STUDIO MERLOT
NAPA VALLEY, CA IN RING...The show kicks off with a shot of the ring. It’s decorated in black and gold, with balloons hanging from the ring post with gold streamers wrapped around the ring ropes. It isn’t long before ‘Watch Me’ by Jaden Smith begins to play ushering out none other than Ⓣ, dressed head to toe in a suit fit for a (Mad) King. He’s flanked by Freddie, Donnie, Mooney, and the group's newest addition, Adrianna Wilde. The group is greeted with a chorus of boos which they ignore as they make their way into the ring. Ⓣ‘s music fades and Mooney demands a microphone for his client. The crowd is rowdy enough, but as soon as the microphone hits Ⓣ’s hand, they become outright belligerent. This puts a smile on the former champ’s face as he brings the mic to his lips. Ⓣ: Ladies and gentlemen, WELCOME TO MY APPRECIATION NIIIIIIIGHT!!!!!! The crowd boos more. Ⓣ: You see this guys? This is why I didn’t want to have my appreciation night here in Napa Valley. These people aren’t cultured enough for an event like this. We should have streamed it live on Grapflix. But anyway! Let me introduce to you the GREATEST Group in professional wrestling today, STRONGHOLD. Let’s start with the man with a plan. No. The man with the bands. Mr. MoneyBags. The most capable manager in the entire business, Mo Mooney. Go on. Clap for the man. The audience boos again which is visibly starting to get to Ⓣ. Ⓣ: Whatever Mo. These people don’t know what you’re capable of. But in a few moments, they will. Thanks to you, not only does our newest member, Adrianna Wilde return to the ring here tonight, but she’ll be in the opening contest, competing for championship gold. And Adri is no stranger to high-pressure situations, let’s not forget about her performance in the Meraki Tournament Finals. She won obviously. Let’s hear it for her. Another wave of jeering. Ⓣ starts clenching his jaw. Ⓣ: Okaaaay. Moving on we have the best tag team in the business, quite possibly in the history of professional wrestling. The two men who put this group's name on the map early on. Two men who live and breathe Tag Team Wrestling. The Saviors of the Tag Rope, Donnie Prowler And Freddie Florentino. The boos are deafening now and Ⓣ has finally had enough. Ⓣ: ALRIGHT SHUT UP AND LISTEN! More boos. Ⓣ: It’s one thing to disrespect me while I’m trying to talk at my own appreciation night. But what you won’t do, is disrespect the people that I both love and support. The people that bring more to this company than anyone else in the back. I mean you’re lucky we’re even here, to begin with. We could leave right now. We could walk out and never come back is that what you want? “YES!” Chants fill the arena and Ⓣ begins leaning on the ropes screaming into the microphone. Ⓣ: TOO BAD! TOO BAD! TOO BAD! We’re here to stay. This is our company. We run things now. We call the shots. Because no one here can do what we do. No one here can keep up with us between these ropes. We’re honestly just on an entirely different level. “GAVIN BEAT YOU!!!”

“GAVIN BEAT YOU!!!” Ⓣ: Yeah and it’s the best thing he’s done in his entire career. Honestly, HE should be out here showing appreciation for me right now. I uplifted his career even by agreeing to a match with him. And he somehow managed to win? I’m sure the offers are pouring in for him now. Yeah- You know what? Gavin. Get your sorry ass out here right now, and show me some appreciation.” “Throne” by Bring Me The Horizon blared over the PA system and the capacity crowd went absolutely nuts. But thirty seconds passed by and there was no Gavin Grimes. Ⓣ and his crew all started to collectively laugh as the fans booed. Ⓣ is about to talk when the music cuts and a feed comes up on the big screen… It’s Gavin Grimes in the arena lobby!!! GAVIN GRIMES: What’s up Tappathy? I hope you don’t mind that little name I have for you. I think it kind of fits you. He let out a light laugh. GAVIN GRIMES: As for your little invite to come out there to celebrate you and show you some appreciation? I think I’m gonna have to take you up on that offer for another time. Because you see, I wanted to show you how much I appreciate you in other ways. The camera pans out a bit and we can now see that Gavin is standing in front of the Tapp merchandise booth. GAVIN GRIMES: Look at all the stuff we’ve got here. We have your newest T-shirt, we have some Tapp water, and even your chips! I can appreciate the grind, brother, I truly can. But I think these need some modifications. Ⓣ eyes bulge out of his head as Grimes starts messing around with his merch. He screams at Gavin on the screen telling him to get his dirty hands off of his belongings. GAVIN GRIMES: