CUTTING EDGEFORT WORTH, TXIN RING...
The fans are electric after waiting for the show to start. We don't even get a full fan-cam pan out, before "Deal with the Devil" by Pop Evil plays. The newly-blonde Julianna DiMaria comes out, sporting a full new look as she heads to the ring, She gives no attention to fans tonight as she gets in there and looks right into the hard cam. She is expressing some confidence, but there is also a sheer look of determination on her face. Julianna has never been one to cut corners and mince words and from the looks of it, that will be the case once she expresses her thoughts.
JULIANNA DIMARIA: "I have been a part of NVR for about two and a half years now. I have been the NVR Women’s Champion. I have faced the struggles that I have faced. I have endured some tough losses as I’ve tried to work my way to the top. I’ve had to deal with outright hate and criticism from some idiot at the commentary table again and again. I’ve had to sit back and watch while people like Karen Willow, Lash Donahue, and Tapp Addams all gained the main event spotlight at my expense and while I struggled to break through the glass ceiling because, for some reason, it has never been “my night”. I have had to watch some outright nonsense such as Tapp Adams cheaply winning the NVR World title the way he did and then suddenly deciding to tuck tail and quit because NVR wasn’t a “worthy company for him to be in.” I have had someone like him, who is about 80 percent self-inflated hype, to begin with, try to make this company all about him and through it all, I’ve been pissed off, I’ve been frustrated, I’ve been disgusted and all these other emotions. I have had to deal with the frustration of being perhaps the longest-tenured and/or most successful wrestler in NVR history that has yet to win the big one."

"Even when I was “mainstream” and I had become a world champion, it became all about someone else in the end. It became all about overrated, overhyped Mariano Fernandez and his pathetic ass RETIRING AS WORLD CHAMPION at MY expense rendering my first ever world title reign in my career absolutely meaningless. Do you think I am over that? Because I’m not. I am BETTER, WAY BETTER, than being relegated to bullshit, supporting cast member of someone else’s retirement story MANG! I am SO much better than being the stepping stone for the likes of Karen, Tapp, and YOU Lash! YOU have the title that I have been starving for… for a LONG time! YOU have the title that I have always wanted. Hell, I wanted the NVR World Championship to be the first world title I’ve ever won in my career."

"And you know something Lash? While I do respect you as a competitor and while I do respect you as a champion, it made me JUST a little bit sick to see you as the one that got the official pinfall in that tag team match that we won together. Sure, we won the match. Yet, I ended up being the one that was left unsatisfied because I was wishing it was ME that got the pin."
Julianna takes a pause as she reflects upon her entire NVR journey from the first day she arrived all the way through the trials and tribulations that she has had to face to get to where she is now.
JULIANNA DIMARIA: "It’s a microcosm of what has frustrated me here in NVR: ALWAYS about someone else! I walked in here on some CLOWN SHIT with that “Mistress of Demise” nonsense and nobody ever took me seriously. I was a joke to other companies and a joke to most of the roster here. Then, I ditched that horrendous garbage and became just ME again! I went out and beat Taryn for the Women’s Championship. I went out and I had some success here with that title having the most successful title reign in that title’s history and after I had lost it, did anyone here talk about that reign? NO! Everyone was so fixated on POST-TITLE REIGN SLUMP trying to make NOTHING into a THING and I continued to be disrespected and overlooked by everyone in this company."
"I have busted my ass to fix my reputation here and prove so many people wrong, but nobody has ever noticed me because everyone’s so fixated on the AJ Morales and the Karen Willows and the Billy Danielson's of the world, and yet, my name comes up and nobody has ever put respect on it but me. This is more than just winning the world title that I have always wanted, Lash! This is about FINALLY silencing the DISRESPECT I have CONSTANTLY gotten since the day that I’ve been here. With that, Julianna flips the microphone to a loud pop. She is able to maintain her determination as she does a championship belt motion and rolls out of the ring to get ready for the main event of the night!

