time, still singing the words to the song as the music.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponent...

TJS appears on the screen. Each letter fades in and out before the other appears as the intro plays. The lights dim slightly aside for a trio of lights which, you guessed it, shine TJS onto the roof of the building or down onto the ring. TJS appears from behind the curtain with his back to the crowd but spins to stand facing them, legs wide apart, and embraces the crowd. Throwing out a t-shirt to one of the crowd members rampside earns a pop before he starts to walk down the ramp. TJS raises a finger, then sings with the crowd the opening lyrics to his theme.

Begin the day
With a friendly voice
A companion, unobtrusive
Plays that song that's so elusive
And the magic music makes your morning mood

TJS grabs the ropes with the small instrumental break and spins to hook the top rope and face the ramp.

Off on your way
Hit the open road
There is magic at your fingers
For the spirit ever lingers
Undemanding contact
In your happy solitude

As that riff hits, TJS backflips into the ring and walks around the ring, the lights dimming down to an almost darkened state as the titantron light the arena with purple, pink, blue, and red bright screens. TJS then performs a running shooting star press and lands on his feet, pretending it was unseen but the house lights come back on bright just a second after he lands. TJS nods his head to the rest of the song. Even as it fades out, the loyal NVR fans sing it loud and proud with TJS conducting them with one hand.

The bell rings in our opening match as Baba and Teddy try to instantly go for the smaller Dani Davies. Dani somersaults between them, and the boys stumble into each other. Split dropkick by Dani sends TJS and Babatunde into the ropes. She runs at them with a crossbody, but she gets caught. Baba and Teddy look at each other as Dani tries to wriggle free, and they just dump her over the top rope with a double fallaway slam. Dani luckily lands on her feet, but she realizes she can spectate from the outside, so she stays down and watches. Teddy and Baba go to the center of the ring and start trading shots. Baba goes for a wild punch and TJS is able to grab it and turn it into an Armdrag into a reverse rolling prawn pin! The TJS Special for the pin 1… 2… Dani slides in and boots TJS to break the pin up!!! Big groan pop from the fans as they thought this match was about to be upset, but instead Davies grabs TJS and slams his head into a turnbuckle before taking him down with a running bulldog. She hits a Headtrip buzzsaw kick to the back of Teddy’s head. She covers him for the 1… 2… BABATUNDE BREAKS IT UP WITH A FRONT FLIP TUMBLEWEED!!!

MR. WRESTLING 3K: Dani Davies is trying to make an impact here tonight, but Babatunde Garamunde breaks up the pin attempt!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: Babatunde is one suave mofo. That front flip leg drop was smoother than Namibian Wine!!!

MR. WRESTLING 3K: Yes, but his fluidity almost cost him when Teddy flipped him over his shoulder and almost got the 3 count himself.

K.T. ANDERSON: Freaking Teddy…

Dani is quick to get back to her feet and begins striking Babatunde, driving him into the corner. Dani climbs up to the middle rope to get some leveraged punches, but Baba grabs her into a powerbomb hold. He Alley Oops Dani into the top turnbuckle, before hitting a spinning knee strike to the back of Dani’s head. She goes down as TJS gets to his feet and hit s a big german suplex on Babatunde. Teddy charges Baba, looking for something, but Babatunde hits a big Hippo Toss. TJS lands right next to the corner as Baba leaps over him onto the turnbuckles and hits a Safari Senton. Garamunde goes for the pin, but Dani breaks it up with a running double foot stomp before the ref even gets a chance to count. Davies throws Baba through the ropes and yells at him as he goes to ringside. Before she can grab Teddy, he boots her in the face. Dani stumbles back, and Teddy plants Davies with That One Slam at Band Camp. He goes for the pin 1… 2… BABA WITHA
TREE FROG SPLASH!!! Teddy is rolled off of Dani, and Baba goes for the pin 1… 2… DANI KICKS OUT!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: Nearly stealing victory from the jaws of TJS. You love to see it.

MR. WRESTLING 3K: You realize Teddy could still win, right.

K.T. ANDERSON: The Steiner Math says otherwise, 3K.

MR. WRESTLING 3K: I don't know what that means…

Babatunde starts giving Lamb Chop to both Dani and Teddy as they get to their feet. Each shot echoes in Studio Merlot, but Dani ducks one of the chops and hits a Pele kick. Baba stumbles back, and Teddy hits a This is Sparta kick to knock Baba down. Dani quickly goes for a schoolgirl pin, but Teddy kicks out at 2! Teddy gets to his feet and Davies runs at him with a wild leaping lariat, but TJS ducks it and counters... BLUE HARVEST BOMB!!! He holds for a pin and eats a penalty kick to the chest from Babatunde at the count of 2. Babatunde pulls Teddy to his feet and locks in the Hog Roast. Teddy seems to be fading fast, dropping to a knee almost instantly. Teddy refuses to tap, but he looks like he might be close. Right before TJS gives up, Dani hits Baba with a HeadTrip kick on Garamunde’s head. Baba lets Teddy go and both men get to their hands and knees. Dani hits a Love, LayBay curb stomp on TJS and then Baba. She covers Teddy, but only gets a 2 count. She covers Baba next, but again just gets a 2 count. She slaps the mat as Teddy begins to stir. She pulls him to his feet, and places his head between her legs, looking for a piledriver. TJS is able to power her off her feet into position for the TJS Ultra Special Deluxe!!! Teddy is unable to capitalize here, as Garamunde gets to his feet and goes for a Himba Kick on TJS. Teddy is sent stumbling out of the ring. Baba pulls grapes out of his pocket and looks to hit Dani with the juice, BUT DARBY MACNAMARA IS ON THE APRON!!! The Were-Racoon does a springboard aerial, grabbing the grapes from Baba’s hands! Darby eats the grapes and runs out of the ring. Baba looks astonished as Dani pops up behind him and locks in the Double D lock. The shock of the move makes Baba tap out!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA SUBMISSION... DANI DAVIES!!!

“Mad Hatter” by Melanie Martinez plays as Dani stumbles to her feet and has her hand raised. Baba still looks bewildered at what all has just gone down. Teddy wakes up from his daze, realizing the match is over and curses Amazon for ruining his match training this past month. Baba curses “Dobby McNanna” as he smacks the mat and says “Dey Gwaepz wer rait dare”. Dani tells him to shut up on her way out of the ring, as she raises her hand one more time and talks trash to the camera as she heads to the back.

MR. WRESTLING 3K: It looks like Darby MacNamara has made an enemy of Babatunde Garamunde here tonight, but either way, this was a great win for Dani Davies!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: I like this Dani Davies. I like Baba too, he might be the guy to replace Squiggly in my eyes, but Dani Davies seems like she can be a stone-cold bitch and I am here for it!

Both Kira And Sui come out from the back before the point at the ring and do a cutthroat motion. They make their way down the rampway and walk around the ring, along the way slapping hands of fans and talking to the crowd. They meet up to where the announce table is and climb on top of it where they make an "X" with their arms and rile up the crowd.

They make their way into the ring and climb up to the top turnbuckle where they do another cutthroat motion, sticking out their tongues and rolling their eyes into the back of their heads. all undertaker like. They drop down and square up to their opponents finishing it off.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponents...

