IN RING...
This Australian crowd is ON FIRE!!! Excited to be the first handful of people in a historic moment, they welcome NVR Wrestling to the Gold Coast with open arms. Signs, football-styled chants, and merch as far as the eye can see. Not that you can feel it, but even the barricade is buzzing from the number of people leaning and tapping on it, waiting for the show to start. As their cheers and chants reach a climax, we hear the all too familiar sounds of Meek Mill's "Ima Boss" as Caleb Jackson comes out to a huge pop. The fans reach out, trying to touch the President of NVR Wrestling, and he gladly embraces the crowd as he makes his way around and then into the ring.

CALEB JACKSON: WELCOME GOLD COAST, AUSTRALIA... FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER... TO NVR WRESTLING!!!

The fans pop for themselves as Pres. CJack continues.

CALEB JACKSON: It is so amazing to be here in front of all of you, especially since it's been over two years since we were supposed to be here originally.

The crowd boos Rona, as we all do.

CALEB JACKSON: But we're here tonight, and no matter what, WE'RE MAKING HISTORY TONIGHT!!!

The fans are so amped up they can't even let Caleb speak because they're so excited. He tries to get them to quiet down, but he's so glad to hear this reaction that he lets it continue for a bit. Once they finally quiet down, he continues.

CALEB JACKSON: I know you guys are excited! We all are too, so let's get down to the meat and potatoes of our show and talk abo-

DONNIE PROWER: Well…well…well!

The entire venue gets quiet as Caleb Jackson looks up to see where that voice came from. He looks up to see STRONGHOLD on the Titantron.

ON THE STRONGHOLD BUS...
We see Tapson Peace&Love, Adrianna Wilde, Freddie Florentino, and Donnie Prower sitting in a large sectional couch on the inside of their tour bus. Adrianna sits the farthest from the camera as Donnie and Freddie sit front and center with their NVR Tag Team Championships in their hands. Tapp has a self-made trophy that says "American Thunder Dome 2022 Winner" on it that he's flaunting with their tag titles too. They all put their gold into the camera, before setting it down and sneering into the camera.

DONNIE PROWER: If it ain’t the consequences of your own actions Mr. Jackson? Ya asked the wrong team to hold it down for you. Classics and candidates every single month. Every show in, we showed out but you sold. The OGs had them shouting, All Caps Graps but you wanted them tennis court atmospheres. When the scene was struggling the most, who's the team we told y’all to come see? But you went all in instead, ten toes down, and where did that take ya!?

A fiery Donnie then puts his arm around Freddie Florentino, proudly holding up the NVR Wrestling Tag Team Championship, and clinking his against Freddie’s.

DONNIE PROWER: It led ya straight back to us, Donnie Inevitable and Freddie Finality but we weren’t carrying anymore, charity days were done. We shut the whole scene down until there was no doubt left. You were desperate, we were getting fed. We were running it back, putting the food on our plates that you were letting everyone take a piece from. Ya had to throw the whole division in our way, STRONGHOLD conquered that shit. Twice. Now? We ain’t needing to make anymore…

Prower pauses in the moment, can be visibly seen biting on his bottom lip, and sucks in on his teeth. He side-eyes Tapp, his mood souring as he does. He then looks over at Adrianna Wilde, giving her a few reassuring fist bumps to her shoulder.

DONNIE PROWER: We don’t need to take any more unnecessary moments.

Peace&Love closes his eyes and sighs deeply, before returning his gaze to the camera, and picking up where Donnie left off, a hint of stress in his voice.

TAPSON PEACE&LOVE: Right. We don’t need to take any more moments. Because we ARE the moment. Take me for example. Everyone assumed Gavin got the absolute best of me. But I had bigger plans. I pulled the rug out from underneath all of you, and now I’ve got a shot at any championship I want. And if recent history is anything to go by, STRONGHOLD just might be looking for a new Belt Boy. Especially once our Girl Adri gets more into the mix. That’s why I brought her here. Because I know what she has to offer more than anyone. Adri wasted an entire contract on a company that didn’t appreciate her. I refuse to let that happen here. So the OGs, Adri, and I, we plan on staying here at the top for a while. You can either get with the program or let us get it for you.

They share a united scoff and laugh for a moment as Freddie Florentino steps forward, shades on, every strand of hair in place, man is looking like a million bucks.

FREDDIE FLORENTINO: …And that's on some savior shit.

A brash wink, he looks over his shoulder at his family for a moment before continuing on.

FREDDIE FLORENTINO: It don't matter what division you in, just know that we're lifting the standards like we always have. We're Ja in Memphis or Jack in Kentucky, we're puttin' this place on our BACKS, so count yourself lucky. I got my Gran Via glow on for a minute but I'm here now and, I'm well-rested, motivated and I got a fine ass woman who likes wearing my championship butt naked so I ain't bout to let any ol' pendejo take this title, OUR championships, away like that.

Another arrogant bloody grin as he rubs the center plate of his NVR Tag Team Championship. He reaches over and hooks his arm around Tapson for a moment as he continues to speak.

FREDDIE FLORENTINO: But like the GOAT said, we stay doing it all and we just can't stop. And if you still don't get it? Ponte las pilas… Get with it, boo. STRONGHOLD captain this ship now, so you'll go with Flo' too.

They all look to Adrianna Wilde, giving her a chance to speak, but she's a woman of few words, so she just looks at the camera and says...

ADRIANNA WILDE: Count it.

Back in the ring, Caleb Jackson looks a mix of frustrated and dumbfounded. The fans boo STRONGHOLD, but Caleb just stands there staring at the titantron, creating a bit of an awkward air in the Bazaar. Clearly someone in the production booth is about to get fired, because that wasn't supposed to happen. Saving face and letting the show go on, Caleb just kind of smiles and shrugs and looks out to the crowd.

CALEB JACKSON: I have no idea what to say after all that... and now I've lost where I was... SO LET'S JUST GET READY TO ENJOY SOME WRESTLING!!!

Caleb yells in excitement and the fans go crazy, because nobody likes an awkward silence. He bows to the fans and exits the ring so the first match of the night can start.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first...

The upbeat, fast-paced tunes of Machine Gun Kelly’s pop punk “Kiss Kiss” starts to play and Darby comes out from backstage with his usual carefree energy. Pausing he’ll glance around to study the crowd and begin to make his way quickly. On his way to the ring he’ll try and barter and trade with fans along the ramp, looking to exchange any nick-nacks he might have picked up backstage (or who the hell knows where else). Sometimes he might be successful. Others he might come up empty. But eventually, he’ll turn his attention back to the task at hand, ascend the steel ringsteps and then up the nearby turnbuckle post, flipping off the top turnbuckle and into the ring where he’ll find his way to his corner and (most likely) try and pickpocket the referee’s wallet on his way there.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing next…

Trumpets blast throughout the arena as TANK by the Seatbelts play. The arena fills with cheers as Naoki Ojima makes his way out. Sporting a Maximum Japan jacket, the rookie waves to the crowd as he quickly makes his way to the ring. Rolling inside Naoki stands in the middle of the ring and raises his right hand in the air as green and white streamers fill the ring. Stepping back Naoki takes his jacket off and tosses it outside.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: The next opponent…

KNOCK, KNOCK IT OUT THE BLOCK, DJ
KNOCK, KNOCK IT OUT THE BLOCK, DJ

DJ Danger’s music plays as the lights start to go in and out with the beat. As the first verse of Action Bronson’s “Dmtri” begins to play, DJ shoots out of the curtain with his arms raised. He takes a look out to the crowd with a smile. DJ Danger begins to go down the ramp, smiling at the fans as he looks out around the arena. He takes a moment to soak in the atmosphere, before running up and sliding into the ring. The New Danger heads to the corner, climbs up to the middle rope, and poses for the fans before his music dies.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Making their way to the ring…

The song plays for 15 seconds before Dax Levandrier steps through the curtains. He stands on the stage and cranks his own neck before bellowing out this almost primal yell.

“DEFY YOU, TO THE DEATH WE DESERVE”

He starts to hop back and forth on his feet until he starts stomping on down the ramp. He doesn’t once look out to the crowd, his eyes laser-focused on the ring. Closing his eyes, he lets the screaming of his theme song fill his thoughts before opening his eyes and leaping onto the apron. He cleans his boots on the apron and steps through, walking toward the center of the ring. The hard cam zooms in on Dax as he madly stares through the lens, almost as if he’s peering through the souls of the audience watching at home.

The song runs through the chorus once more and Dax walks his way toward the nearest rope, climbing onto the second turnbuckle. He finally looks out to the crowd and steps his right foot on the top turnbuckle before he flexes his massive arms, yelling out once again like a madman. He then does a 180 and hops off, staring blankly yet again, zoned in for his bout.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponent...

The tempo of "Journey to the Center of the Mind" would pick up gradually, as Brody makes his way to the top of the ramp and holding a kendo stick in the "This is my Boomstick!" pose, before pointing it at the crowd as he makes his way to the ring after some stagehand rolls out some red carpet for him to walk, as he enters the ring ready to make some art.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And finally...

“You Shook Me All Night Long” by AC/DC hits and the lights flash red and blue, signaling the arrival of everybody’s favorite hobo! The music builds up progressively, every chord that plays generating excitement and as the drums smash, outcomes No Homie in his signature Australian lucha mask and street blanket for a cape, beating his chest like King Kong and screaming “MAAAAAAAAAATE!!!” at the top of his lungs. The crowd of course responds with passion, as The Roofless One nods back at them in acknowledgement and removes the blanket from around his shoulders, throwing it to the crowd and marching to the ring in defiance. The homeless Australian was in the building... and he was drinking Hobo Juice.