They stand at the top of the ramp and turn around with their arms extended out. They then make their way down the ramp laughing at and making fun of the audience members in the front row. Once at the ring, they roll under the bottom rope and twerk in the ring as their music fades out. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponent... The beginning of "Icon" By Jaden Smith plays. The high pitch singing plays for a moment as nothing around the area changes. Suddenly the music pauses and the lights go out. IT'S STRONGHOLD... IN THE MOTHER FUCKING HOUSE!!! Lights come back on as the lyrics begin and Stronghold burst through the curtain. Freddie licks his pinkies and fixes his eyebrows in the camera as Donnie pops his collar. Donnie charges down to the ring as Freddie hops to the beat on his way down. Prower slides into the ring and goes towards the hard cam side as Florentino meets up with him at the apron. They look at each other and pose in the ropes with simultaneous and symmetric bicep flexes as they say that "Stronghold is in the Mother Fucking House". Freddie spins into the ring as Donnie backs up into the corner and takes his mask off. They do their secret handshake and talk strategy as they wait for the match to start. VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA SUBMISSION... DONNIE PROWER & FREDDIE FLORENTINO… STRONGHOLD!!! “Icon” by Jaden Smith plays as Freddie gets into the ring to celebrate Stronghold’s victory with Donnie. Lyndsy pulls her sister out of the ring so that Stronghold can’t do anything mean to her, while also saying neither man “washes they ass anyways”. Freddie and Donnie ignore the petty insults as they tell everyone that it only gets easier for them from there. Donnie bails, because he doesn’t want to give NVR the satisfaction of staying there any longer, but Freddie has no problem soaking in victory and taking his time to enjoy it as he heads to the back with his partner. WARHEAD WILLIAMS: Big win by Stronghold tonight with an equally strong showing! K.T. ANDERSON: You know I love Indy Darlings… and you KNOW I LOVE Riley and Jess…. But this is the fucking team to beat. They could be champs before 2021 is over if they play their cards right! |

The Game by Alyssa Reid begins to play in the arena and we see Mimi’s name flash on the screen. She darts out of the back in a pair of dark denim jeans with a loose hanging NVR shirt one size too big for her. Mimi gives the crowd a few nods and peels off the covering on her shirt that turns it from a standard NVR shirt into a “Mimi's NVR House” shirt before she walks down to the ring with her arms behind her back, skipping once she’s halfway down the ramp and ends with a perfect slide into the ring. Once she’s on her feet Mimi gives a little twirl to a pose where her feet are a shoulder's length apart and her hands flat out with a complimenting smirk to say "Come on". VALENTINA LOVELACE: And her opponent... The intro to “Nug So Vile” by Cannabis Corpse as the crowd gets to their feet. When the first verse hits, JD Driftwood bursts from the curtain. He waves his arms trying to get the fans hyped, before standing at center stage and banging his head. When the chorus hits, he starts bouncing off the barricade, trying to mosh with fans as he makes his way to the ring. JD rolls to the center of the ring pop to his feet throw a middle finger in the air as the fans yell out with him “J F’N D”!!! VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... JD DRIFTWOOD!!! JD pops up and throws a fist in the air. Before Mimi can recover or JD can fully enjoy his victory, Don’t Stop by 5 Seconds of Summer begins to play. Bree Smith comes down to the ring with a smirk on her face as her sister progresses to 0-2 in the series. JD has to double-check she didn’t come down to fight him, and Bree tells him he’s all good. Driftwood throws a thumb up before rolling out of the ring and celebrating on his way up the ramp. WARHEAD WILLIAMS: Big win by JD Driftwood, but possibly devastating loss for Mimi. It doesn’t help that Bree came out just to rub it in her face. K.T. ANDERSON: Maybe she’s just here because her match is next. Mimi did the same last week, BUT BREE ISN’T A BIG LOSER LIKE MIMI!!! |

The opening riffs of Leather Rebel play, as Brea struts out and posed on the top of the ramp. She flashed some devil horns and headbands briefly, before moving down the ramp and joining in with some fans, and climbs up the apron. She does a standing split, before rolling under the bottom rope and kipping up, before posing for the crowd as her theme fades. VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... BREE SMITH!!! Bree lets go of the small package and pops up to her feet in excitement! Now shadowing her sister by 2 wins in their series, Bree is as elated as can be. Brea Lombardi on the other hand looks beyond upset as she sits on her knees. She double-checks with the referee that it wasn’t just a 2 count, but Jeff the Ref reassures her the count was a 3. Bre slaps the mat in frustration and slides to the outside. K.T. ANDERSON: BREE IS NOW UNDEFEATED IN THE TWIN SERIES!!! 3 More wins and Mimi gets kicked out or something. I don’t know. I don’t think this whole thing was fully thought out. WARHEAD WILLIAMS: Brea Lombardi with such a strong showing. It’s a shame to see her lose to a roll-up, but I know she’ll bounce back soon! |