The opening of Perfect strangers begins to play as two spotlights shine on the stage, showing two silhouettes in each. The two walk toward each other, right when the song bursts to light, and bright gold and white lights flash around the arena as they kiss. The lights reveal the Indy Darlings, Rivers King & Isabelle Valentine, as they continue to embrace each other and look at the camera. Rivers spins his girl out, so that she's standing by his side, and they walk down to the ring. They don't let the fans touch them, but they pretend the fans are talking about them as they head towards the ring. Rivers lifts Isabelle onto the apron, where she kicks one long leg out onto his shoulder. They pose at ringside before Belle spins into the ring, and Rivers follows her. In the center of the ring, Rivers stands over Isabelle, as they pose one last time before their music starts.

This match starts with Rivers and Izumi circling the ring. Kira shoots some kicks to measure the distance, but Rivers catches one and goes for a takedown. Prone Wristlock by the King of the Indies, but The Zombie muscles his way to his feet. Rivers goes for a kimura-type hammerlock, but Izumi drives him into the ropes to break the hold. Izumi starts throwing kicks again, baiting Rivers into another takedown so he can kick King in the face. Rivers goes down hard and Izumi starts hitting some mounted palm strikes. King presses him off, but Izumi keeps the attacks coming, driving Rivers into the corner and tagging in Obata. They hit the Stop the Defamation combo and Obata pins for a 2 count. Obata locks in a headlock, wrenching the neck a few times before Rivers throws an elbow to break Sui’s grip. Obata and Rivers both hit the ropes at the same time, and go for dropkicks at the same time, but they just end up colliding awkwardly. Rivers starts to crawl towards his corner, but Sui Obata grabs his leg. Rivers bounces a few times but does a forward roll to whip Sui into the Indy Darling corner. Tag to Isabelle Valentine, AND THEY HIT SKYNET!!! Belle goes for the cover… 1… 2… KIRA IZUMI WITH THE SAVE!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: Obata just got BLASTED!!! I’m surprised he wasn’t blood misted right there.

MR. WRESTLING 3K: Kira Izumi with a timely save! Obata could be seriously hurt after that electric chair knee!

K.T. ANDERSON: Sui may not be pretending to be dead for much longer.

MR. WRESTLING 3K: We’ll see how Obata and Izumi are able to rally soon, I’m sure!

Obata does begin to rally. After getting abused in the corner by frequent tags, Sui is able to grab Rivers' head mid-tag and hit a stunner over the top rope to knock him off the apron. Belle tries to keep Obata away from his corner by jumping on him, but Obata is able to stay up and run her into the corner as Kira makes the tag. Sui hits a backpack stunner on Belle, as Kira runs up behind her and punts her in the back. They forget Rivers is legal for a moment and lock in a Subjugation crossface/sharpshooter combo on Belle, the referee breaks them up. Kira keeps trying to get at Belle, confused on why he’s not allowed to as Rivers hits the top rope and flies into the ring with a crossbody. Kira is quick to recover and the two men trade strikes. Izumi goes for a big roundhouse but Rivers ducks it and tags Belle back in. She goes for a slingshot X-Fact- KIRA WITH A KNEE STRIKE TO THE MOUTH!!! Izumi hits a big deadlift german into a pin, but she kicks out at 2. Izumi yells something at Obata, and Sui hops off the apron and runs at Rivers to distract him, as Izumi hits a big falcon arrow on Belle for the 1… 2… VALENTINE KICKS OUT!!!

MR. WRESTLING 3K: Don’t know if I agree with the distraction technique there, but good strategy overall with Dead Pretenders here so far.

K.T. ANDERSON: You’re going to yell at a team for playing defense, but not for them attacking the illegal opponent?

MR. WRESTLING 3K: They honestly believed Belle was legal. It happens from time to time.

K.T. ANDERSON: AND YOU CALL ME BIASED!!!

After some tags, Obata and Izumi now have Rivers trapped in their corner. They drag him out for the Akai Ame double heel kick. double buzzsaw kick combo. Obata goes for the pin as Izumi heads to the corner, but Belle enters the ring and hits a sliding kick into the face of Sui. Obata gets to his feet AND NEARLY KNOCKS BELLE OUT WITH A WICKED SPINNING KICK!!! Rivers uses this momentary distraction to roll Obata up with a handful of tights, but Sui still manages to kick out! Obata begins to break Rivers down with a series of fast-paced spin strikes and knocks him into the Dead Pretenders corner, but Rivers is able to do a standing switch that drives Obata and Izumi’s heads together. Kira goes down to the floor, and Rivers hits a vertical suplex toss to send Sui over to the other side of the ring. Rivers tags in Belle and pulls Obata to his feet. Sui starts to fight back, but Rivers is able to shove Sui towards Isabelle anyways. Belle brings her knees up... AND SHE LOW BLOWS OBATA WITH A KNEE!!! The referee can’t see the low blow from the angle he’s in and Rivers comes in with the O’Connor Roll German suplex to complete their sneaky Wicked Embrace variant. Obata tries to get to his feet, still holding his groin, as Belle finishes him off with the Heartbreaker for the 1… 2… 3!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNERS OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... ISABELLE VALENTINE AND RIVERS KING… INDY DARLINGS!!!

Kira Izumi quickly chases Belle out of the ring as he goes to his partner Sui Obata, who is still suffering from the low blow. Rivers pulls Isabelle out of the ring and carries her up the ramp in triumph as they raise their hands and Belle plants a kiss on his cheek. They both raise a hand, as Kira and Sui look on in disappointment and frustration.

MR. WRESTLING 3K: What a despicable way to win a match!

K.T. ANDERSON: Despicable??? More like brilliant. There’s a reason why Rivers and Isabelle are the DARLINGS of the Indy Scene!!!

BACKSTAGE...
Brea was taking a reflective pose over some of the sound equipment and talking to the cameraguy who recorded her as she addressed the NVR faithful, while she has her IJWF Heritage Championship standing beside her in a custom guitar case she made for it.

BREA LOMBARDI: "Last outing I was in an eight woman rumble, and fought my ass off to make it to the final two. I even took out the big shark in the match, Dana Alans."

She said a bit proud of herself for that, though, that smile faded briefly.

BREA LOMBARDI: "But, I made a dumb mistake and Kira Brooks was able to take advantage of it. And as they say in the racing industry, second place only means you're the first loser..."

She said before turning a bit to the camera, and speaking more to the people in the back.

BREA LOMBARDI: "That said, it's going to light a big fire in me, and the moment I get in that ring one on one, I'm gonna tear somebody to shreds! And that, my friends, is a guarantee."

The lights in the arena go dark as "Supernova" by Primal Fear begins to play. A single red spotlight illuminates a figure on the stage as the image of a burning Tiger Mask appears on the ‘Tron and fog begins to creep across the stage and down the ramp. The spotlight turns to white as the hooded SuperNova raises her head to look out across the audience before slowly beginning her walk to the ring. She climbs the stairs before ducking under the second rope to walk to the middle of the ring, holding her arms wide and looking up to the ceiling as the red spotlight shines down on her for a few moments before shutting off. SuperNova goes to her corner to prepare for her match as the lights in the arena come back on.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponent...

Nobody walks out for a few minutes, but suddenly the lights go out...

“CORAZON NEGRO”

"Cinco de Mayhem" by the Bleeding Fingers begins to play as black, purple, and gold strobe lights shine all over the arena as outcomes the masked man, Corazon Negro! He is wearing the mask that has been seen all over NVR for the past couple of months. He walks slowly and eerily down to the ring, staring his opponent down. Corazon Negro slides to the ring and poses in the ring before he turns and faces his opponent.