Not entirely unheard of, but the crowd is FIRMLY behind the home(less)town hero of No Homie. He soaks in all the cheers, but it’s quickly turned to boos as Brody jumps him from beyond. This begins a whole chain of events. No Homie and Brody brawl out to the floor and DJ, Darby, and Naoki tries to take out Dax. It kinda looks like when Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man were fighting Thanos in Endgame. Darby goes high with a springboard knee strike, but Dax body drops him behind. Naoki runs up looking to tie up Dax, but Levandrier hits a spinning back fist that sends Ojima literally out of the ring. DJ Danger charges and Levandrier just boots him down. At ringside, it’s almost like the fans are helping No Homie, as Brody keeps trying to beat him up. They hand No Homie beers and warn him when Brody is about to sucker punch him numerous times. Sadly, they can’t help No Homie the entire time. After an eye poke, Brody follows up with a knee trembler and a neckbreaker on the hard ground. Brody hops the guardrail, curses a fan as he steals their chair, and stands on the barricade for a CHINKILL- NO HOMIE MOVES!!! The crowd erupts! No Homie gets to his feet, takes a big swig of Hobo Juice out of a flask from a fan, and delivers IT CAME FROM AUSTRALIA!!! THE CROWD COULDN’T BE HAPPIER!!! Back in the ring, DJ monkey flips Darby onto Da- DAX CATCHES DARBY, AND POWERBOMBS HIM ONTO DJ!!! Naoki comes running into the ring with a huge forearm that staggers Dax into the corner. Following up, Ojima hits a big splash into a TORNADO DD- NO!!! Dax keeps hold, but Naoki tries to lock in a guillotine to counter the counter. However, we have a triple counter here as Dax deadlifts Naoki up into a vertical suplex hold and down into THE LEVANDRIVER!!! Dax covers for the… 1… 2… NO HOMIE WITH A BIG 450 SAVE!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: NO HOMIE SAVES THE MATCH!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: DAX LEVANDRIER IS A FUCKING MONSTER!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: GET THEM DAX!!!

As Dax tries to get up, No Homie runs up and drills Levandrier with SOLELESS SURVIVOR!!! No Homie goes to cover him, NO!!! Brody comes from behind and throws No Homie out of the ring. Howitzer goes to cover Dax… 1… DAX PRESSES BRODY OFF OF HIM!!! Brody pulls DJ and Darby up and together they simultaneously hit TWO KNEE STRIKES AND A ROUNDHOUSE!!! Levandrier is moved out of the ring and now it’s Darby, DJ, and Brody circling the ring. Brody rakes the eyes of DJ and shoves him into the ropes, just to turn around and eat a straight jab right in the mouth by Darby. Howitzer grabs his face and Darby quickly goes for DIRTBIRD!!! DMac grabs the legs of the Silver Screen King for the… 1… 2… DE-KNEE-NO!!! Darby bails and releases the cover at the last second to avoid the knee strike. DJ and Darby trade strikes now, and DJ shoots behind MacNamara for a HUGE RELEASE GERMAN SU- DARBY LANDS ON HIS FEET!!! DJ Danger turns around just to eat a FAUGH A BALL- DE-KNEE-RO!!! Darby is down and DJ goes for the cover… 1… 2… Brody comes in and grabs DJ by the hair! Howitzer drags him over to the corner and throws him into the corner. Chop after chop, and Brody is making sure that it’s all “in frame” before running around the ring and drilling DJ with the BLOOPER HEE- DJ CATCHES HIM!!! EXPLODER SUPLEX INTO THE CORNER!!! DJ now returns the favor and drills Brody with a series of chops that quickly turn into a series of stomps into the corner. DJ hypes the crowd, looking for somebody to fight as Naoki Ojima re-enters the ring. They trade some strikes and the crowd “oohs” and “aahs” with every hit. Naoki gets the momentum going as he’s just drilling Danger with a series of forearms, BUT DJ DANGER CATCHES THE ARM INTO A COBRA CLUTCH… BACKBREAKER!!! DJ Folds Noaki in half for the pin and the… 1… 2… 3NO!!! BRODY WITH A SCHOOLBOY… 1… A HANDFUL OF TIGHTS NOW…. 2…. A FOOT ON THE ROPES NOW… 3-NO!!! DJ KICKS OUT!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: SO MANY NEAR FALLS BY SO MANY PEOPLE!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: THE ACTION IS JUST NON-STOP RIGHT NOW!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: SOMEBODY HAS GOT TO GIVE EVENTUALLY!!!

Everyone starts to get to their feet now as DJ and Brody brawl about the ring. Naoki, No Homie, and Darby are trading strikes in the center of the ring. No Homie goes to punch Darby, but Darby Matrix bends to evade and he ends up clocking Ojima instead. Superkick to the side No Homies leg now and Darby hits the ring ropes for a DOUBLE BLOCKBUSTER!!! Over on the ropes, Brody has DJ pinned. He goes to slap Danger, but DJ ducks it and dumps Brody over the top rope. DJ goes out with him and again they start to trade strikes. Back to the 3-Way, as Ojima is the first to rise to his feet and also the first to eat a WAXING MOON!!! The roundhouse sends him back to the ground. Darby hypes the crowd up as he goes to the corner for WIRED TO THE MOON!!! He covers Naoki for the… 1… 2… NO HOMIE GRABS UP DARBY!!! He drags him over to the center of the ring, looks to make sure he’s good to go, and delivers IT CAME FROM AUSTRALIA!!! THE AUSTRALIAN CROWD COUNTS WITH HIM FOR THE… 1… 2… DAX LEVANDRIER BREAKS IT UP!!! The Leviathan is back to 100% and he just tears everyone up. Naoki charges at him, and eats a big SPINNING URA NAGE BACKBREAKER!!! Darby tries to catch him with I’D RATHER BE- DARBY IS CAUGHT… F10!!! On the apron, completely unaware of the mayhem going on, we see Darby and Brody still brawling it out. Each strike nearly sends the other to the floor. DJ hits a shoot kick that buckles Howitzer’s knees and makes him drop to a kneeling position. DJ hooks the head and goes for a NORTHERN LIGHTS BO- BRODY WITH A FACE RAKE!!! DJ grabs his face and Brody quickly lifts him up for a DEATHKILL ON THE APRO- DAX HITS THE ROPES BOTH MEN GO FLYING AWKWARDLY OFF THE APRON TO THE FLOOR!!! Levandrier has the whole match to himself at this point. He’s looking for some to grab and starts heading towards Oji- NO HOMIE WITHA SOLELESS SURVIVOR!!! Dax is stunned and No Homie has his whole country behind him. He lights the 2x Everest Heavyweight Champion up with a series of strikes and tries to go for IT CAME FROM AU- DAX COUNTERS!!! Dax lifts No Homie up and goes to drill him with the LEVANDRI- LOW BLOW BY BRODY!!! Dax drops No Homie as he grabs his groin. Brody quickly grabs Dax by the head and delivers a WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT!!! Howitzer covers Levandrier for the… 1… 2… 3NO!!! TANK!!! NAOKI HITS BRODY WITH TANK!!! Ojima covers for the… 1… 2… 3!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... AND NEW #1 CONTENDER FOR THE NVR GOLDENWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP… NAOKI OJIMA!!!

Naoki is on his knees and he can't help but get teary-eyed, because now he will get a shot at the Goldenweight Championship in HIS home country. The crowd cheers for the babyface as he gets his hand raised. Darby and Dax both look frustrated as they head to the back. No Homie waits for the ring to clear to bow to his countrymen and enjoy the mo- BRODY FROM BEHI- DJ INTERCEPTS!!! DJ and Brody brawl for a bit, but Danger ends up yeeting Howitzer out for the ring with a huge German suplex. No Homie thanks DJ and together they share some Hobo Juice as the Aussies do a No Homie-themed Football/Soccer chant.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: Naoki Ojima has been on quite a tear lately, and now he is next in line for a title shot!

GEMMA MARCHAND: But what a showing from all these guys! No Homie using the home field advantage, DJ taking the fight to EVERYONE, Darby picking his spots whenever he saw them, Dax still needing numerous people to take him down… and Brody.

K.T. ANDERSON: I JUST WANT SOME HOBO JUICE!!! COME ON NO HOMIE, BE MY HOMIE!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first...

All of the lights go out in the arena, as the opening sirens of “Twisted” by Missio begin to play. Singular lights flash to the sound of the music as a lone spotlight points down on the stage. Suddenly we see a man repel down from the ceiling from the light, and land on the stage.

The lights all shoot on as we see Liam Vaughn standing on the stage. He saunters down to the ring, calm and uninterested in the fans around him. He takes his time until the chorus strikes up again, and he begins to run towards the hard-cam side of the ring, sliding across the ring apron and spinning himself through the ropes. Just as fast as his burst of energy came, it went away and he nonchalantly stumbles backward into a corner as he waits for the match to start.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponent...

ARE YOU READY???

The lights dim down while the catchy, fast-paced rock of RAINBOWS by A9 echoes as a spotlight suddenly appears on a figure on the ramp, with their back turned, and begins kneeling. Once the beat finally kicks in, MYOJIN explodes with energy- wearing a masquerade-style mask over their eyes, and turns around with a confident smile on their face, raising their arms to soak in the positive reaction from everyone around.

With their blonde locks hanging over their face. They then whip their head back, flipping their hair out of their face before excitedly running down the ring and performing a cartwheel and a jump, landing on their feet near ringside!

They climb up to the apron, grabs a hold of the top rope, and slingshot themselves into the ring. MYOJIN performs a somersault roll, landing on their side with a hand on their hip. The others, took off their mask to reveal their piercing blue eye contacts. They toss it aside nonchalantly before climbing up the top turnbuckle, tilting their head upward as if he’s looking toward the sky- while the lights mimic stars above. They backflip, back onto their feet while taking off their flamboyant coat and moving to their corner. The lights go back to normal as they check their wrist tape. their charismatic smile fading to a more focused expression as they pace back and forth, ready for action.