Now, now… Don’t overreact until I show you what I have in mind. Let’s start off with the stickers. Gavin looked at them and shook his head. GAVIN GRIMES: This needs to be thrown out, to be honest. He tossed the stickers in the trash. Gavin then grabbed a shirt and he starts to cut the sleeves off before cutting a line up each side. GAVIN GRIMES: Now that’s a damn shirt. Maybe it’ll fit your larger customers now since you refuse to make any 3XL shirts. That’s messed up, by the way. Ⓣ is leaning over the ropes now, pleading with Gavin to stop this, a look of desperation is painted on his face in place of his usual smug one. GAVIN GRIMES: Alright, let’s move on to the water and chips. Grimes opened up the water and took a sip before making a face at the taste. He then poured it into a cup on the table. He then picked up a tub of… GFuel!? Gavin opened it up and put some into the guava water and mixed it up. He then took a sip and grinned with a nod. GAVIN GRIMES: That’s some good quality H20. At this point Ⓣ is fuming. He unbuttons his suit jacket and clumsily takes it off, slinging it to the canvas. He points a finger at the screen and starts screaming incoherently, spit flying out of his mouth as he does. GAVIN GRIMES: Hold up, hold up! I ain’t done yet! He then opened up the bag of chips and took some Cholula sauce and put it on a chip before eating it. GAVIN GRIMES: Ayeeee! These bland chips just need a little flavor, bruh! I think I got it all fixed. Shit, we’re about to make a lot of money! Finally, Ⓣ’s had enough. He gathers up Mooney, Freddie, and Donnie then wishes Adrianna luck before rolling out of the ring. He grabs his jacket, slings it over his shoulder, and speed walks to the back before Gavin can do any more damage |

The lights fade as “I Hope You Suffer” by AFI breaks over the PA system, the entryway illuminated only by white strobes that flash in time to the drum beat. By the time Danny Havoc’s vocal begins, Adrianna Wilde is striding out through the entrance way and down the ramp; her pace slow, bouncy as she shakes out her arms and loosens up-her focus on the ring as she leisurely moves. By the time the chorus hits, Adri’s climbed the steps and towards the center of the apron; her lanky form climbing the middle rope, leaning back against the top as she finally leers out to the crowd-a sneer on her face as she gestures towards the crowd as she sings along to the chorus. It’s only when she’s satisfied with herself that she’s waving off the fans and allowing herself to roll back over the top rope and onto her feet, where she quickly claims a corner for herself as the music fades out. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And now, the champion... Izzy comes out of the curtain bumping to her music. She rips open her vest, throws her head back, and poses at the top of the ramp. She smiles and smirks with the fans chanting "Izzy, Izzy, Izzy". Upon reaching the threshold wear the ramp meets the ring mat, Izzy bites her lip, winks to the camera, and slides into the ring. She pops up to her feet and heads to the hard cam side of the ring. She slides her torso in between the top and middle rope. She smiles and throws her arms open forming the horns with her hands. Izzy's eyes widen and her smile looks a little more crazed. She pulls back and looks on at her opponent eager to get down. VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... AND STILL NVR WOMEN’S CHAMPION… IZZY VAN DOREN!!! Izzy gets the win and rolls out as Adrianna looks to Steph The Ref. The referee confirms it’s a three-count, and Wilde kicks the rope in protest. Izzy Van Doren is handed her titles and she places them on her shoulders. Adrianna yells out that Izzy didn’t beat her, but Izzy holds both her belts up as a retort. The crowd cheers for IVD as she makes her way to the back to prepare for her second match later tonight. WARHEAD WILLIAMS: What a debut by Adrianna Wilde, but Izzy Van Doren showing why she’s the Champ Champ here in her first defense of the night! K.T. ANDERSON: Adrianna Wilde just joined THE GRAPMASON himself and STRONGHOLD in getting FUCKED OVER BY NVR OFFICIALS!!! JUSTICE FOR ADRI!!! |

Backstage at Nevvy Pro's show, Mimi finds her buddy TJ watching a themed movie as it's early in the day. Mimi's casually chewing some blue bubblegum and peeks over his shoulder.
MIMI SMITH: That's the guy from Mr. Robot.
TJ turns to his friend, blissfully lost in the cinema but now completely taken out of it and turned into a blue bubblegum bubble Mimi blew, narrowly avoiding getting stuck.
TJS: Yeah but in this he's…
MIMI SMITH: Uh I haven't seen this one yet, TJ. Spoiling a movie isn't a very team-player thing to do.