Match starts with a bit of circling before Corazon charges at Risa. Risa tries to evade with a side step, but Corazon gets a handful of her hair as she steps away and slams her to the mat. He drives a knee into the back, as he locks in a chin lock. Risa is able to get her fingers into his grasp and break his grip so she can get away. As she gets to her feet, Corazon Negro grabs her around the waist and slams her back down on her stomach. Corazon switches to a north/south position and pulls Risa back up into a standing head scissors. He looks for a powerbomb lift, but Risa pops up over his head and down for a sunset flip. 2 count pin attempt by Risa as Corazon kicks out. Backroll by Risa and she hits a big dropkick that sends Corazon stumbling backward into the corner. High-running crossbody from Risa as she goes up over the top rope. She boots Corazon from the apron, making him stumble towards the center of the ring. SuperNova climbs to the top turnbuckle and goes for a diving lariat, but Corazon Negro superkicks her out of the air. He lifts her up for his series of brainbusters. He hits uno... dos.. tre-NO!!! RISA COUNTERS WITH A STUNNER LAST SECOND!!! Risa scrambles to stack Corazon Negro up for a pin… 1… 2… CORAZON KICKS OUT!!!

MR. WRESTLING 3K: The SuperNova is trying to take it to The Black Heart!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: Let’s see if she can harness some of that spookster angst from her new NFW buddies, so she can truly take control of this match.

MR. WRESTLING 3K: NVR is its own world. Nothing outside of here matters right now, and that includes Risa’s career path.

K.T. ANDERSON: I just wanted her to be edgier… Jesus….

Risa continues her attempts to smack Corazon around but a leg sweep and a punt kick to the chest takes her out. Corazon picks Risa up and throws her into the ring post hard. He grabs Risa by the hair and whips her through the ropes. He watches her get to her feet as he goes for a tope suici- RISA WITH AN ELBOW TO THE FACE OF CORAZON!!! She grabs one of his arms into a side clinch and drills knees into the face of Corazon. He stumbles and she whips him over the top of the barricade, before going into the ring and looking for a possible count-out victory. At about a seven-count, Corazon Negro gets to his feet and makes it into the ring. A big running knee by Risa knocks him back down the mat. She throws a leg up for an ax kick, but Corazon is able to catch her and power bombs Risa right on the back of her head. After a minute of catching his breath, Corazon Negro pulls Risa onto his shoulders... MICHINOKU DRIVER!!! Corazon Negro climbs to the top rope, does a quick cutthroat motion, before leaping off the top rope with his Tribute to The King Frog Splash. He does a flip from the impact, but spins around goes for the cover 1… 2… 3NO!!! RISA KICKS OUT!!!

MR. WRESTLING 3K: BIG KICK OUT BY RISA!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: Man, she had him on the ropes, and just one false move leads to all this.

MR. WRESTLING 3K: That’s how wrestling is sometimes. All it takes is one well-timed counter to completely change a match.

K.T. ANDERSON: And now we’re going to watch The SuperNova burn out I guess.

Corazon takes Risa and whips her into the corner. He hooks her arms in the ropes and begins to drill knees into her midsection. Jeff the Ref pulls Corazon off of Risa, but The Black Heart grabs her up and drills her with Los Tres Enemigos. He covers Risa, but Risa kicks out at 2. Corazon gets to his feet and stalks Risa as she crawls to the ropes and lifts herself. Risa is on wobbly legs, so Corazon hits a running dropkick to the side of her knee. Risa goes to a knee, and that’s when Corazon Negro hits his Sin Amor finisher!!! He covers Risa for the 1… 2… 3NO!!! HE PULLS RISA BACK UP!!! The referee tells Corazon to just pin her and get it over with, but The Black Heart ignores him. Corazon Negro pulls Risa to her feet, and wraps her up into a straight jacket hold, before ripcording her out and hitting the Black Ace Lariat. He keeps hold of her arm after she goes down, and he pulls her up for the Corazon Roto, BUT MIMI SMITH COMES OUT OF NOWHERE AND KICKS CORAZON WITH A SHINY TEETH NO MORE!!! Corazon Negro actually stumbles into the referee and knocks him down, so Jeff the Ref can't call for the bell. Mimi is quickly back on top of Corazone with a series of Hellbows, before grabbing Risa and drapping her over Corazon. Mimi wakes the ref and jeff counts for the 1... 2... 3!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... RISA!!!

As soon as the match is over, Mimi is back on top of Corazon. Corazon Negro tries to escape by rolling beneath the bottom rope, but Mimi slingshots herself over the top rope and lands on the masked fiend. Mimi continues to hit heavy shots on Corazon, and she lifts him for a German suplex out onto the floor. The Former Diego Matias rolls back onto his feet and hops over the barricade to get away from Mimi. Mimi kicks the barricade and yells at the man who betrayed her as he backs away.

Mimi heads up the ramp and nearly makes it to the stage when someone calls out to her. She turns to see Corazon Negro back in the ring with Risa set up for a piledriver. Apparently, when Mimi turned around to head back to the front, Corazon had run back to the ring, and now she’s too far away to help Risa. Corazon taunts her, and before she can even get to ringside he hits Corazon Roto, before rolling out of the ring. Mimi and the Referee tend to Risa.

K.T. ANDERSON: YEAH BOY!!!

MR. WRESTLING 3K: ATROCIOUS!!!CORAZON NEGRO JUST ASSAULTED RISA FOR NO REASON!!!

BACKSTAGE...
Gemma Marchand is standing backstage next to “Enforcer” Anthony Cross in front of his locker room. Anthony is in his wrestling gear with a navy blue New York Yankees t-shirt on and has the NVR San Francisco Openweight title belt over his left shoulder.

GEMMA MARCHAND: I am standing here with the NVR San Francisco Openweight champion, Anthony Cross. Tonight you have a huge title defense with three challengers fighting to take your San Francisco Openweight title.

ANTHONY CROSS: I don’t get it, Gemma. A few weeks ago I was on my way to successfully defending my title against Rhys Adelson but out of nowhere comes Jack Gibson and Dax Levandrier bickering through the crowd only to interject themselves into my match. Now I am facing all three of these belligerent recalcitrants in one match. Explain this to me, Gemma.

GEMMA MARCHAND: You’ll have to ask Mr. Jackson that but the fact remains you still have to defend your title tonight.

ANTHONY CROSS: I have this unsettling feeling you are correct, Gemma. While the math will have shown that since I am wrestling in a Fatal Fourway I am at a great disadvantage. As we all know though I never like being at a disadvantage. Being at a disadvantage makes me feel uneasy. Now I can go on to explain to all of you why I am walking out of here with my San Francisco Openweight title and the Steiner math behind it but everyone is confident that I am going to be the one walking out retaining my championship.

GEMMA MARCHAND: Do we all know why?

ANTHONY CROSS: Of course, Gemma. Jack and Dax obviously hate each other. So they will cancel each other out which leaves me and Rhys once again like it was a few weeks ago. Rhys knows in his heart of hearts that he knows he doesn’t measure up to me in any way. Which is exactly why I will walk out of here tonight unscathed and still NVR San Francisco Openweight champion.

Anthony turns around and walks away.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first...

The song plays through 15 seconds before Dax Levandrier steps through the curtains. He stands upon the stage and cranks his own neck before bellowing out this almost primal yell.

“DEFY YOU, TO THE DEATH WE DESERVE”

He starts to hop back and forth on his feet until he starts stomping on down the ramp. He doesn’t once look out to the crowd, his eyes laser-focused at the ring. Closing his eyes, he lets the screaming of his theme song fill his thoughts before opening his eyes and leaping onto the apron. He cleans his boots on the apron and steps through, walking toward the center of the ring. The hard cam zooms in on Dax as he madly stares through the lens, almost as if he’s peering through the souls of the audience watching at home.