LET’S GO DAX!!! VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first... The song plays through 15 seconds before Dax Levandrier steps through the curtains. He stands upon the stage and cranks his own neck before bellowing out this almost primal yell. “DEFY YOU, TO THE DEATH WE DESERVE” He starts to hop back and forth on his feet until he starts stomping on down the ramp. He doesn’t once look out to the crowd, his eyes laser-focused at the ring. Closing his eyes, he lets the screaming of his theme song fill his thoughts before opening his eyes and leaping onto the apron. He cleans his boots on the apron and steps through, walking toward the center of the ring. The hard cam zooms in on Dax as he madly stares through the lens, almost as if he’s peering through the souls of the audience watching at home. The song runs through the chorus once more and Dax walks his way toward the nearest rope, climbing onto the second turnbuckle. He finally looks out to the crowd and steps his right foot on the top turnbuckle before he flexes his massive arms, yelling out once again like a madman. He then does a 180 and hops off, staring blankly yet again, zoned in for his bout. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And his opponent... Nobody walks out for a few minutes, but suddenly the lights go out... “CORAZON NEGRO” "Cinco de Mayhem" by the Bleeding Fingers begins to play as black, purple, and gold strobe lights shine all over the arena as out comes the masked man, Corazon Negro! He is wearing the mask that has been seen all over NVR for the past couple of months. He walks slowly and eerily down to the ring, staring his opponent down. Corazon Negro slides to the ring and poses in the ring before he turns and faces his opponent. VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... DAX LEVANDRI- Valentina is cut off by an enraged Corazon who begins to attack Dax for the quick win. Dax and Corazon begin to trade strikes in the ring. Dax lands a few giant strikes, trying to get away from the irate Blackheart, but Corazon does not relent. Security guards, ring-hands, and ring officials start to fill the ring, but Dax is done backing away and starts to tear through the crowd of crew members. Levandrier grabs Corazon by the max, but Corazon scratches Dax’s eyes and delivers a forearm right to back. This is enough to separate the two and get them escorted out of the ring. K.T. ANDERSON: HOLY FUCK! WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT!!! WARHEAD WILLIAMS: Corazon Negro showing that he is a sore loser, but Dax Levandrier wasn’t about to step down from him. |

“Enforcer” Anthony Cross is walking with a purpose into the Cutting Edge ignoring the crew setting up for Halloween Horror Fights III when Gemma Marchand comes jogging over to Anthony. Gemma catches up to Anthony and puts her hand on Anthony’s shoulder. Anthony quickly turns his head in the direction of Gemma and takes his sunglasses off.
ANTHONY CROSS: What the hell, Gemma?!?!
Gemma Marchand puts her hands in the air.
GEMMA MARCHAND: No disrespect, Anthony. You have been very quiet since losing the San Francisco Openweight title and I wanted to get a word from you before you go prepare for your match tonight.
ANTHONY CROSS: Just a word? That’s all?
Anthony scoffs.
ANTHONY CROSS: I am sure the world is rejoicing that I am now the former San Francisco Openweight champion but what the hell do you want me to say? Obviously, I am pissed off, Gemma, I am no longer a champion. Wouldn’t you be pissed off?
Gemma nods her head in agreement.
ANTHONY CROSS: Despite that goofy intern Grady being booker for the night, Dani beat me straight up. No bullshit excuses. It is what it is. I took the championship that A.J. Morales brought into NVR just over two years ago and elevated that championship to where a San Francisco Openweight title match main evented an NVR show. Something that my predecessors weren’t able to do and those previous champions aren’t exactly slouches. So I can always hang a feather in my cap on that but the real question that has been running through my mind since I became the former champion is what exactly is next for me here in NVR? What exactly do I want to accomplish? Because I signed with NVR with my eyes squarely on the championship that I just held for six months. So I am clearly at a crossroads with an endless amount of possibilities. First and foremost is dealing with this annoying ass spider monkey who had the best seat in the house as I lost the San Francisco Openweight title. After I dispose of him tonight...well, you’ll just have to sit back and bear witness to what exactly is next for me. You can rest assured I will be proactive in what I do next because I do not like being without a championship or being one-upped.