The match starts and the two wrestlers circle the ring cautiously. The Heavenly Star Kid and Chaotic Enigma just staring each other down. Myo and Vaughn spiral around the ring until finally, they both strike at the same time and simultaneously grab each other for a tie-up. The two wrestlers fight for position, nearly to a stalemate, but Myojin gets low enough to drive their opponent into the corner. Myo steps away, but Vaughn punches him in the face. The referee tries to separate them quickly, but the effort is in vain. Myo charges and lights Liam up with a series of strikes, but Vaughn is giving him it all right back. A forearm shoves Myojin backward, but Myo charges back- LIAM CATCHES THEM… BODYSLAM INTO THE TURNBUCKLES!!! Myo gets their feet stuck in the top turnbuckle, trapping themself in a Tree of Woe. Vaughn sees this and hits a RUNNING SHOULDER THRUST INTO THE CORNER!!! Myo falls on their head in a heap and Liam covers for the… 1… 2… MYOJIN ESCAPES!!! Myojin gets a bit of a comeback with a series of strikes. Liam hits a pump kick that stuns him and runs for a LARIAT- PASSION FLOWER!!! Myojin calls upon the fans as they head towards the ropes with a handspring into a DIVINE STAR PRE- NOBODY IS HOME!!! Liam gets to his feet and quickly lifts Myojin for a POWERBOMB!!! HE COVERS FOR THE… 1… 2… MYOJIN KICKS OUT!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: THE VAUGHNGEFUL ONE STRIKES AND NEARLY WALKS AWAY WITH THE WIN THERE!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: For a first-time meeting, these two know each other very well!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: It’s like two different sides of the same coin fighting here!!!

Liam and Myojin begin to trade strikes all over the ring. Big back suplex by Myojin and Vaughn scrambles to the ropes to get to his feet. Myojin charges, but they end up colliding with the ropes as Liam slithers to the apron and delivers a kick to Myo’s face. A slingshot front rolls into the ring and a cutter gives Vaughn the advantage here. Myojin stumbles around trying to collect themselves as Liam comes charging with a STIFF THRUST KICK!!! Myojin stumbles to the ropes now as he charges for a CROSSBO- MYOJIN BRIDGES THE TOP ROPE!!! Vaughn goes flying over the top rope and crashes to the floor as the fans rally around Myojin. The Star Kid takes their time, but as they watch Liam Vaughn get to his feet, Myojin runs to the corner and hits a TRIANGLE MOONSAULT!!! Neither wrestler gets up due to exhaustion. They struggle to get to their feet as the Jeff the Ref’s count gets closer to 10. Just as Myojin was about to slide in, LIAM PULLS HIM BACK OUT!!! He slams Myo’s head into the ring post and then onto the apron. Vaughn follows up with a series of strikes before sliding back into the ri- MYOJIN PULLS VAUGHN OUT NOW!!! Myojin lights Liam up now and sends him tumbling back into the ring with a roundhouse kick. As soon as they are both back on their feet, it’s like Vaughn has turned into a rabid animal. “All The Thing She Said” by Poppy plays and the arena lights flicker between pink and darkness while thick smoke fills the stage. As the beat kicks in, Karen Willow steps through the curtain - illuminated by a single spotlight - as she surveys the fans with narrowed eyes. The corners of her mouth slowly curl upwards before Karen saunters down the ramp. As she gets to the ringside, Karen climbs through the ropes and paces around the ring like a caged animal, never taking her eyes off the opponent as the music fades out.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponent...

Cher Lloyd’s “I Wish” featuring T.I. hits the speakers, paving the way for the arrival of Jessica Smith. She emerges through the curtain with a spring in her step and stops on the stage to raise her left index finger into the air. She yells out at the top of her lungs, like a form of battle cry, before beginning her descent down the ramp. Smiling from ear to ear, she swings her hips as though she’s modeling at New York Fashion Week.

Sauntering down to the ring, Jessica waves and smiles out to the crowd before finally reaching the end of the ramp. She climbs up the steps and hops around the ring post, then straddles the middle rope. She winks at the camera before slapping her backside, finally pulling the rest of her form inside the ring. There, she heads to one of the four posts and ascends to the middle turnbuckle, where she will perform her signature pose before hopping back down to get in some last-second stretches.

These two decorated veterans start the match slow. Circling the ring, Jess and Karen slowly close in on each other, but Karen explodes with a sucker punch. Somehow, someway, Jessica has scouted the random punch and lurches backward to avoid it. She stumbles into the ropes and bails to the outside, but here comes Karen through the ropes with a suicide dive! Karen goes to whip Jessica into the apron, but Jessica counters with a whip of her own into the barricade. Jess goes into the ring as Karen grabs her abdomen. Willow finally collects herself and slides back into the ring, just to get a dropkick in the face by Smith. Jessica yells in Karen’s face as she lifts Karen up for a BRAINBUSTER!!! Jessica leaps onto the turnbuckles and goes for a 450-NO!!! Karen rolls out of the way and hits FUCK IT!!! They roll around the ring drilling each other with rights and lefts. Literally fighting to get to their feet, Jessica catches Karen with a spinning heel kick that sends Willow into the corner. Jess charges with an ASS KISS- NO!!! Karen moves out of the way and goes for a WOLF FANG FI- JESS DUCKS!!! Smith boots Willow in the stomach and goes for STUNNED SILE- NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX!!! Karen skips the bridge to set up for PU'AR SAYS- JESS EVADES!!! She escapes to the outside and goes behind the ring post to avoid any suicide di- KAREN RUNS UP THE TURNBUCKLE ND DIVES OUT WITH VIVI’S BLESSING!!! BOTH WOMEN GO CRUMBLING DOWN TO THE MAT!!!

Slow to get to their feet, but fast to go to blows, they start to brawl all over the ringside area. STIFF right hand from The Fashion Mogul lands right on the button and Karen goes to a knee. Karen’s head is caught between the ring post and the stairs, with it nearly getting squashed like a grape. Jessica throws Karen back into the ring and she climbs the turnbuckle. Jessica Smith points to the crowd as she leaps off with SHOW STOP- NOBODY IS HOME!!! Last second, Karen moves in towards the corner and Jess eats shit. Smith stumbles to her feet, grabbing at her back, as she sees Karen get up and she charges with a-KAREN STOPS HER WITH A BIG BOOT!!! Jess is stunned and Karen catches her breath before hitting KAREN-CAN’T-RANA!!! Willow is fired up now as Jess crawls to the ropes for safety. Karen cocks her fist with an “OOOHWAAAA” before hitting WOLF FANG FIST!!! Karen did it! However, she did it too hard and Jess went stumbling out of the ropes! Willow drops to her knees for a second in frustration but quickly goes to the outside to collect her opponent. She starts to drag Jess up to her feet and tries to whip her into the ring, BUT JESS SHOVES HER INTO THE RING POST!!! Jess stumbles to the barricade and Karen drops to a knee, both trying to catch their breath. Jess staggers towards Karen, but Karen cracks her with a back elbow! Jess staggers grabbing her face, and Karen follows up with a series of punches that could knock out a UGP Heavyweight. Jess tries to bob and weave, but once she’s good and dazed, Karen goes to whip her towards the ring again- JESS BREAKS THE HOLD… THE SIDEKICK!!! Jess’ superkick lands perfect and now she tries to whip Karen towards the ri- KABOOM!!! Karen launches Jess down the ramp with an exploder suplex! Both women barely get to their feet before charging at each other again. They continue to fight up the ramp, unable to hear the referee count… 8… 9… 10!!!

For once, the fans don’t care that there was no clear winner as they watch Karen and Jess beat the crap out of each other. How this match got so heated and got to where it is now, nobody knows, but the fans are excited to see two of NVR’s most decorated wrestlers duke it out is exciting to them. Both wrestlers fight it all the way up the ramp and continue on through the apron! A few security guards run from the crowd to chase after them to make sure nobody gets hurt.

Backstage at NVR's latest event. Mimi Smith is enjoying the weather as she's in some tanned shorts, a black crop top and walking into her good friend TJS's locker room with their current snack attack food... subway sandwiches. She then pokes TJ in the back of his head with the sandwich.

TJS: What?

He stops viewing the video on his phone and turns around to Mimi.

MIMI SMITH: Oh I didn't know you were watching videos. Is that the one I sent you where the dog goes through the steps to sleeping on the bed.

TJS: No, Meems.

MIMI SMITH: Ok. Ok. Is it the one where the pizza gets cooked but they do all the super cool shots of it?

TJS: Meems. No.

TJS: Why don't I pay you for the sandwich?

TJ hands over what he owes Mimi for them.

The Game by Alyssa Reid begins to play in the arena and we see Mimi’s name flash on the screen. She darts out of the back in a pair of dark denim jeans with a loose hanging NVR shirt one size too big for her. Mimi gives the crowd a few nods and peels off the covering on her shirt that turns it from a standard NVR shirt into a “Mimi's NVR House” shirt before she walks down to the ring with her arms behind her back, skipping once she’s halfway down the ramp and ends with a perfect slide into the ring. Once she’s on her feet Mimi gives a little twirl to a pose where her feet are a shoulder's length apart and her hands flat out with a complimenting smirk to say "Come on".

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponent...

TJS appears on the screen. Each letter fades in and out before the other appears as the intro plays. The lights dim slightly aside for a trio of lights which, you guessed it, shine TJS onto the roof of the building or down onto the ring. TJS appears from behind the curtain with his back to the crowd but spins to stand facing them, legs wide apart, and embraces the crowd. Throwing out a t-shirt to one of the crowd members rampside earns him a pop before he starts to walk down the ramp. TJS raises a finger, then sings with the crowd the opening lyrics to his theme.

TJS grabs the ropes with the small instrumental break and spins to hook the top rope and face the ramp.

As that riff hits, TJS backflips into the ring and walks around the ring, the lights dimming down to an almost darkened state as the fans' screens light the arena with purple, pink, blue, and red bright screens. TJS then performs a running shooting star press and lands on his feet, pretending it was unseen but the house lights come back on bright just a second after he lands. TJS nods his head to the rest of the song. Even as it fades out, the loyal NVR fans sing it loud and proud with TJS conducting them with one hand.