The song runs through the chorus once more and Dax walks his way toward the nearest rope, climbing onto the second turnbuckle. He finally looks out to the crowd and steps his right foot on the top turnbuckle before he flexes his massive arms, yelling out once again like a madman. He then does a 180 and hops off, staring blankly yet again, zoned in for his bout.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing the next opponent...

The heavy intro of "Before I Forget" by Slipknot echoes through the arena. The crowd goes silent as the drums continue to bellow from the speakers. Finally, the word "GO" sounds like a queue, and the screen changes from black to large purple and Silver letters of "JACK GIBSON".

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMAN FROM LAS VEGAS, NV. STANDING 5'10" AND WEIGHING 185 POUNDS... KING OF SPADES... JACK GIBSON!

The crowd explodes for the highflyer. He makes his way out of the back and stairs at the chaos in the ring below. He seems determined as he charges down the ramp and toward the ring.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And the next challenger…

"Animals" by Architects plays on the PA System as Rhys "Doom" Adelson walks out. He looks around the arena callously as the music continues to play. He cracks his neck and waits for a key moment in the lyrics.

"WE'RE JUST A BUNCH OF FUCKING ANIMALS"

As this lyric is heard, Rhys explodes with a roar and quick intimidating pose, before stomping down to the ring. He slides across the apron on one side, before going into the ring and does the same pose he did on the ramp. He then marches over to the ropes and leans on them as he yells some threats to his opponents and waits for the match to begin.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing now, the champion...

Natural Born Killaz By Ice Cube and Dr. Dre start playing throughout the arena. Smoke comes from the entranceway. As the smoke is clearing The Enforcer walks through the smoke and looks out at the crowd. Enforcer then walks down to the ring. He walks up the stairs onto the ring apron, looks out at the crowd, and lifts his arms out to the side. The Enforcer steps through the top and middle ropes. Enforcer walks over to the opposite ring ropes and lifts his arms out to his side.

The bell rings and all four men explode into action, Jack and Dax going after each other and Rhys and Cross going at each other. Dax chucks Jack up over the top rope and runs at Cross and Adelson with double lariats. Levandrier chucks Rhys with a biel toss across the ring and pulls Enforcer into the center of the ring. Rebound shoulder block, but Cross doesn’t budge. Dax tries again, but Cross just stumbles back into the ropes and delivers a shoulder of his own. Dax stumbles backward but doesn‘t go down either. They both hit the ropes and go for shoulder tackles, and they both end up knocking each other down. Dax and Anthony lay on the mat as Gibson pops back... SPRINGBOARD 450!!! Gibson goes for the cover. 1… 2… Rhys comes from behind and wraps his arms around Gibson’s neck. He drags him up to his feet and slops onto his back for a deep rear-naked choke. Jack wiggles and tries to do a backroll, but Rhys is able to stop his counter with body scissors. Gibson has nowhere to go and seems to be fading fast, but Cross gets to his feet and hits a running senton to break the hold. Cross pops up to his feet BUT LEVANDRIER WITH THE SPEAR!!! He covers the champion for the 1… 2… KICKOUT!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: CHAOS AND ANARCHY!!! I LOVE IT!!!

MR. WRESTLING 3K: Each competitor showing why they deserve the San Francisco Openweight Championship!!! Even this early in the match!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: We really need to rename that title…

MR. WRESTLING 3K: You’ll have to take that up with Caleb Jackson later, but right now we’ve got more action to watch!!!

More crazy spots happen and we find everyone back on their feet. Cross lifts Gibson in a vertical suplex hold and tosses him at Levandrier, BUT DAX CATCHES JACK THE SAME WAY!!! Dax keeps the momentum going by launching Jack at Rhys. Adelson isn’t nearly as strong as Dax and Cross, so Gibson’s weight knocks him to the ground. Dax and Cross go back to hitting big shots on each other. Dax goes for a short-arm lariat, but Anthony ducks it, shoots behind and shoves Levandrier into the corner. He lifts Levandrier in the air and places him backward on the top rope. Cross climbs up to the top with Dax, and throws him with a big super German suplex!!! Cross gets to his feet, he tries to crack Levandrier with a Mafia Kick, AS JACK GIBSON HITS A SLINGBLADE OUTTA NOWHERE!!! Sliding knee to the temple of Dax by Jack, but now Rhys has made it back to his feet. Gibson goes for a crossbody, but Adelson takes him out of the air with a bicycle kick. He pulls Jack back up and lands some stiff strikes, but Jack is able to wiggle free. Both men go for Question Mark kicks and they land perfectly on their temples. Jack and Rhys both fall on Cross and Dax and make accidental exhaustion pins… 1… 2… JACK AND DAX KICKOUT!!!

MR. WRESTLING 3K: A NEAR DOUBLE PIN!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: Would that have even counted???

MR. WRESTLING 3K: No it would not have, but it’s also an exciting and rare happenstance that hasn’t been seen in NVR since 2019!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: That’s kind of dumb…

After some more strike changes and resting holds, we see Cross and Adelson brawling on the outside. Inside the ring, Dax is beating the tar out of Gibson. He goes to whip Jack into the ropes, but Gibson slides underneath the bottom rope. As Dax stumbles his way towards where Jack is, Gibson grabs a chair from beneath the ring and cracks Levandrier over the head with it. He runs up on Cross and smashes him on the back of his head. Cross goes down as Adelson hits a Doomsaw Kick to put the Champion down. Gibson tosses the chair at Adelson, but Rhys catches i- VAN DAMINATOR!!! Adelson goes down and Jack grabs three tables. He sets one up at ringside, one in the corner, and one in the center of the ring. He picks Adelson up and rolls him into the ring and props him on the corner table. Gibson backs up a bit and goes for a running dropki- RHYS MOVES AND JACK GOES CRSHING INTO THE TABLE!!! Rhys sets up for the Doomsaw kick but sees Dax get onto the apron, so he runs full speed and hits a big running knee SENDING DAX INTO THE TABLE SET UP AT RINGSIDE!!!. Adelson turns around, ONLY TO SEE CROSS FLYING AT HIM THROUGH THE AIR!!! Big diving clothesline by The Enforcer, crushing Adelson through that center table. Cross covers Adelson for the 1… 2… 3!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... AND STILL NVR SAN FRANCISCO OPENWEIGHT CHAMPION... ANTHONY CROSS!!!

Cross muscles his way up from the rubble of the table and raises his hand high. Cross almost collapses as he is handed his title, but catches himself on the ropes. He looks down at the carnage around him, as Gibson lays in the fetal position on the apron, Adelson lays trapped beneath table debris, and Levandrier just now getting to his knees at ringside. Anthony Cross nods at his handiwork and raises his title high in the air one last time, before heading to the back.

K.T. ANDERSON: ENFORCER STANDING TALL HERE IN NVR!!!

MR. WRESTLING 3K: Lots of crazy moments in this match, but Anthony Cross comes out on top once again!

DURING THE BREAK...
Here we find Kira Brooks, just as she stands up and tosses something to the side and dusts off her hands. Out of her ring jacket pocket she takes a shiny white pebble, and promptly drops it, a laugh pealing from her in a delighted way. She shakes her head before giving a little sidelong glance at the camera.

KIRA BROOKS: Sometimes a plan really does come together, right? This? Well maybe not so much but I’ll make do.

