BIOGRAPHY - Shouta Kuromiya was born in Namba, Osaka, Japan before their family moved to California in the late 90s.
Shouta when growing up was always interested in the world of combative sports. Mainly thanks to their family. The Kuromiya family was filled with a few generations of MMA fighters, including Shouta’s father. They grew up with a love for professional wrestling and both MMA, and instantly at a young age wanted to be like their predecessors. So of course, as they grew up, they trained at every chance they had and got into professional MMA. They also had an affinity for rock and metal, more specifically loving the styles and larger-than-life personalities most rockstars had.
Their career showed that they were a natural at the sport once they began their career at 18 years old, sporting a win-loss record of 12-4-1. They weren’t the absolute best, but they were a shining star in the light heavyweight division. They were known for being usually upbeat and also an arrogant hotshot at times, and loved to take all the spotlight. Something which earned them the nickname, Myojin- shining deity. After a while, however, Shouta recently had wanted to try something new. Something different.
As someone who loved pro wrestling, they wanted to become a wrestler. And their family still supported their decision, so they began to train and become ready. Using their liking for stage personas and music as inspiration, they created their wrestling persona- MYOJIN, a glamorous and flamboyant, over-the-top character that helped their stand out.
Not too long in the indies, they were considered a promising rookie in the business for their unique blend of high-flying acrobatics and technical ability. It didn’t take long for them to eventually find themself getting a chance to fight at high-profile promotions, like NVR Wrestling.
ENTRANCE MUSIC - Silhouette by PASTEL GHOST
ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION -
The compressed, 8-bit sounds of Silhouette by PASTEL GHOST reverbs throughout the arena as the lights dim. Purple, pink, and blue hues dance around and soak the audience in an ethereal aesthetic as the people in attendance raise the flashlights on their phones, mimicking a starfield. The Shining Star, MYŌJIN, emerges at the entrance, smirking as they take in the reactions- both good and bad. Taking their time to strut down the ring, eyes focused purely on the squared circle ahead.
They walk up the steel steps, climbing up their nearest turnbuckle. Standing up as they give a piercing stare to the many watching while vibrant magenta flashes past their face from the ceiling above as they nonchalantly cast off their bedazzled jacket and toss it aside.
MYŌJIN backflips off of the top rope, landing on their feet while smoothly backing up into their respective corner. Lowering themself as they run both hands through their hair before holding onto the ropes near them, tilting their head enigmatically with patience as they wait for the match to begin.

Pastel Ghost, you're sleeping
Saunter in the evening
You won't need me and it's just
I'm colder, I'm colder, I'm colder
They walk up the steel steps, climbing up their nearest turnbuckle. Standing up as they give a piercing stare to the many watching while vibrant magenta flashes past their face from the ceiling above as they nonchalantly cast off their bedazzled jacket and toss it aside.
Sit and wait on pale mist
Bury me in your kiss
You drown me in a whisper
I warned you, I warned you, I wanted you
Over and over and over
MYŌJIN backflips off of the top rope, landing on their feet while smoothly backing up into their respective corner.