Unlike most matches, we don’t see bitter rivals here, but very close friends. Teddy and Mimi start the match with a very rare handshake. Interestingly enough, they transition from handshakes into Rock/Paper/Scissors to determine whos going to get to start in the offensive position for grappling. Teddy wins the first with a paper-covers-rock, but Mimi catches him in the second round with a fake-out rock into scissors-cut-paper. We get a series of stalemates until Mimi finally catches Teddy with a tie-breaking rock-beats-scissors for the opportunity to get the offensive first. TJS, ever the sportsman, bows his head to allow the headlock… AND HERE WE GO!!! Mimi wrenches the side headlock, trying to wear him down, but he’s got a 6” height advantage, so Teddy starts to power out. Mimi outs more torque on the headlock, but Teddy just pops her up for the BLUE HARVEST BOMB!!! He covers for the… 1… 2… MIMI KICKS OUT!!! Mimi gets to her feet, but Teddy is done being Mr. Nice guy and hits a double ax handle on her back to drop her back down. Mimi starts to get scrappy and tries to take him down with one leg, but The Beefy Banana stuffs the takedown and quickly counts with the TJS SPECIAL!!! Another cover for the… 1… 2… MIMI AGAIN KICKS OUT!!! Teddy groans as he thought he had her there as he gets to his feet. He whips Mimi into the ropes and goes for a SPARTAN KI- MIMI SLIDES BENEATH HIM!!! Teddy turns around… MIMISIS OF S IS FOR STUNNER!!! The stunner stuns Teddy stunningly, as Mimi pops back up to her feet and delivers a PICK-N-MIX COMBO!!! Teddy seems to be out on his feet as ripcords him out for GET OVER- TEDDY POPS HER UP… BLU-RAY DRIVER!!! He quickly locks in THE TJS SPECIAL DELUXE!!! He has Mimi trapped in the center of the ring, but Mimi refuses to submit. She squirms and wiggles, trying to get Teddy to lose his grip. Right, when Mimi thinks all hope is lost, Teddy loses his grip and she’s able to scramble to the ropes for safety!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: Teddy JS looking VERY impressive right now against Mimi!

GEMMA MARCHAND: Are we not going to talk about how Mimi just fought out of submission despite a 200+lbs man sitting on her chest and holding one arm and a leg???

Mimi gets a bit of a comeback as she starts to catch Teddy with speedy strike after speedy strike. Teddy answers with a series of counterstrikes, but Mimi’s speed allows her to keep the advantage. She has him on the ropes and goes for another PICK-NO… RUSHPLEX!!! Mimi tried to catch him with a spinning back fist mid-combo, and he was able to scout it and slam Smith right in the center of the ring. Mimi tries to get up, but he catches her in a pumphandle and lifts her a few times before setting her on his shoulders and spinning with the TEDDY-GO-ROUND!!! As soon as Mimi hits the mat, a dizzy Teddy tries to grab her up for a Croc-Lock, but Mimi squirms too much so he transitions into a TEDDY-LOW-ROUND!!! From Airplane spin to UFO spin, Teddy begins to spin Mimi even more until he loses his grip. Both wrestlers are disoriented, but now Teddy grabs Mimi by the head and starts to hit FLOAT-OVER SUPLEX AFTER FLOAT-OVER SUPLEX!!! He continues this until he gets so disoriented he can’t throw Mimi anymore and he GOES FOR THE TAG!!! Wait, this isn’t a tag match? TJS spun around so much that he confused himself and went for a tag for some reason. He’s quick to recover from this mistake as soon as he realizes what happened, and goes for THAT ONE SLAM FROM BAND CAMP!!! He lays back on Mimi for the… 1… 2… MIMI COUNTERS WITH A CRUCIFIX PIN… 1… 2… TEDDY KICKS OUT!!! Mimi gets to her feet and goes for SHINY TEETH NO- TEDDY CATCHES HER!!! He flips her over his back for TJS ULTRA SPECIAL DE-NO!!! Mimi is able to slide down farther with a school-girl roll up… 1… 2… TEDDY KICKS OUT!!! He pops up to his feet, BUT SHE CATCHES HIM WITH SHINY TEETH NO MORE!!! He’s stunned and she brings him to the mat with a Thesz Press and a series of HELLBOWS!!! Mimi is fired up now as she gets to her feet and heads to the corner. She gets the crowd to clap with her as she charges for MA PAYCHECK!!! Mimi covers for the… 1… 2… 3!!!

She raises his hand and points to Teddy and the Aussie crowd cheers for friendship and sportsmanship!

The bright white lights from above slowly begin to dim throughout the building. The sounds of “Control” by Halsey begin playing over the speakers as other light sources begin to pulsate in rhythm with the opening tones. A bright white light shines from the entranceway as it begins to fill with smoke until a woman's silhouette is seen standing on the other side.

“They send me away to find them a fortune
A chest filled with diamonds and gold”

Slowly walking out from the back, Natalie Kassidy steps out into the open as a spotlight shines down on her. Stopping at the top of the ramp, she looks over the arena, slowly turning her head from left to right, taking in the scenery of the atmosphere for tonight’s event.

“I'm bigger than my body
I'm colder than this home
I'm meaner than my demons
I'm bigger than these bones”

Walking at the pace of the music, she slowly heads down the ramp, her eyes locked on the ring ahead and ignoring the fans on both sides of her.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: “Coming down to the ring at this time from Kassidy Studios, weighing in at one hundred twenty pounds and standing five feet, eight inches tall! She is a Business Icon… NATALIE KASSIDY!!!”

Once down to the ringside, she slides underneath the bottom rope and into the ring. Slowly, she pushes herself up to one knee, taking a brief moment to survey the ring before rising to her feet.

“And all the kids cried out, "Please stop, you're scaring me"
I can't help this awful energy
God damn right, you should be scared of me
Who is in control?”

She slowly walks around the ring aside the ropes, a single hand dragging across the top rope. Approaching the corner, she stands in front of it for just a short moment before grabbing onto each top rope on the sides of the corner. Pulling herself up, she stands on the middle rope, overlooking the crowd as her music slowly begins to fade out.

Classic Man Remix by Jidenna (feat. Kendrick Lamar) hits the PA system, and the lights fade to red. At the top of the stage, sparkler pyres go off and as the chorus hits, they shoot off white, as red confetti shoots into the air, and out comes Tapson Peace&Love. The REALEST Wrestler walks down the ramp ignoring the fans and focusing on the match ahead. Tapp slides into the ring on his stomach and slaps the canvas three times before hopping up. He "Runs the ropes" and arrogantly poses in the center of the ring by kissing his hands and spreading them out into the air as his music fades out.

A lot of bickering to start the match. Natalie and Tapp do not like each other, and Tapp's cohorts just took the tag titles from Natalie, so she's ready to get an ounce of payback out of kicking Tapp's ass. She charges, trying for a bug kick, but Tapp shoots behind and hits a stiff German suplex into a bridge… 1… Talie kicks out almost instantly and starts to throw a couple of elbows as he tries to grapple her again. A good foot stomp followed by a knee strike and a forearm smash puts Natalie in the driver's seat. She uses her long limbs to keep Tapson at bay, tripping him up with a fakeout roundhouse into a leg sweep. She grabs him by the legs and goes to lock in THE NATLOCK- NO! Tapp grabs Natalie's hair as she tries to lock in the cloverleaf and begins to punch her until she lets go. Natalie tries to keep her momentum with a BIG NAT BOOT- NO!!! Tapson rolls out of the way just in time. Natalie reaches out to grab Tapp, but he hits AN ARM DRAG!!! AND ANOTHER!!! AND ANOTHER!!! Natalie tries to get to her feet as Tapson rushes her for a Belly-to-Belly Su-BELL CLAP!!! Tap grabs his ears as Natalie Kassidy spins around with LEIGHTON’S LEG LARIAT!!! With Tapson Peace&Love down on the mat, Natalie quickly grabs his legs and locks in THE NATLOCK!!! The Artist formerly known as
Sub Masta T looks shocked as he finds himself trapped in a submission in the center of the ring. Natalie tells Tapp to tap, expertly sitting back on the cloverleaf and wrenching the back even more. Tapp starts to punch Natalie in the knee until she starts to buckle and he is able to get himself free of the submission!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: NATALIE HAS DONE IT IN THE PAST AND I BELIEVE SHE WILL DO IT AGAIN RIGHT HERE!!!

That Sweet Summer Child, Warhead Williams, spoke too soon! As momentum goes back and forth between these two former champions, Tapson starts to get a bit frustrated and gets a little reckless. Tapp throws a shoulder into Natalie and transitions into a NORTHERN LIGHTS SU- GUILLOTINE CHOKE BY NATALIE KASSIDY!!! Natalie has the same submission she choked Tapp out with 8 months ago in CCW! Tapp tries to keep his base, but you can see him fade AS ICON BY JADEN SMITH BEGINS TO PLAY!!! All of STRONGHOLD comes running down to the ring! Steph the Ref tries to keep them off the apron, but they pop right back up to the apron as soon as she turns her back. The intro to "Don't Stop" by 5 Seconds of Summer begins to play as the studio lights go down and the spotlights point to the stage area. Within a few seconds, Bree Smith struts out from behind the correct and she does a few signature poses on the stage. As Luke Hemmings and the rest of 5SoS yell out the chorus, Bree kicks it into high gear, jogging down the ramp, high-fiving as many fans as she can as she goes down to and around the ring. Once she's made it all the way around the ring once, she rolls into it and flexes. Everyone cheers for the Breehemoth as she backs into the corner.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And now, the champion...

The opening riffs of Leather Rebel play, as Brea struts out and posed on the top of the ramp. She flashed some devil horns and headbands briefly, before moving down the ramp and joining in with some fans, and climbing up the apron. She does a standing split, before rolling under the bottom rope and kipping up, before posing for the crowd as her theme fades.