Kira waves her hand in a big circle indicating the numbered boxes outlined in chalk on the Studio Merlot floor backstage. A grin comes and goes on her lips as she bends to retrieve her pebble and tosses it before taking a breath and jumping to the spot it lands in, her wrestling boots glimmering from the holographic style layer on the bright white material. Her entire gear tonight is made of this or embossed with it, giving her almost a unicorn like glow.

KIRA BROOKS: It’s a fun game I used to really rule at when I was a kid, you guys all remember hopscotch or maybe at least you’ve seen it on TV - much like many of the wrestlers here tonight for this NVR show. I was going to say something like ‘just about anyone can do hopscotch but not everyone can wrestle’ but you know… that’s just not true.

She stoops and picks up the pebble again, bouncing it in the palm of her hand, her eyes following the motion as she does.

KIRA BROOKS: The fact is, some people cast a bigger shadow than you’d think their body would allow.

Kira smiles a little and tosses the pebble again, but this time she waits, her hands on her hips.

KIRA BROOKS: I mean of course, Izzy Van Doren. I don’t know her outside of what I’ve seen of her in a ring, I couldn’t tell you much about why she does the things she does. What I can tell you is, no matter what gets said by who, maybe even what she herself might say…? She is very much show don’t tell. If you’ve seen her wrestle then I don’t need to say anything more, ok? But if you haven’t? If this particular match where I’m coming for her NVR Women’s Championship is your first experience with Izzy Van Doren? You’re in for a treat.

Kira gives a firm nod, considering moving on but she stops and then shakes her head, a grin doing its best to surface on her full lips.

KIRA BROOKS: It’s a lot to think about, and trust me I have. I’ve worked hard, trained hard too but being completely honest? I always do. I put in a lot because I love what I do, not just because it’s expected of me, as a second generation wrestler. As proud as I am of being Bama Brooks’ daughter, of my half-sister… my family I gained? That isn’t all there is to me.

Kira leans in towards the camera, her voice dropping to a lower volume, like she is in the process of sharing a secret with the watching fans, lending a touch of something extra to her words.

KIRA BROOKS: This isn’t my first chance to be a champion. Some have been more successful than others? But I know that feeling, to win, to prove myself on that night to be the better wrestler. To be the one that saw their shot and took it.

She mouths ‘ISGC Golden Ticket’ and winks before she turns and with a tiny oomph of effort escaping her lips at the landing, jumps to the new square and retrieves her pebble.

KIRA BROOKS: That’s what got me here, tonight, to face Izzy Van Doren. I couldn’t be more thrilled and that’s not sarcasm, I mean it. This is my chance to see where I am tonight, and that’s a priceless thing to gain. Izzy, I’ll see you out there!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first...

As En Route To Mayhem by Apocalyptica plays, the music rolling out over the room, from the back emerges Kira Brooks, determination in her steps as she moves down the ramp towards the ring. She pauses at the ring steps to look out over the fans in attendance and she throws her hands up into a signal for them, a big smile on her pretty face. She pauses to wipe her boots on the apron before ducking between the ropes, lingering a bit before moving on into the ring, her expression focused and eager as she waits for the match to begin.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And The Champion...

Izzy comes out of the curtain bumping to her music. She rips open her vest, throws her head back, and poses at the top of the ramp. She smiles and smirks with the fans chanting "Izzy, Izzy, Izzy". Upon reaching the threshold wear the ramp meets the ring mat, Izzy bites her lip, winks to the camera, and slides into the ring. She pops up to her feet and heads to the hard cam side of the ring. She slides her torso in between the top and middle rope. She smiles and throws her arms open forming the horns with her hands. Izzy's eyes widen and her smile looks a little more crazed. She pulls back and looks on at her opponent eager to get down.

Before the match even starts, Kira reaches a hand out for a handshake, and Izzy accepts. The bell rings, and the two women begin to circle the ring. Kira and Izzy finally go in for the tie-up, and they fight for position. They seem to be in a stalemate, so Izzy goes for a leg sweep. Tough on her back, Kira is quick to pull guard and switch positions so she can be on top instead. She tries to do some ground and pound, but a well-timed headbutt knocks Brooks off of the champion. Both women get to their knees, BUT KIRA TACKLES IZZY EXPLOSIVELY. She tries to lock in a Boston Crab, but Izzy quickly crawls to the ropes to break the hold. A clean break from Kira, but as Izzy comes off the ropes, Kira opens up on her with a series of strikes. She follows up with a belly-to-belly suplex that sends Izzy back to the center of the ring but doesn’t capitalize. Instead, she allows Van Doren to get to her feet and they circle once more. Izzy is the one to start with the strikes this time, going for a big running boot that nearly catches Kira off guard, but Brooks catches Izzy with a Leaping Lariat instead! She lifts the Champion onto her shoulder and hits Bama Snake Eyes!!! She covers Izzy for the 1… 2… IZZY GETS THE ARM UP!!!

MR. WRESTLING 3K: NEAR UPSET EARLY IN THE MATCH!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: Vada Brooks just embarrassed IVD!!!

MR. WRESTLING 3K: Now, now! Izzy Van Doren kicked out, so this match isn’t over yet.

K.T. ANDERSON: I don’t know, Kira seems to be whooping that ASS!!!

Brooks continues her own momentum as she hits a hair pull snapmare on the champion. The referee reminds her that that move is technically illegal, and she apologizes, but she still hits the ropes to deliver a shining wizard!!! She covers Izzy, but still only gets a 2 count. She pulls Izzy up and goes for a pedigree, but Izzy drops to a knee to prevent it. Kira lets go, trying to reposition Izzy, but IVD pops up to her feet with Brooks in a fireman’s carry! DEATH VALLEY DRIVER BY IZZY VAN DOREN!!! THE CROWD POPS!!! They get to their knees and trade shots, but Izzy seems to fight through to engage in her comeback. She lands the Kick and Snare, but when she follows up with her Adios Amigos headlock driver, Kira is able to pop her up and place her onto the top turnbuckle. Kira climbs up behind Izzy and goes for an avalanche frankensteiner, but Izzy holds onto the turnbuckle to keep herself safe on top of the ring post. Kira falls to the mat in a heap and Izzy turns around, Kira tries to roll away from IVD, but she actually positions herself perfectly for Izzy. STAGE DIVE SENTON!!! Izzy scrambles over and covers Kira for the 1… 2… KICKOUT!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: COME ON KIRA!! YOU HAD YOUR FOOT ON HER THROAT!!! NOW LOOK AT YOU!!!


MR. WRESTLING 3K: See, I told you not to count Izzy out!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: AH SHUT UP 3K!!!

MR. WRESTLING 3K: I most certainly will not!!!

Izzy and Kira trade momentum, again and again, proving that they both are at the same high level of competition. Kira begins to catch an edge with a series of strikes as she staggers the champion and takes her to a knee with a low superkick. Brooks hits a hurricanrana driver that drills Izzy’s face into the mat. Vada Brooks wastes little time to get back up, spin Izzy over, AND SHE LOCKS IN THE INDIAN DEATHLOCK! Kira uses her free foot to add tension to the hold, but Izzy refuses to tap. The Champion looks like she might be giving up, as she goes for one last-ditch effort to roll onto her stomach, AND SHE DOES!!! However, this only locks the Indian Deathlock in tighter, so Izzy has to scramble to crawl to the ropes. She’s just a fingertip away as Kira starts to crawl away from the ropes. Izzy finds a way to roll Kira a few times and this lands her right into the ropes and forces the break. Jeff the Ref separates the two, and Kira instantly pops up and goes for Shatter, but Izzy sidesteps Brooks and throws her into the ropes. Brooks ends up with one leg between the ropes, and Izzy quickly used that positioning to place her in a HANGWOMAN ADIOS AMIGOS!!! She drills Kira’s head into the mat and covers her for the 1… 2… 3!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... AND STILL NVR WOMEN’S CHAMPION… IZZY VAN DOREN!!!

