Anderson, and Caleb Jackson all stand inside. Classic Man Remix by Jidenna (feat. Kendrick Lamar) hits the PA system as Freddie Florentino, Donnie Prower, and Adrianna Wilde place Tapp's boots and trunks in the center of the ring. Each of his former and current close friends in the ring place a rose on Tapp's gear as his music plays out in its entirety. Once the song is over an image comes up on the titantron...

As we cut back to the ring, we see K.T. Anderson motion for the ringbell to be brought into the ring. He asks for everyone to bow their head for a moment of silence and begins the ceremonial 10-Bell Salute.

The lights dim down while the catchy, fast-paced rock of RAINBOWS by A9 echoes as a spotlight suddenly appears on a figure on the ramp, with their back turned, and begins kneeling. Once the beat finally kicks in, MYOJIN explodes with energy- wearing a masquerade-style mask over their eyes, and turns around with a confident smile on their face, raising their arms to soak in the positive reaction from everyone around.

With their blonde locks hanging over their face. They then whip their head back, flipping their hair out of their face before excitedly running down the ring before performing a cartwheel and a jump, landing on their feet near ringside!

They climb up to the apron, grabs a hold of the top rope, and slingshot themselves into the ring. MYOJIN performs a somersault roll, landing on their side with a hand on their hip. The others, took off their mask to reveal their piercing blue eye contacts. They toss it aside nonchalantly before climbing up the top turnbuckle, tilting their head upward as if he’s looking toward the sky- while the lights mimic stars above. They backflip, back onto their feet while taking off their flamboyant coat and moving to their corner. The lights go back to normal as they check their wrist tape. their charismatic smile fading to a more focused expression as they pace back and forth, ready for action.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponent...

Classic Man Remix by Jidenna (feat. Kendrick Lamar) hits the PA system, and the lights fade to a red color. At the top of the stage, sparkler pyres go off and as the chorus hits, they shoot off white, as red confetti shoots into the air, and out comes Tapp Wrestling. Accompanied by Mo Mooney, The REALEST Wrestler walks down the ramp ignoring the fans and focusing on the match ahead. Tapp slides into the ring on his stomach and slaps the canvas three times before hopping up. He "Runs the ropes" and arrogantly poses in the center of the ring by kissing his hands and spreading them out into the air as his music fades out.

A technical dream, we start off with the cocky Tapp Addams trying to play mind games with Myo, as he taunts them with a series of pump-fake Greco-roman knuckle lock attempts, before finally shooting for the leg. Instantly Myo stuffs it and tries for a back mount, but Tapp with snapmare. They both go for the tie-up, and it looks like Tapp’s height advantage is about to give him an edge, however, Myojin leaps up with a headscissors. Roll through into a mount and Myo locks in a triangle. Tapp scrambles, trying to use his neck and back strength to get Myojin off their balance, and he is able to flip Myo on their back. He stacks up for the deadlift powerbomb, but Myojin hits a sunset flip! Tapp rolls onto his hands and knees AND MYOJIN HITS LOVE FROM OSAKA!!! Instant cover by Myojin as it gets them the… 1… 2… TAPP KICKS OUT!!! Tapp Addams scrambles to the ropes as Myojin runs up to him. A series of strikes from the Heavenly Star Child keeps Tapp on the defensive. Tapp grabs Myojin and launches them into the ropes. He goes for his triple arm drags, but on the second one, Myojin counters with a judo toss. Tapp is able to roll through to his feet and hits the ropes for a LARI- GLAMOUR!!! Myojin counters it into a Crucifix driver and pins for the… 1… 2… 3NO!!! TAPP GETS AN ARM UP!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: YOU CAN’T KEEP THE REALEST WRESTLER DOWN FOR LONG!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: THE CROWD ARE LOVING THIS SO FAR!!!

Tapp starts to get the momentum to swing in his favor after a stiff kick to the knee buckled Myojin, and that’s been his focus ever since. Those vicious Chopblocks Tapp is known for start coming into the play and they clip the wings of the relatively high-flying Myo. Tapp starts to hyperextend Myojin’s leg before just stomping right on the knee joint. Tapp drops to a knee and starts to transition into the ACHILLES RE- BOOT TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD BY MYO!!! Tapp stumbles away from them, as Myojin rolls to their feet and delivers a BUSAIKU KNEE!!! Myojin rushes to cover Tapp… 1… 2… TAPP KICKS OUT!!! Myojin slaps the mat and gets to their feet. They light Tapp with kicks, but Tapp starts to get smart and shoots for the bad leg again, so Myo has to change tactics. Dropping an Elbow on the back of Tapp’s head to stuff a takedown, Myojin starts delivering drilling shots into the back of Tapp’s head before lifting him up for a vertical suplex… INTO A SMALL PACKAGE… 1… 2… KICKOUT!!! Myojin quickly goes to the corner to set up for FALLING FRO-

WHAT YOU CALL AN ICON LIVIN?