As soon as the bell rings, the champion starts zooming through the ring. She knows her challenger has a size advantage, but she’s got the speed. Brea starts landing some swift and stiff strikes, trying to take Bree off her feet. Lombardi starts booting the back of Smith’s legs, trying to weaken her base. A stiff boot to the side of the knee gets Bree to kneel, but now Brea is trying to knock her down completely. She hits the ropes one more time… BREE POUNCES BREA!!! Lombardi is launched as Smith just runs through her with an explosive shoulder tackle. The Champion scrambles, trying to get to her feet, but here comes Bree with some clubbing blows. Bree goes to grab Brea from behind, maybe looking for The Power of Bree, but Lombardi hits a jawbreaker that stuns Bree! Brea turns around and starts to light Smith up with a series of chops. As Bree staggers backward, Brea hits the ropes into a springboard Moonsault and into a TORNADO (DDT) OF SOULS!!! Brea hypes the crowd up as she goes for a MOSH ROOM STO-NO! Bree starts to stand up before Lombardi can get her diving stomp in, so Brea changes up with a STAGE DI- SHE’S CAUGHT… POWERBOMB… AND A SLIDING LARIAT!!! The Powerboom lands perfectly for Bree Smith here. The challenger stalks the champion, as she pops her up on her shoulders for a BREELECTRIC CHAIR DRIVER!!! She covers for the… 1… 2… BREA STAYS IN IT WITH A KICK OUT!!!

Lombardi tries to mount so offense, but as she fights for her moment, Bree squashes all of it with not one, Not Two, BUT THREE GERMAN SUPLEXES!!! That Power of Bree combo has the challenger in an advantageous position as she pops Lombardi up for the BREE SHO- CUTTER BY BREA!!! Brea sits up and she throws up some devil horns, showing the fans she has signs of life. Bree gets up and starts throwing wild punches, trying to take down Brea before she can get a comeback going, but Lombardi ducks one of the haymakers and wraps her up with AM I KNEEVIL!!! Smith is rocked as she falls to her hands and knees, and Brea picks a leg up for a GUILLOTINE LEG DROP!!! She drops that leg right across Bree’s head and covers her for the… 1… 2… BREE POWERS OUT!!! Brea brings her opponent up to a knee and hooks the arms of Bree for SYMPHONY FOR DESTR- BACK BODY DROP!!! Brea is able to land on her feet, and as Bree turns around, she maintains her momentum with a modified AM I KNEEVIL!!! Smith is dropped to a knee and Lombardi points to the top rope. As Brea lies on the mat, The Doples turn around and start to attack Bree Smith now. They just stomp away at the Breehemoth. They take the women’s championship and claim it as their own. The crowd is BOOING, as they pick up Brea Lombardi and hit her with PETTY IN PINK!!! They pull Bree up now and go to hit her WHEN VALHALLA BY BLIND GUARDIAN BEGINS TO PLAY!!!

HUGE POP AS THE AUSTRALIAN BEHEMOTH, DANA ALANS, RUNS OUT!!! Dana Alans slides into the ring and hits Jamie-Lynn with RIDE THE LIGHTNING!!! Lyndsy-James comes charging at Dana with the REARVI- SHE GETS POPPED UP FOR BEHEMOTH’S WRATH!!! #RicHoez rolls out of the ring, trying to collect themselves and save face. Dana picks up Bree and they shake hands, as Brea grabs her Women’s Championship and raises it high in the air. Brea and Dana both give each other’s devil horns as a show of respect. The crowd is loving the hometown hero/Baehemoths team-up/Heavy Metal hook-up thing going on here as all three women celebrate in the ring.

The scene cuts backstage as Naoki Ojima makes his way down a hallway leading away from the arena entrance. Still dressed in his wrestling gear, Naoki has still some pep in his step as he’s light on his feet and claps his hands together, celebrating his big win. Making his way up to the camera, Naoki gives a big smile as takes a moment to rest. While he sits, he addresses the camera in English.

NAOKI OJIMA: It’s good to be back in an NVR ring. Always a great place to wrestle with talent that’s unique and challenging. Everyone pushes me here and that’s what I need to be successful in this industry. Tonight’s match did just that. A six-way battle where the winner gets a shot at the Goldenweight Championship, and thankfully I was able to come out on top. A lot of bodies and everyone is bringing in their own experience and their own talents. It was complete chaos in that ring, but I let my instincts and years of training lead me to victory. Now I'll go on to Japan to face JD and become the new Goldenweight Champion, or at least put on a good show1 So, get ready! Get set! Let’s GO GO GO!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first, the challenger...

The words ‘Oooh he’s a Chad…’ clearly in Natalie Kassidy’s voice blare through the arena before we break into the ‘He’s a Devil, He’s A Doll’ by Betty Hutton begins to play… slowly on stage, Chad walks out accompanied by Thad Kassidy. The happy brothers share a quick pose on stage before the two begin to head down the ramp.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: “Making his way to the ring from Atlanta, Georgia. He is accompanied by Thad Kassidy… This… is… CHAD!”

And Chad it was, soon he would lead Thad up onto the apron where they would high-five before Thad sat on the rope like a gentleman to allow Chad entry. Then he followed Chad into the ring, joining him in the ring corner as he took off his cool Chad sunglasses and hyped Chad up… while they awaited the match to commence.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And now, the champion...

The intro to "Symbol of Nevermore" by Superjoint as the crowd gets to their feet. After a few moments, JD Driftwood bursts from the curtain. He waves his arms trying to get the fans hyped, pacing across the stage area and screaming "LET'S FUCKING GO". After a couple of minutes of hype, the verse hits, and he starts bouncing off the barricade, trying to mosh with fans as he makes his way to the ring. JD rolls to the center of the ring pop to his feet throw a middle finger in the air as the fans yell out with him “J F’N D”!!!

Bell rings and J F'N D comes barreling at Chad. Throwing heavy strikes, he's trying to knock the challenger out right out of the gate, but Chad Kassidy is too crafty. He rolls away and avoids Driftwood like the plague, but Driftwood finally corners him and starts to land haymaker after haymaker. Thad pops up on the apron to distract JD. JD spins around and creams him with a modified PEZ DISPENSER!!! The Goldenweight Champion shouts as he tries to get the crowd behind him, but he takes too much time playing to them and doesn't see Chad position himself on the turnbuckles. When JD goes back to Kassidy, Chad leaps off with a big EUROPEAN UPPERCUT!!! Chad hits the ropes and goes for SUPER CHAD PU-Driftwood sidesteps and hits BUSCH GARDENS!!! He covers for the… 1… 2… CHAD KICKS OUT!!! JD gets on top of Chad and tries to hit some hammer fists, but Kassidy is able to maneuver out of the mount. Chad books it away from JD, but Driftwood grabs Chad by the trunks and pulls him in for the DIMEBAG DR- CHAD ROLLS OVER JD'S SHOULDER!!! Driftwood turns around and eats a BIG CHAD BOOT!!! Both men stumble back into the ropes and Chad delivers ANOTHER BIG CHAD BOOT!!! Driftwood tries to keep his balance, but it's clear the lights are on and no one is home. Capitalizing on this, Chad hits the ropes and hits A THIRD BIG CHAD BOOT!!! Driftwood hits the mat hard and Chad covers for the… 1… 2… JD PRESSES OUT!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: THREE BOOTS TO THE HEAD NEARLY GIVES US A NEW CHAMPION!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: HOW DO YOU EVEN KICK OUT AFTER SOMETHING LIKE THAT???

K.T. ANDERSON: JD DRIFTWOOD IS A FUCKING MACHINE!!!

Chad starts to lose his momentum as JD Driftwood lands a massive punch to the gut while Kassidy comes off the middle turnbuckle for a diving Bionic Elbow. JD starts slamming his forearm into the back of Chad and lifts him for a PSYCHO HOLIDAY!!! JD covers to retain with a… 1… 2… THAD PULLS CHAD OUT OF THE RING!!! Thad is helping Chad get to his feet as JD hits the ropes and leaps out of the ring with a TOPE CON HILO!!! Chad gets away in time and Thad takes all 300lbs of the Goldenweight Champion by his lonesome. Driftwood pops up to his feet, hypes up the fans, and EATS A SUPER CHAD PUNCH!!! Chad rolls JD into the ring and covers him… 1… 2… DRIFTWOOD GETS THE SHOULDER UP!!! Chad keeps assaulting JD trying to prevent him from getting up. Finally, when he thinks he's got a shot at knocking off the champion, Chad comes running up on the JD and goes for another BIG CHAD BO- JD POPS HIM UP FOR A BUCKLE BOMB!!! Chad Kassidy can barely hold himself up as JD steps onto the ropes and starts punching Chad in the head 10 times as the fans chant. Finally, the referee pulls Driftwood off the turnbuckles to get JD away from Chad. Chad slides out and throws Thad into the ring while the referee is busy berating Driftwood. Thad begs for mercy from Chad, but it’s too late, JD grabs him by the hair and locks in NOW SAY GOODNIGHT!!! Thad fights it, almost trying to alert that referee that it wasn’t Chad, but Driftwood keeps the hold nice and tight and Thad TAPS OUT!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA SUBMISSION... AND STILL NVR GOLDENWEIGHT CHAMPION… JD DRIFTWOOD!!!

JD boots Thad out of the ring, only taking a second to look at Thad and realize that he had the wrong guy, but he didn’t care too much. He got his hand raised and his pound of flesh, so he was happy. Chad pulls Thad up and tells him he did a good job, and Thad puts a thumb up signaling he survived. JD laughs as he raises his championship high in the air and calls for a microphone.

JD DRIFTWOOD: NAOKI OJIMA!!!

The fans cheer for Naoki.

JD DRIFTWOOD: I saw you win that little scramble. I saw you win a shot at Redneck Kaiju, JD Driftwood.