Jeff the Ref helps Izzy up and raises her hand in victory. Izzy is handed her title, but she kneels by Kira. Brooks looks disappointed but congratulates Izzy anyways. Izzy pulls her up to her feet and shakes Kira’s hand. Izzy raises her hand, and Kira takes the honor with pride, despite losing in this encounter.

MR. WRESTLING 3K: Big show of respect by the pioneer of this company to the possible future of it!

K.T. ANDERSON: Yea, yea. It’s really cute...

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first, the challenger...

The lights dim inside of the arena as "Hey Mama" begins to play and Daya Matias steps out from behind the curtains. She stands at the top of the ramp, hands on her hips, and a big smile on her face as she takes in the cheers from the crowd. Daya is dressed in her ring gear, a bold mixture of her favorite colors of red and gold, along with a flower crown resting at the top of her dark raven black hair. Daya begins to make her way down the ramp, slapping hands with some of the fans along the way, before she jumps up onto the ring apron with a flourish followed by the sounds of her laughter echoing throughout the arena. As Daya steps foot inside of the ring, the lights come back on, and the music begins to fade out as she prepares herself for her big match.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And the champion...

“Deal with the Devil” hits the speakers as Julianna DiMaria appears on the stage, greeted by some boos from the fans in attendance. She ignores them and heads down to the ring with a confident, focused look on her face. Once she heads inside the ring, she cracks her knuckles, indicating she's ready to fight, and afterward does the "talk to the hand" gesture toward all the fans that are booing her, displaying another touch of arrogance to get the fans against her even more. She heads to her corner and scoffs at the reaction she's getting as the song fades and she waits for what's coming next.

The bell barely rings as Daya runs up on Julianna almost immediately with a running dropkick that sends DiMaria into the corner. She snaps mares Julianna into the corner and leaps up for her Leap of Faith Moonsault, but Julianna rolls towards the corner as Daya lands on her feet and rolls backward. DiMaria gets to her feet on the apron, but Daya Matias leaps over the top rope and hits a hurricanrana off the apron to the outside! The crowd goes crazy as Daya pops back up to her feet and hypes them up. Daya rolls the Mainstream World Champion into the ring and climbs onto the apron. Daya springboards off the top rope for a Dragon-Rana, but Julianna is able to counter it into a powerbomb. DiMaria gets separation, as she rolls away from Daya and recovers in the corner. Both women get back to their feet, and Daya tries to use her speedy offense again, but Julianna is ready this time, allowing Daya to crash into the turnbuckles instead. Daya tries to pop back up to her feet, but a spinning kick to the gut drops the former NVR Tag Champion. DiMaria rolls Daya to the center of the ring and goes for a shining wizard, but Day boots her leg out from under her before she can step off!!! Quick La Magistral Cradle by Matias for the 1… 2… Julianna with the kick out!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: WHY THE FUCK IS MAINSTREAM HERE AGAIN?!?

MR. WRESTLING 3K: We made a trade for title matches, but that’s unimportant as two NVR staples are fighting for this world title here tonight and Daya Matias is proving that she is still a main-event level wrestler!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: THIS ISN’T EVEN A MAIN EVENT!!!

MR. WRESTLING 3K: But that’s the caliber Daya and Julianna wrestle on, so it doesn’t matter, does it?

Daya continues to have her advantage as she begins to hit high-speed shots as she rebounds off the ropes to keep Julianna disoriented. A famouser takes The Mainstream World Champion down to the mat as Daya covers her again. Another kick out at 2, but Daya stays on the champion. She goes for a wristlock but gets a few elbows to the gut for her troubles instead. Big codebreaker by Julianna as Daya goes to the mat. DiMaria gets up and drills Matias with three lariats, before hitting the ropes for a tilt-a-whirl headscissors into a forward Russian leg sweep. She flips Daya over for a quick pin attempt, but Daya kicks out at 2. She pulls the challenger to her feet and whips her into the ropes and pops her up for a powerbomb! Julianna has taken a beating, so she’s not rushing to push the advantage of Daya right now. Daya lays in the center of the ring and looks up at the lights. She honestly looks knocked out, as DiMaria stumbles over to her- SMALL PACKAGE!!! 1… 2… Julianna breaks out and both women get to their feet. They spin out to their knees. And trade some strikes, but Julianna backs up and starts to fight defensively. Daya catches this as she purposefully starts faking moves, trying to get Julianna to jump, and finally catches her with a fakeout takedown into a scorpion kick. DiMaria stumbles into the corner, and Daya begins to light her up with strikes. Daya does a back handspring away, before running at the DiMaria and Julianna gets a boot up, BUT DAYA CATCHES IT!!! She whips Julianna’s leg out over the middle rope and drops her with a backbreaker. Daya covers Julianna once again, but Julianna grabs the bottom rope to break the count at 2.99! Daya gets to her feet and begins to get the fans to clap with her. As Julianna gets to her feet, she goes for a springboard cutter- JULIANNA CATCHES HER WITH A FULL NELSON!!! She pulls Daya back up to her feet and drills her with the DiMaria code!!! She covers Matias for the 1… 2… 3!!!

Despite Julianna being a fan favorite in NVR, she is still booed for retaining her Mainstream Championship, because that’s how territorial rivalries work. Julianna shrugs it off and raises her title high because she knows it’s only because No Cal hates Mainstream. Julianna gives props to Daya, as both have really stepped their game up in 2021. Daya returns the respect, before joining the fans in booing Mainstream, much to the chagrin of DiMaria. Julianna rolls her eyes, and Daya gives her a wink as DiMaria leaves the ring.

Mr. Wrestling 3K took time during the break to change into his wrestling gear and warm-up for the match and now he is standing in the ring. He has his patented Blue mask on with a pair of black and silver wrestling tights.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And his opponent...

Classic Man Remix by Jidenna (feat. Kendrick Lamar) hits the PA system, and the lights fade to a red color. At the top of the stage, sparkler pyres go off and as the chorus hits, they shoot off white, as red confetti shoots into the air, and outcomes Tapp Wrestling. The REALEST Wrestler walks down the ramp ignoring the fans and focusing on the match ahead. Tapp slides into the ring on his stomach and slaps the canvas three times before hopping up. He "Runs the ropes" and arrogantly poses in the center of the ring by kissing his hands and spreading them out into the air as his music fades out.

The bell rings and Mr. Wrestling 3K walks to the center of the ring, offering a hand to Tapp before the match starts. Tapp looks at 3K’s hand and decides to spit in Mr. Wrestling’s face. 3K wipes it off and tries to keep his calm, but Tapp instantly goes for a takedown. He gets leg sweep and tries to out grapple 3K, but Mr. Wrestling is about 4 inches and 60+ pounds heavier than Tapp. 3K quickly powers out of Tapp’s mount and begins to drill knees into the chest of the REAL Mr. Wrestling. Big vertical suplex into a gator roll by 3K, however, when he tries to go for a back roll into a guillotine, Tapp gets his feet up and is able to leverage himself back to his feet. As both men are in the standing headlock position AND TAPP GOES FOR A SMALL PACKAGE!!! 3K kicks out, but Tapp holds on and rolls to his stomach, locking in the last chancery. Again 3K is able to power out of a hold Tapp had. They find themselves back to their feet as Tapp hits a big jumping shote palm strike! Tapp wraps 3K up for a ripcord knee, but 3K WITH A KNEE OF HIS OWN!!! He calls that humble pie, as he hits the ropes and delivers another Humble Pie knee strike. Deep cover by 3K as Steph the Ref counts… 1… 2… KICKOUT BY TAPP!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: ATTA BOY 3K!!! He’s showing Tapp who the REAL Mr. Wrestling is!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: Tapp IS the REAL Mr. Wrestling!!! He married Wrestling itself, 3K just threw a mask on and made up a dumb name.