Before Myojin can get the 450 going, STRONGHOLD comes running down!!! Freddie, Donnie, and Adrianna distract the ref as Mo Mooney slides across the apron to anchor Myojin to the corner. It looks like Myojin is going to be in trouble… BUT HERE COMES ONI!!! Kai, Naoki, Reo, and TJS run down to the ring and they pull STRONGHOLD off the apron. A big brawl at ringside as Tapp leapfrogs onto the top turnbuckle- MYOJIN BITCH SLAPS HIM OFF THE TOP TURNBUCKLE!!! Tapp falls onto the mob of people, taking everyone down. As the mob gets back to their feet, Myo hypes the crowd up before leaping off for FALLING FROM HEAVEN ON TO EVERYONE!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: THIS MADNESS NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: MYOJIN JUST TOOK NINE PEOPLE OUT WITH ONE MOVE!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: WHERE’S MY FUCKING THIS IS AWESOME CHANT???

As all the wrestlers get up, security comes to separate everyone who isn’t in the match. During the confusion, Tapp delivers his three-arm drags. Once into the stairs, then into the barricade, and the final one into the ring post! He tries to lock in a wristlock at ringside to taunt the fans even more, but Myo shoves Tapp backward into a security guard and rolls into the ring. Now that all of the chaos is gone, Myojin starts to get to their feet. Tapp sees this and shoots behind them for a RIPCORD KN-TUEUR DE BEAUTE!!! Myojin with the counter, dragging Tapp to the floor and locking in the Lebell Lock. They have Tapp right in the center of the ring and it looks like it’s all over. Tapp keeps trying to roll under and break free, but Myojin is able to stuff the escape attempts. Addams tries to throw a leg into the ropes, but he’s inches away. Myojin wrenches even more and TAPP GOES OU- DESPERATION LEG THROW GETS HIM INTO THE ROPES!!! TAPP BREAKS THE HOLD!!! Myojin lets go, but they don’t let Tapp get away as they follow up with LOVE FROM OSAKA- COUNTER… ACHILLES REAL!!! Tapp drags Myojin to the center of the ring and starts stomping on Myojin’s head! Myo had tried to use the bad leg for the axe kick and Tapp caught it. Myojin tries to crawl to the ropes, but Tapp drops to the mat and starts to kick the back of their head. Myojin tries, but they just can’t make it and they TAP OUT!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA SUBMISSION... TAPP ADDAMS!!!

Tapp stands above the former Wristlock Academy student for only a moment to raise his hand, before he rolls outside so he can get ready for his main event. Despite the loss though, the crowd cheers for Myojin like they had won the match. Myojin, despite being disappointed smiles in appreciation of the NVR Faithful. They take a moment to promise that 2023 will be different and wishes everyone happy holidays.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: Myojin gets robbed numerous times in this match, but it looks like they may have given ONI an edge in the main event tonight, as they just pushed the American Thunder Dome winner to his limits here tonight.

GEMMA MARCHAND: Myojin is such an amazing talent. It’s gotta be frustrating to have so many people get involved in your match and ultimately cost you the win.

K.T. ANDERSON: You guys bitch too much. STRONGHOLD IS JUST ON ANOTHER TIER!!! FROM TAPP TO FREDDIE TO DONNIE TO ADRIANNA!!! THEY JUST BUILT DIFFERENT!!!

PREVIOUSLY RECORDED...
We see JD Driftwood pacing back and forth, clearly looking for a fight. He talks about how Mimi doesn't deserve to be in the position she is. After all, it was he who powerbombed the others in the Tower of Doom that allowed Mimi to retrieve the briefcase. JD talks about how Mimi has been in NVR since the beginning and that there is a reason she hasn't held any singles titles in her entire run, but JD was Goldenweight Champion in his first year. He's got the size advantage, he's got the strength advantage, he's got the singles experience advantage. There "ain't nothing Mimi has got" on him, and he's gonna "beat that bitch like Michael Vick". He finishes by saying that when he wins the briefcase tonight, he's gonna travel to Brazil and cash in on whomever wins the title at Fim Do Mundo.