JD looks at his title and smiles.

JD DRIFTWOOD: And I know we’re heading to your neck of the woods in a few weeks, so I just got one thing to tell you, Ojima.

He pauses for a moment, waiting for the boos to simmer down.

JD DRIFTWOOD: I hope your old man is there. I hope your brother is there. I hope your momma is there. I hope all of your Oni buddies and your little friends from home are there. I hope everyone you love is in attendance… BECAUSE IMMA BEAT THE STRAIGHT PISS OUT OF YOU AND EMBARRASS YOU IN JAPAN, SON!!!

JD drops the microphone and starts to head up the ramp. Fans boo JD as he flips them off and raises his title, telling him that everyone ends up getting their asses beat by the Redneck Kaiju.

GEMMA MARCHAND: Strong words from the champion, but is anyone else convinced that he pinned the wrong guy?

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: I thought I caught that too, but I trust Junior Official Stephanie Ledbetter with her decision.

Somewhere in the back of Studio Merlot, we find some weird lights and even weirder wrestlers as we close in on Squiggly the Clown and Binky the Bear. Squiggly has his rubber chicken in hand and seems to be pointing it back and forth between him and his tag team partner. We can hear Binky groan and pop his maw as if talking to Squiggly, and Squiggly nods and squeaks the rubber chicken in response to him. Finally, Squiggly and Binky realize the camera is getting closer and they turn to it.

SQUIGGLY THE CLOWN: TONIGHT, WE SHOCK THE WORLD!!!

Squiggly spreads his hands apart as if motioning to the entire world.

SQUIGGLY THE CLOWN: Big Papa Bink and The Head Clown in Charge walk into this match as the underdogs, but we'll come out with everyone else under us... dog!

Binky pops his maw and Squiggly looks at his furry friends.

SQUIGGLY THE CLOWN: I appreciate that, man!

Binky nods and Squiggly continues to speak.

SQUIGGLY THE CLOWN: I know we're some funny guys, but tonight is no joke. We've heard the comments STRONGHOLD has said about us. We know what you all say under your breath when you hear our music play. We know we're getting overlooked by every single one of you because he's a bear and I'm a clown, BUT HERE'S THE SETUP...

Squiggly waves a finger between the two of them and smiles.

SQUIGGLY THE CLOWN: We are no strangers to championship gold! I'm a former NVR R!ZE Champion and I had to beat 2 former World Champions to get it. Binky is the Undisputed 15lbs of Gold and Toku-Gun winner, that's a world and galactic title to his fuzzy-wuzzy name, not to mention he's one of the most easily recognizable wrestlers and most talked about wrestlers of all time AND HE ONLY WRESTLES FOR HALF THE YEAR MOST THE TIME!!!

Binky stands up to a menacing 7ft and roars a few times. Squiggly squeaks his rubber chicken as if it just translated what Binky said to him.

SQUIGGLY THE CLOWN: Binky says I'm damn right, and that when we're done with Donnie and Freddie, we're gonna take the STRAPS from ALL CAPS GRAPS!!!

Squiggly pats Binky on the stomach and smiles.

SQUIGGLY THE CLOWN: So tonight, we make STRONGHOLD the PUNCHLINE when we make their current tag title reign similar to their original reign... DEFENSELESS!!!

Squiggly starts to cackle and Binky pops his maw and makes small growls like he's laughing too.

“Smells Like A Freakshow” by Avatar begins to play as the lights in the arena start to flash red and yellow like a circus tent. We see Squiggly come out from the back sporting one of those cute-to-scary bear masks with clown makeup smeared over it. Connected to a chain that he’s dragging is Binky the Bear. Binky has a muzzle on, but you can hear him growl as he tries to break free. The two make their way down to the ring, with Binky acting like he’s going to attack the crowd, just for the clown to pull the chain and keep him away from the fans. Squiggly goes up to the apron, as Binky stands on his hind legs, and Squiggly unchains Binky!!! Binky runs around the ring as Squiggly giggles in delight! Binky climbs into the ring and Squiggly pulls out his rubber chicken. The three of them pose in the ring as their music fades.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And the champions...

The intro to Jaden Smith's smash hit "Icon" reverberates through the speakers as the crowd comes alive. The voice of Freddie Florentino can be heard over the first 10 seconds of the intro:

FREDDIE FLORENTINO: GRAB YA TAG ROPE AND COUNT TO FUCK! STRONGHOLD IN THE MOTHERFUCKIN HOUSE… CABRÓNS!"

The fans chant along with him. Once the song kicks in and the first "whoa" hits, Donnie Prower, with a STRONGHOLD flag in hand, and Freddie Florentino burst out from behind the curtain with Jaden Smith's flow guiding them out.

"What you call an icon livin'?

Start a record label, MSFTS just did it (Woo)

Nylon cover, five minutes, whoa

Freddie is vibin to the track, pumping his fist for every whoa and woo, while Donnie is already talkin' that shit to the front row, letting them know that they're about to sit in on an exhibition. Both men make their way down to the ring, turning their attention to the match at hand as they scale the turnbuckles. Freddie hunches over, lowering his sunglasses down the bridge of his nose and running his mouth as Donnie does the same while holding the STRONGHOLD flag open for all to see. They hop in the ring and begin to warm up with each other as they await the start of the match.

The match starts with Donnie and Squiggly. Donnie tries to initiate some grappling, but Squiggly starts to play funny. He puts a wet willy in Donnie’s ear to break out of the tie-up and begins to land some very ridiculous Dwayne-Styled punches, climaxing with an eye-poke. Prower is able to go on the defensive and shoots behind Squiggly for a GERMAN SUPLEX!!! Squiggly lands right on his head and scrambles away while Donnie kips up and tells the HCIC to take wrestling seriously for once. Squiggly’s eyes get wide and he pops to his feet, yelling at Donnie saying he is serious. Donnie says “PROVE IT’ and Squiggly takes this to heart. He throws his apron off, throws the rubber chicken to Binky, who catches it in his mouth, and TEARS HIS PANTS OFF AND THROWS THEM AT DONNIE!!! Donnie gags as he throws the pants aside and feasts his eyes on Squiggly in a Laugh-Olympic Wrestling Singlet. Squiggly pulls headgear out from the rear of his singlet and says “BRING IT”. Surprisingly, this becomes the most technically impressive match since Tapson Peace&Love vs Mr. Wrestling 3K. Squiggly uses his size and strength advantage and even locks in THE TAPP CLASSIC ON DONNIE!!! Prower starts to freak out but calmly starts to dissect the hold so he can escape. Squiggly starts to hype up the crowd, flexing and posing for them, and that allows Donnie to hit a LEG TRAP BELLY-TO-BACK SUPLEX INTO THE STRONGHOLD CORNER!!! Tag to Freddie and they start to put a quick tag beating on Squiggly. Freddie grabs Squiggly arm, switches spots in the corner, and completes POETIC ELEVATION!!! The flying cross-arm bar lands almost perfectly, but Squiggly keeps his hands lock to prevent the full extent of the hold. Squiggly stacks up Freddie, who prevents a pin by curling his shoulders, AND SQUIGGLY SPITS GIGGLE JUICE IN HIS FACE!!! Jeff the Ref didn’t see it from the angle Squiggly was at, but Freddie let’s go quickly. Freddie goes to the ropes and stumbles all over the ring as Squiggly tags out to Binky. Big Papa Bink enters the ring and Squiggly delivers THE PUNCHLINE… AND BINKY FOLLOWS UP WITH THE SITDOWN… 1… 2… 3NO!!! FREDDIE JUST BARELY GETS THE ARM UP!!!

Freddie and Donnie have to keep quick tags while Binky is in the ring because we’re pretty sure Binky is the son of the bear that trained Khabib. Whenever Binky would start to muscle his way into some bear-based pin, Donnie and Freddie scramble for a fresh tag. Freddie tags out and tries to keep Binky’s attention as Prower sneaks in. You can call Florentino “Flow DiMaggio” because he does wrestling's version of a sacrifice fly as he pump fakes a top rope springboard move to get Binky to head towards him, and eats a swat from The Bear-y Good Wrestler. This gave the Heel Hook Heathen the perfect amount of time to get a game plan in the corner, as he whistles for Bink’s attention. Binky goes for PRIMAL CHAR- DONNIE LEAPFROGS BINKY AND THE BEAR RUNS HEADFIRST INTO THE TURNBUCKLES!!! Binky gets on his hind legs and stumbles around as Donnie hits a CHOP BLOCK!!! DOWN GOES BINKY!!! Donnie does his best to try and kick Binky’s legs, biding time until Freddie appears back on the apron. Finally, STRONGHOLD is back together in the corner and Donnie tags Freddie in. Prower quickly tries to lock in a modified TAPP CLASSIC!!! Freddie lines up, and tells the crowd to call PETA and SUBSCRIBE TO WRISTLOCK ACADEMY before beginning to SUPERKICK BINKY REPEATEDLY!!! This continues until Donnie is forced to break the hold at 4.99 and leave the ring. As a “FIGHT FOREVER” chant breaks out, Freddie goes for the pin on the dazed bear and gets a… 1… 2… 3NO!!! SQUIGGLY WITH THE SAVE!!! Squiggly starts to brawl with Freddie and Donnie calls for a disqualification, but he pulls Donnie into the ring too. Squiggly divides and conquers as he fights Freddie and Donnie. Donnie shoots for the legs, but Squiggly stuffs it and hits a big gut-wrench suplex. Freddie walks on the ropes, looking for a flying version of POETIC ELEVA- PUNCHLINE!!! Squiggly tries to get Binky moving to their corner. He finally gets the tag, gets the exhausted bear out of the ring, and returns to the ring a clown on fire. He starts to light Freddie with punches and goes for THE SCRAMBLE- DONNIE WITH A DROPKICK!!! Freddie cross-bodies Squiggly as Donnie pulls his partner to the corner now. Tag by the champions and now they have Squiggly to themselves. Florentino and Prower set Squiggly up for COUNT TO FUCK!!! Freddie rolls out of the ring and Donnie covers and like the moves says you can COUNT(1)… TO(2)... FUCK(3)!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... AND STILL NVR TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS… DONNIE PROWER & FREDDIE FLORENTINO… STRONGHOLD!!!