GEMMA MARCHAND: I’m not taking advice from a guy in above-the-knee cut jeans...

K.T. ANDERSON: Don’t worry, Tapp will prove me right anyways.

3K places Tapp in an abdominal stretch, bending his opponent nearly in half as he drives his free arm into the ribs of The NVR World Championship Briefcase Holder. Tapp is able to maneuver his legs out of the hold and hip tosses 3K to the mat to break free. 3K runs at Tapp at full steam, but Tapp hits not one… not two… but three straight arm drags that take the Blue-Masked Babyface to the mat. He locks in a wristlock and talks major trash to 3K. Mr. Wrestling 3K is able to roll forward out of the hold and pops Tapp up for another Humble Pie, but Tapp scouts it and gets his arms up to block it. They trade some strikes, but Tapp goes dirty and begins to slap 3K up. Tapp wrestling staggers 3K and goes for a kick to the ribs, but 3K catches it! Tapp thinks quickly and tries for a big Enziguri, BUT MR. WRESTLING 3K DUCKS IT AND COUNTERS WITH A BIG DRAGON SCREW!!! He drops Tapp and quickly locks in a single leg Boston Crab! Tapp scrambles to get to ropes, and nearly gives. Tapp spins on his back for all of a second as he boots Mr. Wrestling 3K in the rear enough to make him lose his balance so that Tapp can grab the ropes!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: THAT’S BULLSHIT!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: 3K is giving the Wristlock Academy owner a clinic in REAL wrestling!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: WILL YOU STOP USING TAPP’S ROYAL REAL???

GEMMA MARCHAND: WILL YOU STOP USING MY ROYAL GIFS ON TWITTER???

3K again finds himself in the driver seat after a series of chain grappling ends in a stalemate due to a rope break. He uses his bigger size to overpower his opponent. This is when Tapp begins playing a lot more strategically and a lot less showboating. He targets one of 3K’s legs with kicks while hitting his opponent in the head with elbows whenever he tries to fight the leg game. 3k realizes this, and baits Tapp into another elbow strike so that he can counter! Big Ura Nage, which 3K calls Fighting Spirit, before hooking Tapp up for his finisher. He delivers the Summum Bonum without fail and Steph the Ref counts 1… 2… 3NO!!! TAPP KICKS OUT AT THE VERY LAST SECOND!!! 3K can’t believe he stumbles to his feet in exhaustion and goes to grab Tapp, but Tapp shoves a thumb in 3K’s eye!!! 3K staggers away and Tapp hits a big chop block on Mr. Wrestling 3K, taking the 2020 NVR Staff Member of the Year down to a knee! Tapp hits the ropes real quickly and hits his “Caught in 4K” shining triangle right in the center of the ring!!! Tapp has 3K trapped in the hold and begins to fade fast. 3K desperately tries to stack Tapp up, but Tapp uses his neck strength to keep from getting pinned. 3K stacks and presses Tapp even more, and Tapp grabs at 3K’s mask. 3K deadlifts the World Championship Briefcase Holder into a Powerbomb position… AND TAPP PULLS 3K’S MASK OFF!!! 3K quickly drops Tapp and covers his face. Tapp smiles viciously as the referee calls for the bell!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA DISQUALIFICATION... MR. WRESTLING 3K!!! HOWEVER... STILL YOUR NVR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BRIEFCASE HOLDER… TAPP WRESTLING!!!

Tapp holds 3K’s mask high in the air as Steph the Ref calls for a towel to cover 3K’s face. Since he didn’t legally lose, his identity still needs to be hidden, but he looks surprisingly like Billy Danielson. It’s a good thing nobody reads this crap. Anyways. 3K is able to cover his face and runs to the back as Tapp raises the mask and his briefcase high in the air.

K.T. ANDERSON: 3K thought he could go toe-to-toe with the REAL Mr. Wrestling and he got shown up by the greatest wrestler in this company. That’s just the simple truth.

GEMMA MARCHAND: Your opinion is as bad as your jorts. Mr. Wrestling 3K has always been an honorable man and kind heart. He absolutely does not deserve disrespect like that. I know Tapp doesn’t feel ashamed, but he should.[/span][/div]

There are no frills and no BS with this setup as we come back from a commercial. Lash Donohue is in the locker room. While he's still in street clothes, he's pulling on his elbow pads and applying his finger tape. He smirks and chuckles softly as he slowly looks up to the camera lens.

LASH DONOHUE: Willow. I can groove with your mindset. You're the NVR World champion. You're a good NVR champion. You're a fiercely loyal NVR champion.

He kicks his bag around at his feet without breaking contact with the camera lens.

LASH DONOHUE: But y'know something, Karen? Pride isn't necessarily a helpful attribute. Loyalty can keep a talented performer circling the drain long past the point of earning their spot.

Lash's eyes narrow and a semi-scowl forms.

LASH DONOHUE: You sure as shit ain't a smart NVR World champion!

Semi-scowl turns into a semi-smirk.

LASH DONOHUE: As far as champions go? You're a puppet on strings. Like professional wrestlers, there are loudmouths out there who want a piece of us on almost a daily basis. Here's a little food for thought, Kdub! Just because some jerkoff in another company challenges you, it doesn't mean you gotta jump when they say how high.

Lash leans back against his locker, sighs, and then shakes his head slowly.

LASH DONOHUE: At your level? That kind of ego-addled stunt is just plain embarrassing. And you didn't even bring home the freakin bacon, Karen! I was all like "What is this shit? What is she even doing?"

Lash's hands gesture wildly as he begins to pace. The negative energy is building up. The frustration is pretty evident.

LASH DONOHUE: You never even considered for a second, Kdub. You DO have rights. You CAN tell people to pound sand. You don't HAVE to go out there and risk your shit elsewhere just to prove some point, appease some dipshit or make a little bit of extra cash. Heck. Ain't I supposed to be the rookie?

Lash winks and smirks sideways.

LASH DONOHUE: I couldn't NOT take this match, though. You're like a freakin' chihuahua. You'll jump at anything, and heck, I'll work the main event! I'll take down the top champ right in 'her' domain! I'll build my name just a little more at her expense! I'll kick her ass.

Lash chuckles.

LASH DONOHUE: As you just somewhat painfully found out over at good ol' Union, everything has a cost and there ain't no guarantees, Karen. It's a super bummer that I can't cash in on your dumb ass, y'know. But what can ya do?

Lash rolls his eyes and shrugs.

LASH DONOHUE: Well whaddya know? I guess you have at least ONE guarantee. You'll keep that thing for a little while longer, however miserable the rest of your reign turns out to be after this trash can runs through ya. Catch ya soon, Kdub.

Lash scowls and waves the camera away as he scoops his bag back up and places it on the bench. The locker room door slams behind the cameraman as he makes his way out, and we cut back to the desk.