Teddy gathered he wasn't going to be able to finish it so he closes it down and rests his hands on his knees.
TJS: Fair enough. You all recovered from that apron spot?
Mimi's eyebrows raise as she got a little concern from him. She looks over where she landed the worst and it's just her smooth skin there instead of any blue bruising mess.
MIMI SMITH: Yeah. I had one nasty bruise after it but I'm all good, all ready for…Revenge.
Mimi narrows her eyes in a sinister manner, but to Teddy it makes him chuckle.
MIMI SMITH: Don't laugh! I'm being serious.
TJS: Don't pull that face then. You can't do sinister. Its not on your list.
Mimi moves to point at him.
MIMI SMITH: Is so on my list. But let's not go down one of our MeemJS rabbit holes of randomness. We're teaming up and I still think our name should be Mighty Meems and Theodore Boy.
Teddy narrows his eyes; showing her how you do it.
TJS: Ah so it's a handicap match tonight?
MIMI SMITH: Ok, we won't use that name. What about…The Revengers.
Teddy gets up off the couch and starts stretching out his arms.
TJS: I don't think Caleb wants Kevin Feige coming here with a cease and desist order.
Mimi shifts her weight and folds her arms.
MIMI SMITH: Why is it doing all the coming up with the names and you're doing all the turning them down? Stop swiping left on my ideas, Teej.
Teddy then quips back with some passion to his tone.
TJS: We don't need to focus on names. We just need to show Jaime and Lyndsey that we may be laid-back people, but if you mess with us then we go all [Stranger Things Season 4 Episode 7 spoiler] on them.
The censored content made Mimi step back and put a hand up.
MIMI SMITH: Maybe that's a little too far…Maybe [Stranger Things Season 4 Episode 2 spoiler].
The censored content makes Teddy take a step back.
TJS: You might be right. They took away a world title shot, I guess I got a little heated.
MIMI SMITH: Maybe a little. But I like it.
She says encouraging him, but then Mimi snaps her fingers.
MIMI SMITH: That's our name. The Nevvy Pro Heat. Sportsy!
TJS: MIMI!
Mimi doesn't realize Teddy's narrowed his eyes again and turns around
MIMI SMITH: That's my name don't wear it out. And That's our team name, Theodore Jasper Saville.
She then heads over to the speaker to start playing some music and removed her ponytail to start getting herself ready. The music completely eclipses anything TJ tries to say to her but still, he goes with:
TJS: That's not my name.

The arena lights dim down, as a giant Red DT appears on the screen, placed so that it almost looks like an R. Suddenly, the silhouettes of two female faces appear on either side of the Double Trouble logo! PREPARE FOR TROUBLE!!!WE MAKE IT DOUBLE!!! TO LEAVE YOU IN OUR DEVASTATION!!!TO DEFEAT THE TEAMS WITHIN ALL NATIONS!!! I'M THE SUGAR AND SHE'S THE SPICE!!!

A giant CGI Meowth comes onto the screen. MEOWTH!!! THAT'S RIGHT!!!
All of the lights come back on as Double Trouble's music plays across the arena, Teddy and Mimi step out to the stage dressed in Pokemon Cosplays and doing their own "Team Rocket" pose before walking down the ramp! They hi-five and take pictures with the fans until they get to ringside, where they run and slide underneath the bottom rope. They do another Team Rocket-style pose, as their music fades away.
VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL… LYNDSY-JAMES AND JAMIE-LYNN… #RICHOEZ!!!
The Dople Twins explode in excitement of winning in their return match. They kick Teddy out of the ring, so they can be as obnoxious as they want, even making the referee raise their hands numerous times to show that they’re back and better than ever! Teddy and Mimi regroup outside, completely confused about where they went wrong. #RicHoez taunt their opponents as they head to the back, and Mimi almost slides into the ring and gets in a fight, but Teddy grabs her and convinces her otherwise!!!
WARHEAD WILLIAMS: THAT WASN’T THE LEGAL COMPETITOR!!! THIS MATCH SHOULDN’T HAVE ENDED THERE!!! JUNIOR OFFICIAL STEPHANIE LEDBETTER MADE THE WRONG CALL!!!

BACKSTAGE...
A man in plain black trunks and black boots walks down the corridor at The Studio Merlot. There is nothing significant about him. His build is not much of a professional wrestler; he’s not bulky or athletic-looking. You wouldn’t even know that the kid was a wrestler if he wasn’t wearing trunks. However, there is an aura around him, a certain confidence that he exudes that makes you believe he can kick your ass. Ladies and gentlemen: DJ Danger.