Donnie and Freddie hug each other as Binky bites Squiggly’s boot and pulls him to the outside. The crowd gives both of these teams admiration, despite neither team technically being faces. Binky roars in frustration as he drags Squiggly up the ramp by one leg. Freddie and Donnie hype themselves to the crowd and the cameras as they get their hands raised and have their titles returned to them. Tapp, Mo, and Adrianna make their way out and they all start celebrating their “Sweep”. STRONGHOLD flaunts their success in the center of the ring as a team as the fans begin to boo.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: WHAT A TAG TEAM MATCH!!! I don’t think anyone expected that effort from Squiggly and Binky!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: STRONGHOLD talk A LOT of shit, but as much as I hate it, they back it ALL up.

GEMMA MARCHAND: Exactly, Anthony.

ANTHONY CROSS: Even though Owen and I haven’t really crossed paths before which is kind of surprising considering all that each of us has done in our storied career but I digress because we are going into a major match tonight.

GEMMA MARCHAND: How do you feel about traveling so far to have to defend your newly won R!ZE Championship in enemy territory in Owen Gonsalves’ home country of Australia?

ANTHONY CROSS: It is obviously not ideal but it is what it is. I have had people come to New York to fight me on my home turf and this will not be the first time I have had to go into my opposition’s hometown. It won’t affect me either way. I know what I have to do and I will get it done to remain R!ZE Champion. Ultimately all of you know the lengths I will go to have five successful R!ZE Championship title defenses so I can earn a shot at the NVR World Championship.

The hard bass of Run The Jewels’ “Blockbuster Night Part I” causes the floor to vibrate as the crowd instantly come to their feet, knowing fully well who is about to make his entrance. All eyes are on the curtain as they wait for his arrival. A white bright light flashes at every beat, and the fans in attendance are slamming anything they can to the beat.

As soon as the incomparable Killer Mike kicks into his verse, the white flashing light stops and Owen Gonsalves bursts through the curtain with a pace that matches the rhythm of the track. He storms his way to the top of the entranceway and pauses to soak in the electric energy from the crowd, with a smirk on his face as he rolls his wrists while subtly mouthing the words to the song. Once El-P's verse begins, Wristlock Sinatra immediately begins to walk down towards the ring as he has his hands outstretched, his eyes staying focused on the ring he’s about to go to work in.

'Look at these kiddies, Mike

I deal in dirty work

Having made his way to the bottom of the ramp, Owen starts shadow-striking to the camera at the bottom of the ramp before feigning a rolling elbow in the camera's direction as El-P says 'ditch 'em' to which the camera reacts accordingly. He paces around the ring, keeping his energy high before plodding up the steps, wiping his feet as soon as he steps on the apron. He moves down the apron and faces the crowd, mouthing a few words to a few of the fans in the front row before he enters the ring. He immediately goes to a corner and begins to warm up and stretch as he awaits the start of the match.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponent, the champion...

Natural Born Killaz By Ice Cube and Dr. Dre start playing throughout the arena. Smoke comes from the entranceway. As the smoke is clearing The Enforcer walks through the smoke and looks out at the crowd. Enforcer then walks down to the ring. He walks up the stairs onto the ring apron, looks out at the crowd, and lifts his arms out to the side. Enforcer steps through the top and middle ropes. Enforcer walks over to the opposite ring ropes and lifts his arms out to his side.

The fans start off FIRMLY behind the visiting King's Road Internet Champion, but Owen stays calm despite the hype. Enforcer is a different story as he yells at the fans to cheer him, before turning his attention to his challenger. Owen asks if Cross is ready to start and Cross roars in retort. They go for a tie-up, but before this match could go technical, Anthony Cross boots Gonsalves square in the chest. Enforcer grabs Owen by the head and slams him to the mat. Enforcer mounts Owen and starts to beat him with punches and elbows. Gonsalves begins to pull guard and starts to block and counter a ton of Anthony's strikes. Cross tries to stack Owen up and lock in a triangle, but Owen starts drilling elbows into Enforcer's face and locks in EQUIVALENT EXCHANGE!!! The crowd cheers as Owen tries to break Anthony's arm and become a Champ Champ across the Battleground Network, but Cross starts to stack Gonsalves into a modified pin… 1… 2… OWEN GETS A SHOULDER UP WITHOUT BREAKING THE HOLD!!! Cross keeps trying to stack Owen onto his shoulders and again gets the challenger pinned… 1… 2… OWEN GETS THE SHOULDER UP AGAIN WITHOUT BREAKING THE KUIMURA!!! Cross is dangerously close to tapping, and with one last explosive stack he winds up ROLLING THEM BOTH INTO THE ROPES TO BREAK THE HOLD!!! Both men get to their feet and Enforcer starts throwing overhand strikes to keep Owen away from him or maybe even end the match entirely. Owen bobs and weaves around Enforcer's shots and shoots behind for PAROXYSM INTO THE CORNER!!! Cross uses the ropes to pull himself up as Gonsalves runs at him with a RUNNING FORE- MAFIA KICK BY CROSS!!! Owen flips onto the mat from the force of the kick as Cross is actually sent back into the corner from the recoil. Enforcer decides to climb to the top rope and scratches an arm out for a DIVING CLOTHESL- OWEN HIT THE ROPES!!! Cross gets crotched on the post and Owen grabs his head for AUSTRALIA STREET!!! He drags Cross out of the corner and covers for the… 1… 2… ENFORCER KICKS OUT!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: OWEN GONSALVES TRULY IS A WRESTLING ALCHEMIST!!! HE CAN TURN ANYTHING INTO MOMENTUM!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: AND LISTEN TO THOSE FANS!!! They're loving every ounce of offense Owen creates!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: WE JUST GONNA PRETEND LIKE THE DON -- THE PADRINO, ANTHONY CROSS, AINT PUTTING ON A CLINIC IN BOSS LEVEL RESILIENCE???

Momentum goes back and forth throughout the match. If it isn't Owen pulling a submission out of nowhere, it’s Enforcer landing a stiff strike or a hard slam. Eventually though, despite Cross’ power advantage, Wristlock Sinatra starts living up to the name. Gonsalves keeps targeting that same arm from earlier, trying to break Cross down with joint manipulations. Enforcer goes to rake Owen’s face, but Owen grabs his hand and SNAPS HIS FINGERS!!! The hometown crowd starts cheering for Gonsalves as he looks to keep the momentum on his side. Owen lands a vicious spinning back elbow that knocks Cross out on his feet. Owen puts Enforcer’s head between his thighs and goes for a double underhook for ANGEL DUST- BACK BODY DROP BY ANTHONY CROSS!!! Owen lands on his feet and hits the ropes. Discus Lariat by Cross is ducked and Owen now has full speed for- SPINNING SPINEBUSTER BY CROSS!!! Cross goes for the mount and starts to punch Owen in the face until he loses steam. He stomps around the ring and taunts the crowd as he waits for Owen to get up. Cross whips Owen into the corner as hard as he can, AND GONSALVES FLOATS OUT TO THE APRON!!! Owen goes to the center of the ring and clubs Cross as he tries to close in. With the NVR R!ZE Champion stunned, Owen slingshots in for a SPEA- MAFIA KICK!!! Gonsalves slumps on the mat, but he isn’t there for long as Enforcer looks to finish the match with the DEATH PEN- OWEN COUNTERS INTO EQUIVALENT EXCHANGE!!! Instantly, the champion goes into a stack to try and pin Wristlock Sinatra again, but OWEN TRANSITIONS INTO THE KRUKENBERG!!! Well, 80% of Krukenberg, because Cross hides his free arm beneath him. Gonsalves fights to get the added armbar for the submission, but CROSS ROLLS FREE!!! Anthony shoots the mat almost instantly and locks in OMERTA!!! IT’S OVE- GONSALVES WITH A BACK ROLL PIN FOR THE… 1… 2… CROSS BREAKS FREE!!! Owen pops to his feet and lights Enforcer up with elbows to the face. Cross is stunned as Owen goes into the ropes for a DRACO METEOR… INTO STEPH THE REF!!! Enforcer pulls the ref into Gonsalves’ path and clears her out. Owen turns around to berate Anthony, but EATS A DICK KICK… AND A SUPLEX-LIFT DEATH PENALTY DDT!!! Cross pulls Steph the Ref over so that way she can count… 1… 2… 3!!!

The fans boo Enforcer, but he hears none of it. He is his own cheering section as he slings his R!ZE Championship over his shoulder and pats himself on the back and laughs at the fans for thinking their hero would beat him. Cross spits on Gonsalves and exits the ring. The fans throw trash at Enforcer as he makes his way to the back, raising his title the entire time.

K.T. ANDERSON: ENFORCER IS SUCH A FUCKING STAR!!! LISTEN TO THAT POP!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: THEY ARE LITERALLY BOOING HIM AND THROWING TRASH!!! HOW ARE YOU THIS BLIND???

Backstage once again, we have NVR Champion Nevada Brooks looking her best, going that extra mile for the Aussie fans in attendance tonight. Her brightest white and silver holographic gear, the light gleaming off of it in tiny rainbows, the glamour of the sequins and fringe. Every inch looks like the champion she is. One hand sweeps her raven dark hair off her shoulder while the other rests just so on the plate of her title, pushing it forward so that it’s easier to see NEVADA BROOKS engraved in gold before she gives the camera a warm, genuine smile.