Anthony puts his sunglasses back on and walks away.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS NEXT MATCH IS A DEATHMATCH AND IT IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!! ONE FALL!!! VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first... The upbeat, fast-paced tunes of Machine Gun Kelly’s pop-punk “Kiss Kiss” start to play and Darby comes out from backstage with his usual carefree energy. Pausing he’ll glance around to study the crowd and then begin to make his way quickly. On his way to the ring he’ll try and barter and trade with fans along the ramp, looking to exchange any of the nick nacks he might have picked up backstage (or who the hell knows where else). Sometimes he might be successful. Others he might come up empty. But eventually, he’ll turn his attention back to the task at hand, ascend the steel ring steps and then up the nearby turnbuckle post, flipping off the top turnbuckle and into the ring where he’ll find his way to his corner and (most likely) try and pickpocket the referee’s wallet on his way there. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponent... Natural Born Killaz By Ice Cube and Dr. Dre starts playing throughout the arena. Smoke comes from the entranceway. As the smoke is clearing The Enforcer walks through the smoke and looks out at the crowd. Enforcer then walks down to the ring. He walks up the stairs onto the ring apron, looks out at the crowd, and lifts his arms out to the side. Enforcer steps through the top and middle ropes. Enforcer walks over to the opposite ring ropes and lifts his arms out to his side. VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... DARBY MACNAMARA!!! Neither man moves. They’re both bleeding buckets from all of this, and two stretchers are brought down. The referee doesn’t know what to do, because she can’t raise Darby’s hand. She still signals that he was the winner as the EMTs gently maneuver both men onto their respective stretchers. Halfway up the ramp, Darby throws up a big thumbs up that pops the crowd, showing that he’s all good. Enforcer also puts up a finger, but it’s not the family-friendly one… but it still gets a pop for some reason! WARHEAD WILLIAMS: WHAT A HELLACIOUS MATCH WE JUST WATCHED!!! K.T. ANDERSON: I’M ALMOST POSITIVE BOTH MEN ARE DEAD NOW!!! |

MOST OKAY!!! VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first, the challengers... The bright white lights from above slowly begin to dim throughout the building. The sounds of “Control” by Halsey begin playing over the speakers as other light sources begin to pulsate in rhythm with the opening tones. A bright white light shines from the entranceway as it begins to fill with smoke until a silhouette of a woman is seen standing on the other side. “They send me away to find them a fortune A chest filled with diamonds and gold” Slowly walking out from the back, Riley Savell steps out into the open as a spotlight shines down onto her, not dressed up for the gimmick whatsoever. Stopping at the top of the ramp, she looks over the arena, slowly turning her head from left to right, taking in the scenery of the atmosphere for tonight’s event. She pauses as "I Wish" by Cher Lloyd feat T.I. hits the speakers, and a few seconds later Jessica Anderson emerges from the curtain, dressed in a Ditto version of Riley (or is Riley the Ditto and Jessica not participating? Who knows?). She stands with her feet roughly a shoulders width apart and raises her right index finger into the air. At the top of her lungs, she screams out aggressively to let everyone know just how good she and Riley Savell are. VALENTINA LOVELACE: “Coming down to the ring at this time from... ‘The Villain’... RILEY SAVELL... 'The Sidekick' Jessica Anderson... The World’s Most Okayish Tag Team!!!" The women begin to make their way down the ramp, walking to the beat of the music. They look around the venue as Jessica quickly leaps up onto the ring apron, and Riley Savell slides between her legs. Jessica before straddles the middle rope as Riley kneels in the ring, looking at their opponents. Jessica winks at the camera before Riley gets up and gives Jess's backside a slight spank. From here, Riley and Jessica got to the corner and Savell climbs up to stand on the middle rope, and Jessica backs into the corner between Riley's legs, both ready for the match to start. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And the champions... The opening of Perfect strangers begins to play as two spotlights shine on the stage, showing two silhouettes in each. The two walk toward each other, right when the song bursts to light and bright gold and white lights flash around the arena as they kiss. The lights reveal the Indy Darlings, Rivers King & Isabelle Valentine, as they continue to embrace each other and look at the camera. Rivers spins his girl out, so that she's standing by his side, and they walk down to the ring. They don't let the fans touch them, but they pretend the fans are talking about them as they head towards the ring. Rivers lips Isabelle onto the apron, where she kicks one long leg out onto his shoulder. They pose at ringside before Belle spins into the ring, and Rivers follows her. In the center of the ring, Rivers stands over Isabelle, as they pose one last time before their music starts. VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THIS MATCH HAS BEEN DECLARED A DOUBLE COUNT-OUT!!! THEREFORE… STILL YOUR NVR TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS… ISABELLE VALENTINE & RIVERS KING… THE INDY DARLINGS!!! The competitors haven’t realized what has happened yet as they continue to fight at ringside. Riley and Jess grab the champions by the back of their heads and roll them back into the ring, still thinking the match is going. They go for matching superkicks on Belle and Rivers, but The indy Darlings roll out of the ring and grab their titles. WMOTT looks around in confusion as Steph the Ref informs them the match is over. Riley and Jess shake their heads and beg for 5 more minutes, but Belle and Rivers are halfway up the rampway. WMOTT screams at the Darlings to come back to the ring, but The Champions refuse and say that they’re done with Riley and Jess. Rivers tells them that WMOTT will never get another title shot again, and Belle tells them to find a different division to disappoint. Riley and Jess begin to yell at the referee for letting this happen, but Steph just shrugs and exits the ring, leaving The World’s Most Okayish Tag Team to stew in their anger alone. WARHEAD WILLIAMS: What a disappointing ending to such a big-time tag team match-up for this company. K.T. ANDERSON: My favorite girls didn’t walk away with the belts, but I think this decision is probably best for my blood pressure. |