DJ DANGER: I’ve had my eye on NVR Wrestling for a while now. I’ve seen the talent here like Tapp Addams, Lash Donahue, Julianna DiMaria, Dani Davies - the list goes on and on - and I knew I wanted in on that action. Some might be watching me, coming in weighing about 200 pounds soaking wet with a name more fit for Coachella than pro wrestling and they wonder: What does this guy bring to the table?
Danger grabs the red towel over his neck and places it over his head.
DJ DANGER: I’m a second-generation athlete with more talent in one pinky than Chad the Dad has in his entire body. While he was off pushing swings and having tea parties with stuffed animals, I was getting stretched and beat up during training sessions with the best wrestlers in the world. While everyone focuses in on the name, I focus in on the work. Now maybe if we all play nice I’ll explain why I go by the name DJ Danger, but for now, I’m not in any mood to play.
Danger looks into the camera with a fierce intensity, a fire inside that is waiting to explode. His eyes tell of a story of a young man who wants nothing in the world but to burn it all down. And so he may,
DJ DANGER: Chad Kassidy, I hope you kissed your kids before you left Atlanta… because tonight Leighton and Paris become orphans.
With that, DJ walks past the cameraman to finish off preparations for his debut in NVR Wrestling!

KNOCK, KNOCK IT OUT THE BLOCK, DJ DJ Danger’s music plays as the lights start to go in and out with the beat. As the first verse of Action Bronson’s “Dmtri” begins to play, DJ shoots out of the curtain with his arms raised. He takes a look out to the crowd with a smile. DJ Danger begins to go down the ramp, smiling at the fans as he looks out around the arena. He takes a moment to soak in the atmosphere, before running up and sliding into the ring. The New Danger heads to the corner, climbs up to the middle rope, and poses for the fans before his music dies. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And his opponent... The words ‘Oooh he’s a Chad…’ clearly in Natalie Kassidy’s voice blare through the arena, before we break into the ‘He’s a Devil, He’s A Doll’ by Betty Hutton began to play… slowly on stage, Chad walks out accompanied by Natalie. The happy couple shares a quick kiss on stage before Chad takes her hand and the two begin to head down the ramp. VALENTINA LOVELACE: “Making his way to the ring from Atlanta, Georgia. He is accompanied by Natalie Kassidy… This… is… CHAD!” And Chad it was, soon he would lead Natalie up onto the apron where they kissed again before he sat on the rope like a gentleman to allow her entry. Then he followed her into the ring, joining her in the ring corner as he took off his cool Chad sunglasses and wrapped his arm around her… while they awaited the match to commence. VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... DJ DANGER!!! DJ pops up to his feet, being proud of his victory here. Natalie pulls her husband and hypes him up, but Chad is still pretty pissed he lost. Danger reaches through the ropes to offer his hand to Chad, but before Chad can even say “No”, DJ flips him off instead and goes into the ring to celebrate his win. Chad almost went back into the ring to fight DJ, but Natalie pulls him back and tells him it was okay! K.T. ANDERSON: BIG CHADDY COOL WAS ROBBED!! HE WAS CLEARLY ON THE ROPES!!! WARHEAD WILLIAMS: DJ Danger walks away victorious in his debut! |

TEEHEEHEEE!!! VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first... "Grease Paint and Monkey Brains" by White Zombie starts to play we see the lights dim down. After the intro we see Squiggly come out from the back sporting a pig mask with clown makeup smeared over it. A large oversized tie rests over his ring attire as he approaches the ramp. He pulls a match from behind his ear and strikes it before lighting his tie. Firecrackers begin popping as Squiggly begins to tremble, almost seizure-like. The smoke clears as Squiggly continues shaking his head, twitching, and shaking his arms as he heads towards the ring. Squiggly comes to the edge of the ring where he ditches his tie and rolls in under the ropes. He stands up before he begins circling the ring, looking out at the crowd. He rips the mask from his face and lets out a deep belly laugh as he twitches and scratches at his bald, tattooed head. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And his partner... ”THE BEAR WENT OVER THE MOUNTAIN TO SEE WHAT HE COULD SEE! THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN WAS ALL THAT HE COULD SEE!” The lights dim as the opening chords of the bear song start up. Binky walks out in a pair of Ray-Ban's, and a gold chain around his neck, led by his handler. Binky rises on his hind legs upon hearing the cheers and applause from the fans in attendance. He raises his right paw and seems to wave to the crowd before doing his bear jig and continuing down the ramp. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And now, making his way to the ring! A badass killing machine! He weighs 450 pounds! Hailing from WISHA MUTHAFUCKA WOODS! Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for BINKY THE BEAR!!! Binky climbs up the steel steps and then stands on his hindlegs, waving to everyone and posing before getting in the ring and running the ropes. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponents... The intro to Jaden Smith's smash hit "Icon" reverberates through the speakers as the crowd comes alive. The voice of Freddie Florentino can be heard over the first 10 seconds of the intro: FREDDIE FLORENTINO: GRAB YA TAG ROPE AND COUNT TO FUCK! STRONGHOLD IN THE MOTHERFUCKIN HOUSE… CABRÓNS!" The fans chant along with him. Once the song kicks in and the first "whoa" hits, Donnie Prower, with a STRONGHOLD flag in hand, and Freddie Florentino burst out from behind the curtain with Jaden Smith's flow guiding them out. "What you call an icon livin'? Start a record label, MSFTS just did it (Woo) Nylon cover, five minutes, whoa We up too hot in the business (Woo)" Freddie is vibing to the track, pumping his fist for every whoa and woo, while Donnie is already talkin' that shit to the front row, letting them know that they're about to sit in on an exhibition. Both men make their way down to the ring, turning their attention to the match at hand as they scale the turnbuckles. Freddie hunches over, lowering his sunglasses down the bridge of his nose and running his mouth as Donnie does the same while holding the STRONGHOLD flag open for all to see. They hop in the ring and begin to warm up with each other as they await the start of the match. VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... FREDDIE FLORENTINO AND DONNIE PROWER… STRONGHOLD!!! Binky is helped to the back as Donnie and Freddie celebrate getting the win. Squiggly giggles to himself, which is off-putting to STRONGHOLD, but they try not to give it any attention. The referee raises STRONGHOLD’s hands as the ring crew comes over to fix the broken ring rope for the next match. K.T. ANDERSON: STRONGHOLD is so good, they just put up a 7-star classic with a Squgga and Big Papa Bink. They are GOATed, Based, and anything else the kids might say these days!!! WARHEAD WILLIAMS: I’ve been in and have been calling combat sports for a long time, but I sincerely don’t believe I’ve ever seen a match like this in all those years. |

DURING THE BREAK...
KIRA BROOKS: I’m not here for a match tonight, but I’m very, very interested to see what happens in tonight’s main event. Izzy vs Izumi, for the NVR World Championship. It’s of supreme interest to me, and I’m sure you all know why.
She turns a brilliant smile to the camera, dressed very casually tonight with jeans, an Ethan Giles t-shirt, and some soft slouchy comfortable boots on, her hair done up like General Leia tonight with a braided crown woven into her dark hair. By her feet? That cherished briefcase of hers.
KIRA BROOKS: I’ve heard the whispers, you know. How little Kira Brooks wasn’t strong enough, wasn’t ready to win, the last time I faced Izzy Van Doren. As if IVD isn’t an entirely different sort of opponent when that tournament is going on! It’s like she grows a whole other gear, really. And that’s great. Because honestly you never know how someone will be in the ring until you face them. Watching vids, watching matches, it’s great for making notes and all that, but nothing replaces the real deal. I learned a ton from facing her.
A sharp nod, her smile coming back, just a little softer now. A roll of her shoulders and she turns back to the monitor she’s been watching the show on, and takes a deep breath, letting it out slowly.
KIRA BROOKS: Which is why I’m even more determined to grow, to improve, to be the best Nevada Brooks I can be, when the time comes. I hope that IVD wins tonight, no disrespect to Izumi. I hope she keeps winning until the time is right. Because I want to show her, and show all the NVR fans that while Kira Brooks may not have had what it took? Nevada Brooks one hundred percent does.
She gives a little wave then and heads out to watch the rest of the show from the ringside area.

ARE YOU READY???The lights dim down while the catchy, fast-paced rock of RAINBOWS by A9 echoes as a spotlight suddenly appears on a figure on the ramp, with their back turned, and begins kneeling. Once the beat finally kicks in, MYOJIN explodes with energy- wearing a masquerade-style mask over their eyes, and turns around with a confident smile on their face, raising their arms to soak in the positive reaction from everyone around.
With their blonde locks hanging over their face. They then whip their head back, flipping their hair out of their face before excitedly running down the ring before performing a cartwheel and a jump, landing on their feet near ringside!