NEVADA BROOKS: Hey NVR faithful, it’s been a minute hasn’t it? But no worries, here we are back in Australia! Queensland has been good to us, and that’s a fact. Tonight, I’m going to be in our Main Event, defending my newly won NVR World Championship, and I am beyond excited. I don’t think there’s an active wrestler today that hasn’t at least heard about Gavin Grimes. He’s got a name that opens doors, a name he built up and made strong enough that it can open doors for others that have that same name - but from what I’ve seen, none of them are trying to skate by on that. They show up, and they want to win. That’s admirable. But.

She held up her hand, as if to say ‘stop’ and then shook her head, the tiniest grin playing about on those full lips.

NEVADA BROOKS: Always a but, right? Gavin’s done big things, and it would be totally reasonable to think he was going to just keep doing that. Why we even talked about it after our match was announced, he’s got the on-record fastest win time in NVR history. Imagine, walking into a new company and immediately setting a record. Making people sit up and take notice. That’s admirable too.

A decisive nod, both hands now on her hips as she took a deep breath, her head canting to the side just a bit.

NEVADA BROOKS: Thing is, if you’re wrestling at all the least and I mean the very least in the way that the bar couldn’t be set lower, is to show up and want to win. Just above that is a place I see a lot of wrestlers settle for. The good old I’m just happy to be here, doing what I love, and while on the whole, that’s not a bad attitude to have, if that’s all you want where’s your passion? Your room to grow, thrive and change for the better? Where is your hunger? That’s the most important question here.

A deep breath, and let out a sigh before she stood straighter, her shoulders back and her demeanor confident.

NEVADA BROOKS: I know what it’s like to carry around a hunger so bright and vast that nothing seems to sate it. I knew exactly what I needed to do though, to get me where I needed to be, so that I could feast, finally. I don’t need to remind you all how many times I fought to hang on to my ticket to the top and defended that like it was far more to me because it was. Now, after what I would consider the finest match I’ve ever fought, I made it past the one person I was never sure I could beat… even though I was forever determined that if I went down, it’d be swinging.

Those hands drop from her hips, the right one balling up into a tight fist before she grins and shakes her head again.

NEVADA BROOKS: You know that scene in Con Air where Nicolas Cage comes out and feels the sunlight and fresh air for the first time in forever? That’s what it felt like when I won this championship. I’ve always said that there’s plenty of room at the table. There’s enough for everyone to eat, too. Thing is, you can in fact eat your fill, but not off my plate. Gavin Grimes is a challenge. His moves are seen industry-wide, and used by other wrestlers - The Crowning, for example, I could name three off the top of my head that uses it besides him. So yes, he’s a challenge.

Her big eyes seem darker, and more intense as she says one last thing before leaving the area with confident steps.

NEVADA BROOKS: But I’m Nevada Brooks, and I’m not about to skip my dessert even after the biggest ‘meal’ of my career. The Crowning is great, I take nothing from that… but let me introduce you to Shatter, Gavin. I’m sure you’ll be great friends.

The lights go out, and a few spotlights flash to the beat of “Throne” by Bring Me The Horizon begins to play. When the lead singer begins to sing out “Ooooh Ohohohoh Ooooh”, all of the lights turn back on to a blinding white light, as Gavin Grimes stands at the top of the ramp with his arms wide. The intensity of the lights goes down, as Gavin explodes with energy. He hi-fives fans and hypes them up as he heads to the ring. The Cult Classic slides across the apron, before posing for the fans. He goes into the ring and poses one more time in the center of the ring before heading to his corner.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Now introducing the champion...

As En Route To Mayhem by Apocalyptica plays, the music rolls out over the room, from the back emerges Nevada Brooks, determination in her steps as she moves down the ramp towards the ring. She pauses at the ringsteps to look out over the fans in attendance and she throws her hands up in a signal for them, a big smile on her pretty face. She pauses to wipe her boots on the apron before ducking between the ropes, lingering a bit before moving on into the ring, her expression focused and eager as she waits for the match to begin.

Big fight feel in the main event here. We have a Freshman World Champion in Nevada Brooks defending against a multi-time World Champion in Gavin Grimes. A classic sequence of chain wrestling here to start us off as the two fight for position. Shooting behind, Nevada Brooks looks to suplex Gavin, but he breaks her grip and runs into the ropes. Handspring into the ropes and a rebound with a back elbow, Kira now backs into the ropes. She tries to speed off with her own offense, but Grimes hits a psych-out bulldog that plants Brooks! Gavin hypes the fans up as he leaps onto the top rope for a springboard MOONSAU- NOBODY IS HOME!!! That’s okay because The Cult Classic lands on his feet anyways and recovers just in time for SHATTE-NO!!! Gavin spins around her and rolls her backward for a SAC-TOWN KICK!!! Kira is dazed as Gavin shoves her to the mat… 1-NO!!! KIRA KICKS OUT ALMOST INSTANTLY!!! Gavin looks a little shocked as Nevada Brooks kips up and tells him to bring it. A bit entertained and offended by the fast kick out, Gavin can’t help but oblige as he BATTERS her with a series of stiff strikes. Vada Brooks holds onto the ropes, doing her best to both defend herself and keep herself upright, but it’s hard when Gavin Grimes is beating you senseless. She lands a good back elbow that stuns Gavin, but it’s on for a second as he comes running up with a SHOTGUN DROPKICK!!! Kira goes through the ropes ass-first as she holds onto the middle rope for dear life! The NVR World Champion pulls herself up to her feet, trying to collect herself as Gavin hits the ropes for a SUNSE BOMB OFF THE APRON-WAIT!?! KIRA HOLDS ON!!! Gavin tries to leverage himself so the powerbomb still hits but Kira is able to boot him away from her. The fans pop as Nevada Brooks gets herself free, but Gavin THROWS HER LE- 450 BY KIRA ONTO GAVIN!!! The sloppiest, most desperate 450 ever, but it lands dammit and now both wrestlers are downed at ringside!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: KIRA IS RISKING HER LIFE FOR THIS TITLE!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: THIS IS HOW WE KNOW THE WIN OVER TAPP WAS A FLUKE!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: THAT WAS UGLY BUT EFFECTIVE!!! KIND OF LIKE K.T.’S COMMENTARY!!!

Both wrestlers make it back into the ring on their own accord before the 10-count. We see the styles clash between these two wrestlers as Gavin keeps trying to fly and go fast, but Nevada keeps trying to keep it grounded and slow. However, as Vada keeps grabbing his legs and trying to make the match technical, Gavin says “fine you wanna grapple” and we see them grapple all over the mat. VERY quickly, Gavin gets a back mount and goes for the KINGS CROSSFACE!!! He’s got Kira right where he wants, and it looks like Gavin might pull off the fast win AND one of the fastest title changes in NVR history (behind that Izzy travesty and that Eddy Poe thing). Nevada Brooks refuses to tap though. She’s kicking her feet and trying to drive herself to the ropes as much as possible. She’s able to wiggle out of the body scissors and rolls backward for a pin that nearly chokes her out… 1… 2… GAVIN GRIMES KICKS OUT!!! They both get to their feet and start to trade strikes. Gavin gets his speed going, hitting a series of chops and jabs that backs the champion to the center of the ring. He speeds into the ropes and springboards off for a TORNADO DD-DROPKICK BY KIRA!!! She looks down at Grimes and yells “fine you wanna fly”, then hits a handspring… INTO A MOONSAULT KNEE DROP!!! She covers him for the… 1… GAVIN KICKS OUT!!! She’s surprised but doesn’t want to let Gavin up so she drops back onto him. Sadly, Gavin rolls to his stomach and gets on his knees and now they’re BOTH off to the races. We see one of those flippy ring running sequences with monkey flips, front flips, matrix evasions, and springboards as far as the eye can see. Thinking he has it set, Gavin goes for a SITTING SPRINGBOARD CU- LEAPING ZIGZAG OFF THE ROPES!!! Nevada has the fans clapping and cheering for her as she heads to the top rope. She hypes the crowd up and leaps off with a CORKSCREW SENT- GAVIN ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY!!! Brooks hits the mat hard and Gavin instantly hits her with a SAC-TOWN KICK!!! A DEEP COVER FOR THE… 1… 2… 3NO!!! KIRA KICKS OUT!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: THAT WAS FUCKING THREE!!! WHERE’S THE BELL??? WHERE’S THE AND NEW?!?

GEMMA MARCHAND: THAT WAS CLEARLY 2.99 AND MY GIRL VADA BROOKS HOLDS ON FOR JUST A LITTLE BIT LONGER!!!

The closing moments of this match depend entirely on who has the most left in the tank because the tempo has dropped drastically. Gavin and Kira are both exhausted as hell, and as soon as one starts to gain momentum, the other expertly cut it all out from beneath them. Gavin starts landing a series of strikes that daze Nevada Brooks, and he starts to drive her into the ropes. He goes to whip her into the ropes for- SLINGBLADE BY KIRA BROOKS!!! She pulls him up, trying to hit an Ode to her fa- KINGS’ CROSS FA-NO!!! She grabs him by the hair before Gavin could lock in the chicken wing crossface and snapmares him to the mat! Taking half a step back, Kira lands a Hurricanra Driver that spikes Gavin’s face into the mat. She goes into the corner and calls for SHATT- GAVIN POPS HER UP… POWE-NO!!! He tries to powerbomb her, but he loses his grip and she monkey flips hi- NO!!! HE LANDS ON HIS FEET!!! Vada Brooks is shocked as she eats A SAC-TOWN KICK!!! Gavin pulls Kira up for THE CROWN- BACKDROP BACKBREAKER BY THE CHAMPION!!! She scrambles to the ropes as Gavin gets to his feet. Gavin Grimes rolls to his knees and pulls himself up and shakes Kira’s hand and raises it again, giving the young World Champion “The Nod”, and Nevada gives it right back to him with her own nod. As Gavin leaves, Nevada still celebrates her win, but here comes Myojin standing on the stage. They clap and give Brooks kudos, but then they point at her title and motion that it will be Myojin’s at Big Wednesday!