The arena plunges into darkness apart from a shimmering red strobe on the stage which moves in tune to the beat, there is an explosion of fiery pyro, and Lash gets a warm reaction as he leaps out from the backstage area at the same time. Lash Donohue strides down the ramp confidently, his arms stretched out, slapping the hands which reach out to him. The fans get a lot more enthusiastic as Lash leaps up onto the barricade and shows off his agility. Lash reaches the end of the barricade wall and looks around, giving a somewhat cocky smirk as several flashbulbs go off while he leaps from the Wall to the ring apron, strikes his trademark pose, and 'skins the cat'. Lash Donohue ascends to the top rope and gestures for the crowd to get louder before jumping down and awaiting his opponent.

“All The Thing She Said” by Poppy plays and the arena lights flicker between pink and darkness while thick smoke fills the stage. As the beat kicks in, Karen Willow steps through the curtain - illuminated by a single spotlight - as she surveys the fans with narrowed eyes. The corners of her mouth slowly curl upwards before Karen saunters down the ramp. As she gets to ringside, Karen climbs through the ropes and paces around the ring like a caged animal, never taking her eyes off the opponent as the music fades out.

This match starts with both champions charging at each other and just throwing wild haymakers. Lash is trying to beat mutual respect into Karen, and Karen is trying to send a message to the world that she will no longer take disrespect. Jeff the Ref is almost too scared to step in to break them up, as Lash shoves Karen to the mat. He goes for a punt, but she sweeps his legs and begins to drill punches into his face. He grabs her arm and presses her off. Wolf Fang Fist attempt earlier, but Lash side steps. Boot to the gut, and now Lash is trying for his Bury-Go-Round, but Karen escapes the double underhook easily. They look at each other, and both spit on the ground, revealing they are bleeding from the mouth. They go for a tie-up, and Lash takes control early. He throws The World Champion into the ropes and comes off with a rebound back elbow. He hooks Karen up for his double underhook backbreaker, but Karen reverses with a modified KarenCantRana. She guides him into the corner and begins to boot him down into the corner. Karen backs up a bit, and charges at Lash screaming “FUCK IT”, but Lash rolls out of the corner. Lash no stands at the center of the ring and HE charges for his overhead cannonball senton, but Karen rolls away and Lash gets trapped in the Tree of Woe. Karen screams “FUCK IT” and this time successfully launches herself into Lash as they both crash to the floor in a heap. Karen drags Lash into the center of the ring and hits the ropes… MINA’S BLESSING!!! The shining Wizard connects and she covers Lash 1… 2… LASH GETS THE SHOULDER UP!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: I like to believe that they are fighting for my approval because I don’t like either of them.

GEMMA MARCHAND: That cannot in the least bit true…

K.T. ANDERSON: Actually… it kind of is. Former goofballs that want people to see that they’re deserving of championships despite what the haters say… and I’m their haters.

GEMMA MARCHAND: Well why you’re over there pretending you matter to champions, I’m going to be watching the match...

The tempo slows down a bit as the early-match adrenaline wears down. Lash lands a few key shots that get his momentum back in the match. He begins to target the midsection of Willow, but when that becomes too predictable, he catches Karen with a knee to the face as she tries to protect her midsection. Willow goes flat on the ground, and Donohue grabs her arm. He begins to stomp on her neck, hitting numerous Pogo Plunges in the process and covers for a pin. Karen kicks out at 2, but Lash is still right there with the strikes to keep the World Champion at bay. That is until she catches him with the Wolf Claw! Donohue grabs his face and quickly falls for the old Bop & Bang distraction punch combo. A good place roundhouse drops him to a knee, and she drills him into the mat with a Bloody Sauce. She covers Lash for the 1… 2… Lash kicks out! Karen is quick to lock Lash into a Wolf Hurricane lock right next to the ropes to add insult to injury. She teases him as the R!ZE Champion struggles to escape the paradise lock variant. He finally gets out and gets to his knees, but Willow hits a Pu’Ar Says Hi kick right to the perineum of Donohue, sending him falling to the outsides. She waits for Lash to get back to his feet as she goes for a suicide di- LASH CATCHES HER!!! He grabs her head and spikes her head first into the apron as she comes through the ropes! Lash rolls her into a powerbomb hold, and swings her into the ring apron. He rolls the World Champion into the ring and proceeds to deliver the Kickin Back combo of 3 stiff kicks and a somersault cutter for the 1… 2… KICKOUT!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: These two just keep beating each other out of existence!!!


K.T. ANDERSON: It’s about time they took being champions seriously. It’s only been like a year for both of them.

GEMMA MARCHAND: THEY BOTH LITERALLY GO TO OTHER COMPANIES TO DEFEND THEIR TITLES FOR OUR COMPANY!!! THEY ARE TOP-TIER CHAMPIONS FOR A REASON…

K.T. ANDERSON: And it was my tough love that got them there. See, full circle from the “I’m Haters” comment earlier!!!

Lash and Karen sit on their knees in the center of the ring and begin to trade shots. One slaps after the other, but the tempo begins to pick up with each strike. Their faces start to turn red from the series of strikes, but they still don’t stop. They slowly get to their feet, trading in their slaps for elbow strikes. The speed picks up even more, as both of them just drill the other with strikes. They both scream “FUCK IT” and run at parallel ropes, and crash into each other with reckless crossbodies. Jeff the Ref begins to count to 10, and it isn’t until about the 7 count that Lash gets to his feet. He stumbles over to Karen and drills her with a short DDT. He weakly crawls over her and goes for the cover… 1… 2… 3NO!!! KAREN BARELY KICKS OUT AT THE 2.99999 MARK!!! Lash smacks the mat in frustration. He tries to pull her up to her feet for the Bury-Go-Round, but Willow seems knocked out. He drops her to the mat and decides to go for the Donohue Death Lock instead. He locks in the lion-tamer, and it seems all but over as Karen fades quickly. Jeff the Ref picks her hand up once and it falls flat. He pulls it up again, but again Karen’s arm goes down. He pulls it up one last time, and Karen uses it to grab Lash’s leg and bite his calf!!! Lash let's go, and Karen gets to her feet. She runs with a Wolf Fang Fi-BOOT TO THE GUT BY LASH. He double wet-willies her, before hooking her up for the Bury-Go-Round, but she spins out of the move. WOLF FANG FIST!!! She falls on top of Lash and the referee counts 1… 2… 3!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... KAREN WILLOW

Karen lays there for a moment, as she stares up at the lights. Jeff the Ref pulls her up to her feet and raises her hand in the air. She can barely stand as she stumbles to the ropes and calls her title. She raises it high in the air and throws it over her shoulder. Lash is just now coming to after that war and calls for his belt. Karen intercepts it and takes a look at the R!ZE Championship. Lash looks at her with confusion, but it isn’t long until she places his title over his shoulder for him. She raises her title high, but gives Lash a thumbs up in a form of “respect, but…”. Lash nods and raises his title too from his seated position as he isn’t quite ready to stand. Karen bails from the ring and walks up the ramp to cheers of “Let’s go Willow” and “NVR”

K.T. ANDERSON: I can’t lie, between this surprising banger and the Miles Lucky match… anyone that’s questioning Karen Willow can suck it… Unless it’s Tapp of course...

GEMMA MARCHAND: I’m convinced it will literally kill you if you say a nice thing about Karen or anyone that isn’t literal trash OR Riley and Jessica. Karena and Lash both just had a match of the year candidate and they deserve all the respect in the world. BOTH OF THEM!!!