They climb up to the apron, grabs a hold of the top rope, and slingshot themselves into the ring. MYOJIN performs a somersault roll, landing on their side with a hand on their hip. The others, took off their mask to reveal their piercing blue eye contacts. They toss it aside nonchalantly before climbing up the top turnbuckle, tilting their head upward as if he’s looking toward the sky- while the lights mimic stars above. They backflip off, back onto their feet while taking off their flamboyant coat and moving to their corner. The lights go back to normal as they check their wrist tape. their charismatic smile fading to a more focused expression as they pace back and forth, ready for action.
VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponent...
Dona slowly walks toward the ring, her focus squarely in front of her. She tunes out the fans, her mind lingering on the match at hand. Before she can go down the ramp towards the Anthony comes out behind her and cracks her from behind. Dona and Anthony begin to brawl on the stage. Dona nearly gets Cross with TOXIC MIS-NO!!! Anthony covers his face just in time and then clocks her in the face. Cross grabs the arm of Dona and pulls her in for a SPINEBUSTER ON THE STAGE!!!
Myojin shouts from the ring for someone to get into the with them and Cross obliges. He points at Myo and starts to walk down the ramp, BUT HERE COMES DONA!!! She jumps onto Enforcer's back. He hits a snapmare on Dona, but she comes running up with a big knee that sends Cross stumbling back up the ramp. Dona and Anthony continue to brawl up the ramp. Myo says they'll take on both of them if they just stop fighting for 2 seconds, but the two rivals can't hear the waiting wrestler. Security and officials start to file pit from the back area, but Enforcer shoves everyone out of the way, AND SPEARS DONA OFF THE STAGE!!! Dona and Anthony hit the ground in a heap as officials surround them and try to get them medical attention.
In the ring, Myojin looks frustrated and shocked. They call for a microphone as Cross and Rotten get pulled away.
MYOJIN: Well, I don’t know what that was all about… BUT I’M HERE NOW!!! SO SOMEBODY COME DOWN HERE AND WRESTLE ME!!!
The fans and Myojin stand with bated breath as they wait for someone to come to face them.
“Not Once, Not Ever, No Way” "I WON'T GO DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT! I WON'T GO DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT!"
VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing their opponent...
The crowd pops as the music kicks through the PA. The Black Ace steps through the curtain. He’s all smiles, but it’s just the calm before the storm. He pulls his mouthguard from his vest pocket and puts it in. The switch is flipped and Kai steps down the aisle quickly to the ring.
VALENTINE LOVELACE: "Coming down the aisle: From Jacksonville, FL; he weighs in 177 lbs, Kai URIGAAAAWAAAAA!!!"
Kai hops up onto the apron hard cam side, looks over his shoulder at his opponent, and enters the ring. Urigawa takes off his vest and falls into the corner, doing some last-minute stretching.
VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA SUBMISSION... MYOJIN!!!
Myojin celebrates their first win as they get their hand raised. They offer their hand to NVR’s Black Ace, and he begrudgingly accepts it before rolling out of the ring. Myojin looks out to the crowd, and cherishes the excitement of the fans when suddenly the lights go out! The big “OOOOHs” and “AAAAHs” from the fans fill Studio Merlot with tension when suddenly two spotlights come on. One centers on Myojin in the ring and the other focuses on LIAM VAUGHN STANDING IN THE RAFTERS!!!
Liam Vaughn looks down at Myojin, who tries to stare back despite the bright lights blinding them. The lights turn back off, and Liam Vaughn disappears, leaving Myojin with more questions than answers in a moment that was supposed to be pure celebration.
WARHEAD WILLIAMS: I don’t think Myojin has made any friends tonight, but he certainly has gotten the attention of the Rookie Liam Vaughn!!!