A wry grin creeps across her painted face, as she climbs up onto the apron. Dona steps through the ropes, making her way to mid-ring. The Toxic Knockout finally lets her eyes pan across the ringside area, before spitting a thick green mist skyward. Rotten cackles maniacally, and goes to her corner, to await the match's start. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And next... "Immigrant Song" by Led Zepplin plays, as the lights change different colors of green, gold, and brown. The music changes go into the first verse and out comes the 100 million-year-old rookie, RaptoЯ steps out from behind the curtain. He takes his first small step for Dino's and his one giant leap for Dino-kind! With that, he stomps out to the ring and raises his hands in self-hype as the fans cheer for him as well. One big step over the top rope, and he's in the center of the ring screaming "We're Back" before posing in the ring and letting his music die. VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing next... "Run Rabbit Run" by Rob Zombie plays through the sound system as Rebel came out of the curtain he walked down the ramp flipping everyone off. He walked up the stairs as he walked to the corner he stands there. VALENTINA LOVELACE: The next contestant... Trumpets blast throughout the arena as TANK by the Seatbelts play. The arena fills with cheers as Naoki Ojima makes his way out, accompanied by his father, Reo Ojima. Both sporting ONI jackets, Naoki waves to the crowd, but Reo stops him and points to the ring. They quickly make their way to the ring, and Naoki rolls inside and stands in the middle of the ring. Reo rolls in too and lights a cigar before they both raise their right hands in the air as streamers fill the ring. Stepping back Naoki takes his jacket off and tosses it outside while Reo ashes his cigar. VALENTINA LOVELACE: Now introducing... THIS IS NOT ENOUGH “All The Thing She Said” by Poppy plays and the arena lights flicker between pink and darkness while thick smoke fills the stage. As the beat kicks in, Karen Willow steps through the curtain - illuminated by a single spotlight - as she surveys the fans with narrowed eyes. The corners of her mouth slowly curl upwards before Karen saunters down the ramp. As she gets to ringside, Karen climbs through the ropes and paces around the ring like a caged animal, never taking her eyes off the opponent as the music fades out. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And finally As En Route To Mayhem by Apocalyptica plays, the music rolling out over the room, from the back emerges Kira Brooks, determination in her steps as she moves down the ramp towards the ring. She pauses at the ring steps to look out over the fans in attendance and she throws her hands up into a signal for them, a big smile on her pretty face. She pauses to wipe her boots on the apron before ducking between the ropes, lingering a bit before moving on into the ring, her expression focused and eager as she waits for the match to begin. As the six stand in the ring, about to begin the match, but suddenly “Control” by Halsey begins to play. Riley Savell and Jessica Anderson step out to the rampway, bandaged and bruised from the hard-hitting match they had just wrestled. Jess pulls out a microphone from thin air and begins to speak. JESSICA ANDERSON: We were just robbed of our DESTINY not 10 whole minutes ago… Riley takes the mic. RILEY SAVELL: We have proven numerous times we are the best tag team in this company, and the fact that The Indy Darlings were allowed to just walk out from a match that had no winner is bullshit beyond belief. Jessica shakes her hand as she is handed back the microphone. JESSICA ANDERSON: But that can all change here tonight. We just wrestled a match, but we know that there is a tag team briefcase somewhere up there. RILEY SAVELL: So we’re entering this match, and we will be walking away with that tag team briefcase, whether any of you like it or not. JESSICA ANDERSON: So make room everyone, we are coming down... and Indy Darlings make plans because we WILL be taking those titles from you one way or another!!! VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... NAOKI OJIMA HAS WON THE FINAL BRIEFCASE... THIS MATCH IS NOW OVER!!! PLEASE DIRECT YOUR ATTENTION TO THE STAGE AREA!!! Naoki walks up to the top of the ramp to join the other winners at the stage area as Valentina Lovelace stands next to a table. She motions to RaptoЯ to come up to the table. VALENTINA LOVELACE: Ladies and Gentlemen, as you know, in these four briefcases there are 3 treats and 1 trick. The three treats are guaranteed title matches that can be cashed in at any time, but are encouraged to be cashed in ahead of time for proper promotion! The trick is an exclusion from NVR World Title contention until the current champion, Lash Donohue, loses his title. Let's start the reveal with RaptoЯ since he was the first winner. A drum roll begins as RaptoЯ walks up to the table. He opens his briefcase and the words “NVR R!ZE CHAMPIONSHIP SHOT” can be read from inside of it. VALENTINA LOVELACE: RAPTOЯ HAS EARNED A NVR R!ZE CHAMPIONSHIP SHOT!