BACKSTAGE...
Mimi and TJS are doing an interview. TJS asks Mimi how it feels to be in a position to defend one of the most coveted opportunities in NVR. Mimi exclaims that words can't describe it, but if she HAD to it feels "Fantabulous", "Awesome Sauce", and most importantly, "Mimi-mazing". TJS asks if it's "Fetch" and Mimi tells him that he needs to stop trying to make that a thing. Mimi tries to steal the microphone from him and ask how he feels about his match later tonight, but Teddy grabs it back and tells her that he's the one asking questions here. He asks Mimi how she feels about JD being the first one to challenge for her briefcase and his disparaging words about her, and Mimi says that she's used to people underestimating her in NVR. Just like with the Women's Summit a few years ago, she knows how to capitalize as a singles competitor, and there's a reason why she's the one who walked away as the briefcase holder, and not JD. Mimi finishes the interview by saying she's going to make JD and everyone else regret ever underestimating "me-me".

The intro to "Symbol of Nevermore" by Superjoint as the crowd gets to their feet. After a few moments, JD Driftwood bursts from the curtain. He waves his arms trying to get the fans hyped, pacing across the stage area and screaming "LET'S FUCKING GO". After a couple of minutes of hype, the verse hits, and he starts bouncing off the barricade, trying to mosh with fans as he makes his way to the ring. JD rolls to the center of the ring pop to his feet throw a middle finger in the air as the fans yell out with him “J F’N D”!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponent...

The Game by Alyssa Reid begins to play in the arena and we see Mimi’s name flash on the screen. She darts out of the back in a pair of dark denim jeans with a loose hanging NVR shirt one size too big for her and her NVR World Championship Opportunity. Mimi gives the crowd a few nods and peels off the covering on her shirt that turns it from a standard NVR shirt into a “Mimi's NVR House” shirt before she walks down to the ring with her arms behind her back, skipping once she’s halfway down the ramp and ends with a perfect slide into the ring. Once she’s on her feet Mimi gives a little twirl to a pose where her feet are a shoulder's length apart and her hands flat out with a complimenting smirk to say "Come on". AND JD DOES COME ON!!!

He drills her with a PEZ DISPENSER TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD. Mimi drops her briefcase as she falls to the mat and JD picks it up. He screams that the case is his before spiking it onto Mimi’s spine as hard as he can. JD taunts the crowd some more as he stands over Mimi Smith. Mimi tries to get up, but Driftwood punts her in the ribcage, before dumping her outside the ring with a toss through the ropes. JD continues to taunt the crowd by raising the World Championship Briefcase as ring-side EMTs check on Mimi.

Suddenly, Mimi gets a second wind and shoves the physicians out of the way. She charges into the ring, grabs her neck, and glares at JD. Driftwood just laughs in her face and tells her to get the fuck out of his ring. Mimi says give me the briefcase or else, but JD raises it as high as he can and says “Take it from me”. Mimi glares into JD’s eyes for a moment, before she KICKS HIM IN THE DICK… AND FOLLOWS UP WITH A CHA-CHIN!!! Driftwood drops to a knee and Mimi screams at Jeff the Ref to start the match!

The match starts and Mimi takes a lot of her frustration out on JD while he’s still down. She stomps on him until he’s on his knees and then she knocks him back down with a PICK N MIX COMBO!!! She goes to cover him… 1- KICKOUT!!! Mimi can’t believe it! JD kicks out at one! Mimi stands up and sizes JD up for the SHINY TEETH NO MO-NO!!! DRIFTWOOD DUCKS IT… BUSCH GARDENS!!! JD plants Mimi as he tries to catch his breath. He gets up and starts to drill some ax handles into the back of Mimi. Smith is struggling to get to her feet now, so JD lifts her and chucks her into the corner with an elevated hip toss. Mimi gets up and Driftwood comes rushing at her with a HUGE SPLA-NO!!! Mimi slides across the ring using the ropes as JD rebounds off and tries to catch her with a PEZ DISPENSE- PELE KICK BY MIMI!!! The desperation move gives Mimi time as JD stumbles back into the corner. She starts to run toward JD with a BATTERING RAM ELBOW!!! The fans give her the energy she needs to hit another and another until she hits a NEW HIGH SCORE!!! She whips JD out of the corner for a MIMISIS OF PEZ DISPENSER- JD DUCKS IT… DIMEBAG DROP!!! JD tells Mimi to stay down as he picks her up for a PSYCHO HOLIDAY!!! He covers Mimi for the… 1… 2… 3NO!!! MIMI GETS AN ARM UP!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: PSYCHO DRIVER FUCK YOUR LIFE!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: THE ABSOLUTE DOMINATION FROM JD DRIFTWOOD!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: HOW DID MIMI KICK OUT FROM THAT???