K.T. ANDERSON: IT’S VAUGHNGEANCE!!! MYOJIN IS LOOKING AT THE FACE OF VAUGHNGEANCE RIGHT THERE!!! |

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THIS MATCH IS A NUMBER ONE CONTENDER MATCH AND IT SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!! ONE FALL!!! VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first... The song plays for 15 seconds before Dax Levandrier steps through the curtains. He stands upon the stage and cranks his neck before bellowing out this almost primal yell. “DEFY YOU, TO THE DEATH WE DESERVE” He starts to hop back and forth on his feet until he starts stomping down the ramp. He doesn’t once look out to the crowd, his eyes laser-focused on the ring. Closing his eyes, he lets the screaming of his theme song fill his thoughts before opening his eyes and leaping onto the apron. He cleans his boots on the apron and steps through, walking toward the center of the ring. The hard cam zooms in on Dax as he madly stares through the lens, almost as if he’s peering through the souls of the audience watching at home. The song runs through the chorus once more and Dax walks his way toward the nearest rope, climbing onto the second turnbuckle. He finally looks out to the crowd and steps his right foot on the top turnbuckle before he flexes his massive arms, yelling out once again like a madman. He then does a 180 and hops off, staring blankly yet again, zoned in for his bout. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponent... "Immigrant Song" by Led Zepplin plays, as the lights change different colors of green, gold, and brown. The music changes, going into the first verse, and out comes the 100 million-year-old rookie, RaptoЯ steps out from behind the curtain. He takes his first small step for Dino's and his one giant leap for Dino-kind! With that, he stomps out to the ring and raises his hands in self-hype as the fans cheer for him as well. One big step over the top rope, and he's in the center of the ring screaming "We're Back" before posing in the ring and letting his music die. VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... AND NEW NUMBER ONE CONTENDER FOR THE NVR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP… DAX LEVANDRIER!!! It takes nearly 10 people to pull RaptoЯ out of the crater he created in the ring as Dax stands on his feet. The ring crew rushes to the ring to hurry up and fix the ring AGAIN, but Levandrier doesn’t care. He shouts to the crowd that his time is now and he’s going to break whoever holds the World Championship after tonight. Dax motions for the belt as the crowd cheers for the Leviathan. WARHEAD WILLIAMS: Dax Levandrier is a SCARY individual. Whether I’m Izzy Van Doren or Kira Izumi… I’d be afraid to face him in a few weeks at NVR Again! K.T. ANDERSON: I still hate his girlfriend… |

VAMOS DIEGO!!! VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first, the challenger... #1 by Nelly plays as the colors of the Mexican flag strobe all over the arena as Diego comes out of the curtains. He does a prayer to his mentor, and waves hello at the camera to his sister Daya. Diego starts to walk down to the ring and hi-fives as many fans as he can before he slides to the ring and gives a shout-out to the man upstairs before he warms up for his opponent and acknowledges the crowd. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And the champion... The upbeat, fast-paced tunes of Machine Gun Kelly’s pop-punk “Kiss Kiss” starts to play and Darby comes out from backstage with his usual carefree energy. Pausing he’ll glance around to study the crowd and then begin to make his way quickly. On his way to the ring he’ll try and barter and trade with fans along the ramp, looking to exchange any of the knick-knacks he might have picked up backstage (or who the hell knows where else). Sometimes he might be successful. Others he might come up empty. But eventually, he’ll turn his attention back to the task at hand, ascend the steel ring steps and then up the nearby turnbuckle post, flipping off the top turnbuckle and into the ring where he’ll find his way to his corner and (most likely) try and pickpocket the referee’s wallet on his way there. VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL… AND STILL NVR R!ZE CHAMPION… DARBY MACNAMARA!!! Darby grabs his belt and raises his shiny high in the air. Brody Howitzer slides into the ring and he begins to stomp Diego into a mud puddle. Darby shoves Brody, because he isn’t an apathetic monster, and Howitzer gets in the face of the champion. They begin to talk back and forth when Diego gets up and shoves Brody into Darby. Darby hits Brody and Diego follows up, but Diego and Darby now face off. Ring officials start to separate the three, but they all leave willingly. K.T. ANDERSON: I LOVE A GOOD CLUSTERFUCK FEUD!!! WARHEAD WILLIAMS: Brody Howitzer had no business being involved in this match! He ruined such a competitive match-up! |