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! RaptoЯ smirks in delight as he closes the briefcase and walks off. Valentina then motions for Kira to step forward. VALENTINA LOVELACE: Ms. Kira, please step forward and reveal your briefcase! The fans make a drumroll, as he opens the case. The case reveals an "NVR TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SHOT". Kira is just happy it isn’t the trick case and nods in approval as she looks into the camera with a smile. VALENTINA LOVELACE: KIRA BROOKS HAS EARNED A NVR TAG TEAM CHAMPI- Riley and Jessica shove their way to the table and point at Kira’s briefcase. RILEY SAVELL: TRADE THAT BRIEFCASE WITH US!!! Kira looks shocked… JESSICA ANDERSON: TRADE WITH US FOR THAT BRIEFCASE NOW!!! Kira starts to reject their offer, but Riley cuts her off before she can really say anything RILEY SAVELL: We came into this match looking for that briefcase. You aren’t even a tag team wrestler. Give us the briefcase, and take ours, so we can be on our way!!! Kira tries to mull it over, but she gets verbally steamrolled again by Jess this time. JESSICA ANDERSON: Look, there’s a 50% chance it could be the World Championship shot. Don’t you want that? A chance to get a title shot you’ll actually use versus holding on to this briefcase until you have a tag partner? Kira looks like she might take it, but again WMOTT keeps throwing words at her. RILEY SAVELL: OR WE CAN JUST JUMP YOU NOW, TAKE IT ANYWAYS, AND YOU DON’T GET A STUPID TITLE SHOT BRIEFCASE AT ALL!!! Kira just rolls her eyes and says fine, handing the tag team championship briefcase over for WMOTT’s mystery case. VALENTINA LOVELACE: A TRADE HAS BEEN MADE!!! JESSICA ANDERSON IS OFFICIALLY THE OWNER OF THE NVR TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SHOT BRIEFCASE!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! Jessica and Riley celebrate their briefcase win here, as Kira looks at her new briefcase with absolute fear. Naoki looks the complete opposite of Kira, with confidence beaming, because he has a good feeling about this. Riley and Jess stay in the background, watching to see if their hunch was correct that they had the trick briefcase. VALENTINA LOVELACE: Kira and Naoki, Since you two hold the last two briefcases, can you please open your Trick or Treat Briefcases at the same time? Please keep in mind that one of you will have the NVR World Title shot, and the other will be temporarily eliminated from NVR World Title contentions. Naoki, accompanied by his father Reo, asks him to hand him his briefcase. He sets the briefcase he won on the table and opens it to reveal a "TRICK". Kira sees this and her jaw drops. In the background, you can see WMOTT kicking themselves in the butt for giving up the World title shot, but they quickly calm down because they want the tag titles more. Kira opens her briefcase just to confirm and it certainly says “NVR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SHOT” VALENTINA LOVELACE: NAOKI OJIMA, YOU HAVE RECEIVED THE TRICK BRIEFCASE!!! THIS MEANS KIRA BROOKS HAS NOW EARNED A NVR WORLD TITLE SHOT!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! They look at it and Naoki throws the briefcase in frustration. Reo smacks him in the back of the head and insults him in Japanese. Kira almost looks like she could cry as she holds on to her briefcase tight! K.T. ANDERSON: RILEY AND JESS GOT A CASE, RAPTOЯ GOT A CASE, AND NEVADA BROOKS GOT A CASE!!! This is ALMOST as good as last year! ALMOST... WARHEAD WILLIAMS: Naoki Ojima looks beyond upset, and it’s certainly justifiable. However, congratulations to the three treat winners! I hope all three of them have successful and fair cash-ins! |

The music kicks through the PA as Kai steps through the curtain. He’s all smiles, but it’s just the calm before the storm. He pulls his mouthguard from his vest pocket and puts it in. The switch is flipped and Kai steps down the aisle quickly to the ring.
VALENTINA LOVELACE: "Coming down the aisle: From Jacksonville, FL; he weighs in 177 lbs, Kai URIGAAAAWAAAAA!!!"
Kai hops up onto the apron hard cam side, looks over his shoulder at his opponent, and enters the ring. Urigawa takes off his vest and falls into the corner, doing some last-minute stretching.
VALENTINA LOVELACE: And the champion...
TJS appears on the screen. Each letter fades in and out before the other appears as the intro plays. The lights dim slightly aside for a trio of lights which, you guessed it, shine TJS onto the roof of the building or down onto the ring. TJS appears from behind the curtain with his back to the crowd but spins to stand facing them, legs wide apart and embraces the crowd. Throwing out a t-shirt to one of the crowd members rampside earns him pop before he starts to walk down the ramp. TJS raises a finger, then sings with the crowd the opening lyrics to his theme.
Begin the day With a friendly voice A companion, unobtrusive Plays that song that's so elusive And the magic music makes your morning mood
TJS grabs the ropes with the small instrumental break and spins to hook the top rope and face the ramp.
Off on your way Hit the open road There is magic at your fingers For the spirit ever lingers Undemanding contact In your happy solitude
As that riff hits, TJS backflips into the ring and walks around the ring, the lights dimming down to an almost darkened state as the fans' screens light the arena with purple, pink, blue, and red bright screens. TJS then performs a running shooting star press and lands on his feet, pretending it was unseen but the house lights come back on bright just a second after he lands. TJS nods his head to the rest of the song. Even as it fades out, the loyal NVR fans sing it loud and proud with TJS conducting them with one hand.
VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH...
VIA PINFALL... AND STILL NVR R!ZE CHAMPION… TJS!!!
Teddy and Kai lay on the mat for a few moments from pure exhaustion. Steph the Ref pulls Teddy up and goes to raise his hand, but he just stumbles back into the ropes before she can hand him his belt. TJS takes a moment, throwing a weak arm in the air in celebration. Teddy sees Kai trying to get to his feet, and helps him up. At first, Kai pulls his arm away, but after seeing the sincerity in TJS’ eyes he goes to shake his ha- BOTH MEN ARE TAKEN DOWN!!!
K.T. ANDERSON: IS THAT WHO I THINK IT IS???
WARHEAD WILLIAMS: WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON???
Naoki and Reo Ojima have slid into the ring and hit chop blocks on Kai and Teddy. As Urigawa and TJS fall to the mat, the Ojimas drop down on them and begin to assault them with big strikes. Steph the Ref tries to get some help, but Reo chases her out of the ring. Naoki looks mixed about doing all of this, but still puts the boots to TJS and Kai every single time they move. The Ojimas throw their hands in the air and begin to raise Teddy’s R!ZE Championship when all of a sudden IMMIGRANT SONG BY LED ZEPPELIN BEGINS TO PLAY!!!
WARHEAD WILLIAMS: IS THAT...
K.T. ANDERSON: IT’S FUCKING RAPTOЯ!!!
RaptoЯ begins to run down the ramp too, newly won briefcase in hand, and he begins to drive the Ojimas out of the ring. He swings his briefcase at Naoki, clocking him in the head and sending him to the mat hard! RaptoЯ goes for a big roundhouse kick right into the head of Reo Ojima, but Reo ducks it and rolls to the outside. Reo pulls Naoki out of the ring before his son could take any more damage from the pissed-off RaptoЯ. The Ojimas curse RaptoЯ as they head their way to the back.
RaptoЯ pulls Kai and Teddy up to their feet. They all raise each other’s hands, but Urigawa is quick to roll out because things are getting too friendly in the ring right now. Teddy goes to shake RaptoЯ’s hand and goes in for an awkward bro-hug, but when he pulls away… RAPTOR PULLS HIM BACK IN FOR A CHOKESLAM!!! The crowd boos as RaptoЯ hands his newly won NVR R!ZE Briefcase. Steph the Ref accepts the briefcase and signals to start the match.
VALENTINA LOVELACE: RAPTOЯ IS CASHING IN HIS NVR R!ZE CHAMPIONSHIP OPPORTUNITY BRIEFCASE!!!
VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH...
VIA PINFALL... AND NEW NVR R!ZE CHAMPION… RAPTOЯ!!!
RaptoЯ rises to his feet and takes the NVR R!ZE Championship. He places a foot on Teddy’s body and raises his newly won title high in the air… to a chorus of boos. The fans are PISSED about what just happened, but I’m not sure if dinosaurs have ears, so he just tunes them all out. He looks down at the former champion and yells out that he’s waited millions of years to bring about the Fall of Man and the Rise of the Dinosaur. RaptoЯ leaves the ring and heads his way to the back, keeping his new title raised all the back there and getting booed out of the place.
K.T. ANDERSON: I FUCKING LOVE PRO WRESTLING!!!
WARHEAD WILLIAMS: DESPICABLE, DISRESPECTFUL, DISGUSTING, AND ANYTHING ELSE ANYONE COULD THINK OF. TEDDY DESERVED A FAIR FIGHT AND RAPTOЯ SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!

BACKSTAGE...
NVR World Champion, Lash Donohue, sits on a production crate in the backstage area. He's got his title belt in his hands and he's just staring at it. You can tell there's a sense of tension and anxiety as he continues his gaze on his title. He doesn't even look up when he begins to speak.
LASH DONOHUE: There's a chance tonight, that this is my last night as champion. There's a chance that my big year could come to a grinding halt here. There's a chance that I may walk away as less of a wrestler in the eyes of my fans and my foes.
A big sigh from Lash as his not-so-chipper tone speaks volumes.
LASH DONOHUE: There's a chance tonight, that this is my last night as champion, but it's no different than when I faced Naoki. It's no different than when I faced Diego or Corazon or whatever he's calling himself these days. It's no different than any other match I have ever had where I could or could not win, because Julianna DiMaria isn't some special generational talent... She's just like everyone else.
Lash looks up from his title belt finally, and instead of a look of dread, we see a look of determination.