JD continues to lead this match, drilling Mimi with stiff shots to the stomach as he hangs her up in the corner. Driftwood takes a moment to taunt the crowd as he lifts Mimi up to the top turnbuckle. He hits her in the face with a few heavy-handed rights as he climbs up with her. He hooks her head, but Mimi starts to wiggle free. He slams his forearm onto Mimi’s back as he tries again, but this time she sends some punches into his midsection. Getting frustrated, JD lets go of Mimi to light her up again, BUT MIMI WITH A BELLCLAP!!! She gets a leg up and boots him off the turnbuckles. The crowd starts to rally behind Mimi as she stands up on the top turnbuckle and catches Driftwood with a DIVING CHA-CHIN!!! Driftwood sells the stunner like he is famed actor Dwayne Johnson as Mimi tries to capitalize. She gets to the corner and claps along with the crowd. She charges at JD for MA PAYCHE- POUNCE!!! POUNCE BY JD DRIFTWOOD!!! Mimi is blasted into the ropes as JD gets to his feet. Driftwood stomps around the ring as he goes and grabs Mimi up for SAY GOODNI- MIMI WRAPS HER LEGS AROUND THE MIDDLE ROPE!!! Veteran ring-awareness by Smith, but JD doesn’t care, because he drills her with a HANGMAN’S DDT!!! JD drags Mimi to the center of the ring as he sets her up for a FULL-ON HEAD- MIMI ROLLS BACKWARDS!!! She tries for a schoolgirl roll-up, but she can’t seem to get JD down. He laughs, but then she drives her shoulder into the back of his knee, and down he goes. Mimi avoids the pin attempt, however, going for a SHINY TEETH NO MORE!!! JD is glassy-eyed on one knee as Mimi backs up a bit to deliver MA PAYCHECK!!! She covers JD for the… 1… 2… 3!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... AND STILL THE NVR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OPPORTUNITY BRIEFCASE WINNER… MIMI SMITH!!!

Mimi’s adrenaline depletes as soon as the win is secured and she crumbles to the mat. Jeff the Ref helps her to her feet, but she can barely stand. She stumbles to the ropes to try and hold herself up. Senior Official Jeff Coors raises her hand and gives her back her briefcase.

Once JD leaves the ring in a huff, Mimi calls for a microphone and asks everyone to quiet down for a second. She tells the crowd that people are going to question why she should have this opportunity. They’re going to tell her and all of the people in the crowd that she doesn’t deserve it and that she’s not on a World Championship level, but they’re wrong. She’s going to prove to naysayers like JD that she can hang and she will hang until she is the NVR World Champion. The fans cheer as she stumbles out of the ring and shuffles to the back.

K.T. ANDERSON: SHUT THE FUCK UP!!! MIMI YOU SUCK!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: EXCUSE ME?!? SHE JUST DEFEATED A 300LBS REDENCK KAIJU AFTER GETTING JUMPED BEFORE THE MATCH… AND YOU’RE GONNA SAY SHE SUCKS?!?

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: We all know K.T. has terrible takes, Gemma. However, I’m excited to see how Mimi climbs up to the level she wants to be perceived as!

Both Kira And Sui come out from the back before they point at the ring and do a cutthroat motion. They make their way down the rampway and walk around the ring, along the way slapping the hands of fans and talking to the crowd. They meet up to where the announce table is and climb on top of it where they make an "X" with their arms and rile up the crowd.

They make their way into the ring and climb up to the top turnbuckle where they do another cutthroat motion, sticking out their tongues and rolling their eyes into the back of their heads. all undertaker-like. They drop down and square up to their opponents finishing it off.