The music builds up progressively, every chord that plays generating excitement and as the drums smash, outcomes No Homie in his signature Australian lucha mask and street blanket for a cape, beating his chest like King Kong and screaming “MAAAAAAAAAATE!!!” at the top of his lungs. The crowd of course responds with passion, as The Roofless One nods back at them in acknowledgment and removes the blanket from around his shoulders, throwing it to the crowd and marching to the ring in defiance. The homeless Australian was in the building... and he was drinking Hobo Juice. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And the champion... The intro to "Symbol of Nevermore" by Superjoint as the crowd gets to their feet. After a few moments, JD Driftwood bursts from the curtain. He waves his arms trying to get the fans hyped, pacing across the stage area and screaming "LET'S FUCKING GO". After a couple of minutes of hype, the verse hits, and he starts bouncing off the barricade, trying to mosh with fans as he makes his way to the ring. JD rolls to the center of the ring pop to his feet throw a middle finger in the air as the fans yell out with him “J F’N D”!!! VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA SUBMISSION... AND STILL NVR GOLDENWEIGHT CHAMPION… JD DRIFTWOOD!!! JD Driftwood takes a minute before he releases his submission hold. He stands up above No Homie and places a foot on his chest. Steph the Ref raises his hand and gives him his Goldenweight Championship as the fans boo JD Driftwood. He yells out "who is next" and raises his Goldenweight championship. K.T. ANDERSON: THE GOLDENWEIGHT CHAMPION PROVES HE IS WORTH HIS WEIGHT IN GOLD!!! WARHEAD WILLIAMS: I really hope No Homie is okay. JD Driftwood with a brutal title defense here tonight. |

He makes his way down the ramp and walks around the ring, along the way slapping the hands of fans and talking to the crowd. He makes his way into the ring and climbs up to the top turnbuckle where he does another cutthroat motion, sticking out his tongue and rolling his eyes into the back of his head, all undertaker-like. He drops down and squares up to his opponents, finishing it off. VALENTINA LOVELACE: And the champion... Izzy comes out of the curtain bumping to her music. She rips open her vest, throws her head back, and poses at the top of the ramp. She smiles and smirks with the fans chanting "Izzy, Izzy, Izzy". Upon reaching the threshold wear the ramp meets the ring mat, Izzy bites her lip, winks to the camera, and slides into the ring. She pops up to her feet and heads to the hard cam side of the ring. She slides her torso in between the top and middle rope. She smiles and throws her arms open forming the horns with her hands. Izzy's eyes widen and her smile looks a little more crazed. She pulls back and looks on at her opponent eager to get down. VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... AND STILL NVR WORLD CHAMPION… IZZY VAN DOREN!!! Izzy rolls to her knees and for the second time, tonight is handed both of her titles. She sets them down in front of her, as Kira Izumi starts to sit up. Izzy thanks Kira for such a great match and Izumi returns the sentiment as Sui Obata comes out and helps his partner out of the ring. Izzy muscles herself up to her feet and raises her championships up high. Suddenly, "Leather Rebel" by Judas Priest comes out and Brea Lombardi makes her way down to the ring, microphone, and Women’s Summit Block D trophy in her hand. She rolls into the ring and gets right into the face of the Champ Champ. BREA LOMBARDI: You know. I sat in the back last month after my match and watched you pull off the seemingly impossible. I watched you a few months ago as you ran through me and 23 other women and watched you pull off the seemingly impossible. I saw you over a year ago come back from a broken arm and watched you pull off the seemingly impossible. Everything you do in the confines of NVR Wrestling… is seemingly impossible. The fans cheer and Brea gives Izzy a bit of a golf clap. Izzy still seems on her guard but takes the series of compliments anyways. BREA LOMBARDI: AND HELL, you’ve proven to me not once, not twice, but on three separate occasions over the last year that BEATING you is seemingly impossible… but here’s the thing… Brea raises her Women’s Summit Block D Trophy. BREA LOMBARDI: I pulled off my own seemingly impossible feat at the Women’s Summit Block D Battle Royale when I outlasted 21 other women to earn myself one more shot at you and prove that once again I can do the seemingly impossible… BY CHALLENGING YOU NEXT MONTH!!! The crowd cheers and Izzy nods her head, already agreeing, but Brea puts up a finger. BREA LOMBARDI: I know you’re the Champ Champ now, and I know that you’d be willing to put both those titles on the line, but what I’m not going to do… is try and take away the hard-earned title shot Dax Levandrier just earned by throwing a fucking dinosaur through the ring… Brea points her Block D Trophy at the NVR Women’s Championship. BREA LOMBARDI: So at NVR Again, it’s going to be Izzy Van Doren vs Brea Lombardi for the NVR Women’s Championship for the FOURTH TIME!!! The crowd goes crazy as Lombardi and IVD stand there staring at each other. Izzy holds her title high and Brea continues to point at it with her Block D trophy. WARHEAD WILLIAMS: THE WORK OF THE CHAMP CHAMP IS NEVER DONE!!! Izzy will be defending both titles individually again, one against Dax Levandrier and one against her consistent rival over the last year and a half… Brea Lombardi!!! K.T. ANDERSON: Sounds like a good chance that we may after next month, we will see Izzy Van Doren NVR Again!!! HAHAHAHA!!! |