LASH DONOHUE: You see, I reject your narrative that this whole world has been against you and that you've had to wait on the back burner for others here in NVR. You wanna know what being on the back burner is like? Literally, a year and one day ago, I was barred from challenging for the World Championship, and yet here I am as the World Champion. I had to build a whole other route by winning the R!ZE CHampionship, and even when I got my 5 defenses and Option C was eligible, still wasn't allowed to challenge. And when I was finally eligible to challenge for the World Championship, to face an old friend and rival of mine after my record-setting title reign, a different friend stabbed me in the back and the champion ran away with the world championship belt.
Shaking his head, you can tell there are still some unresolved feelings from this past spring with Rebel and Tapp screwing Lash over. Despite him proving everyone wrong and making his way to the top of the mountain, he was still looked at as a lesser wrestler and that was what drove him to this moment.
LASH DONOHUE: You were allowed to be a champion in this company. My sister held two titles in this company before I even held one. You were allowed to cash in your briefcase and stole a championship from Karen Willow. You haven't been put on a back burner, you just weren't good enough, and in my eyes, you're only here because people felt bad that some other company did you wrong. I earned EVERYTHING. I worked for EVERYTHING. You just looked at other people and want what we have without having to put in the work.
He throws his title over his shoulder.
LASH DONOHUE: And that's not a shot at your actual skill, Julianna. You are a great wrestler. You are the prototypical wrestler that everyone wants to be like, but that just drives my point in even more. You fought big names like Riley Savell, Tapp Addams, and Jacob Hammerstone and are held at that same echelon. I've wrestled all the same, and even as a world champion, I'm laughed at and considered to be a joke and a paper champion. I've always been seen as a jester and a paper champion, and that's fine with me because when I continue to shut people up and achieve my goals, it just means that they don't have the resolve that I do.
"And I think that's what this all really comes down to, Julianna. Do you have the same resolve I do? You have the talent, the support, the ability, but can you dig down deeper than I can? Can you put in the work that I have to walk out as the champion you feel so strongly that you deserve to be? Or are you another person who couldn't live up to the joke champion who shouldn't be here?"
"I'm not going to take you any more serious than I take other people. Your fake sob story doesn't move me. I'm still gonna do the Naruto butt poke thing, I'm still gonna jizz myself in the ring if you submit me, I'm still going to do all the silly things I do because I'm a joke, you're the punchline. If I'm a bad wrestler, then you're gonna look even worse than I do."
He drops off the crate and lands on his feet. He stands tall and proud, radiating his self-confidence and self-worth as he looks at his title one more time.
LASH DONOHUE: I am the well-deserved and well-earned NVR World Champion. I am "Trashy" Lash Donohue, and you're gonna have to take the trash out once and for all tonight if you're going to take this belt away... your narrative depends on it...
Lash winks at the camera and walks off to get ready for his main event match.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first, the challenger... “Deal with the Devil” hits the speakers as Julianna DiMaria appears on the stage, greeted by some boos from the fans in attendance. She ignores them and heads down to the ring with a confident, focused look on her face. Once she heads inside the ring, she cracks her knuckles, indicating she's ready to fight, and afterward does the "talk to the hand" gesture toward all the fans that are booing her, displaying another touch of arrogance to get the fans against her even more. She heads to her corner and scoffs at the reaction she's getting as the song fades and she waits for what's coming next. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And now, the champion... The arena plunges into darkness apart from a shimmering red strobe on the stage which moves in tune to the beat, there is a sudden explosion of fiery pyro, and Lash gets a warm reaction as he leaps out from the backstage area at the same time. Lash Donohue strides down the ramp confidently, his arms stretched out, slapping the hands which reach out to him. The fans get a lot more enthusiastic as Lash leaps up onto the barricade and shows off his agility. Lash reaches the end of the barricade wall and looks around, giving a somewhat cocky smirk as several flashbulbs go off while he leaps from the Wall to the ring apron, strikes his trademark pose, and 'skins the cat'. Lash Donohue ascends to the top rope and gestures for the crowd to get louder before jumping down and awaiting his opponent. VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... AND NEW NVR WORLD CHAMPION… JULIANNA DIMARIA!!! Julianna can’t help but cry as she sits up and is handed the NVR World Championship. There’s a mixed reaction to this, but that’s just a sign of a good wrestler. Julianna tries to stand to her feet as she hugs her newly won title, but she starts to stumble and the referee has to catch her. She gets her hand raised finally. Lash gets to his knees and slaps the mat in disappointment. He gets up and offers his hand to Julianna, and despite their differences, actually, just full on embrace. Lash raises Julianna’s hand before bowing to the crowd and then “bowing” out of the ring. Julianna continues to celebrate her victory here tonight. WARHEAD WILLIAMS: WE HAVE NOT ONE BUT TWO NEW CHAMPIONS HERE TONIGHT!!! K.T. ANDERSON: Yea, but I KNOW Tapp will return to take her fake title too, and if not, Kira will take her out and cash in any moment now!!! So I don't have to worry about seeing Julianna as Champ for too long! |