The words ‘Oooh he’s a Chad…’ clearly in Natalie Kassidy’s voice blare through the arena before we break into the ‘He’s a Devil, He’s A Doll’ by Betty Hutton begins to play… slowly on stage, Chad walks out accompanied by Thad. The brothers share a quick fist bump on stage before the two begin to head down the ramp.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: “Making their way to the ring from Atlanta, Georgia… THEY ARE THE WORLD’S CHADDEST TAG TEAM!!!”

Soon Thad would Chad up onto the apron where they posed again before he sat on the rope like a good brother to allow Chad entry. Then he followed him into the ring, joining him in the ring corner as they took off their cool Chad sunglasses and climbed up the corner turnbuckles to hype up the crowd… while they awaited the match to commence.

Chad and Kira start the match off. Frustrated with Thad’s performance as of late, Chad tells him to watch how it’s done, but Kira launches at him with a leaping forearm and starts to deliver a flurry of sickeningly stiff strikes. Jaw-popping uppercut to finish the sequence as Chad stumbles back into his corner. Thad nods at Chad and tags himself in and takes a deep breath before eating the exact same series of strikes, just like how Chad “showed him”. Chad rolls his eyes and tells Thad to tag out, thus baiting Kira in. Izumi goes to knock Chad off the apron, but Chad grabs him by the hair and drags Kira over the top rope. Kira tries to fight out as Chad hooks the head and delivers an APRON BRAINBUSTER!!! Obata gets into the ring, looking to hit a suicide dive on Chad, BUT THAD INTERCEPTS WITH A SUPER THAD PUNCH!!! Thad is feeling the energy flow through him as he sees Chad lift Izumi up into an Electric chair. Thad leaps off the apron with a CROSSBO- MOONSAULT SLAM BY KIRA!!! Chad turns around, thinking Thad just killed Kira, but Izumi pops up with a palm strike! He throws Chad back into the ring and tags out to Obata. The Dead Pretenders set up Chad Kassidy for STOP THE DEFAMATIO- CHAD YANKS KIRA INTO THE PATH OF SUI!!! Obata punts his teammate in the face as Chad hits the ropes and delivers a SUPER CHAD PUNCH!!! Obata stumbles around and Kassidy follows up with a BIG CHAD BOOT!!! The Sakura Samurai is down and Chad covers for the… 1… 2… KIRA MAKES THE SAVE!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: CHADDY THE DADDY PUTTING EVERYONE’S DICK IN THE DIRT!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: BOTH TEAMS KEEP GOING BACK AND FORTH!!! WHO WILL COME OUT ON TOP!!!

The intensity and momentum go back and forth as both teams fight for the edge, but neither one can seem to be able to capitalize. After beating the tar out of each other Chad and Sui go for hot tags and in comes Thad and Kira! Oddly enough, Thad Kassidy gets the momentum here as he ducks a wild step-up shining wizard from Izumi and is able to throw him shoulder-first into the ring post! O’Connor Roll out of the corner by Thad into a VICIOUS BACK LIFT NECKBREAKER!!! Thad is as surprised as everyone else that he’s in the driver's seat and so he goes to the corner and starts to stomp. As Kira gets to his feet, Thad screams out and charges for a BIG THAD BOO- SCHOOL BOY!!! Kira rolls up Thad, but he gives Thad too much momentum and he makes it back to his feet. Thad dives low for a Jack Knife pin… KIRA ROLLS THROUGH… KIRA DRIVER ‘91!!! Kira goes for the cover as Chad and Sui both get into the ring… 1… Sui lunges over Kira to stop Chad… 2… CHAD HITS THE CHADDICAL SABBATICAL ON SUI, LANDING ON KIRA AND THAD TO BREAK THE PIN UP!!! Chad throws Sui onto the apron and Kira onto the other one. He drags Thad over to their corner and tags in, The referee doesn’t see it though, because almost immediately as he does, Kira and Sui come running up with a double shotgun dropkick that sends him flying off the apron and colliding into the barricade. Thad is barely coherent as Obata hooks the head and lifts him for OMAE WA MOU SHINDERU!!! Izumi delivers the kick to the head at the apex of the brainbuster and then leaps onto Thad for the… 1… 2… 3!!!

Chad slides into the ring to tell the referee that she got it wrong, but Steph the Ref shakes her head saying there was no tag. Chad shouts at Steph as Thad tries to get up from the amount of damage he took, and Chad blames her for the possible brain damage Thad could have due to her negligence. He yells for a restart or for the match to get turned over, but Dead PRetenders have already celebrated their win and headed to the back before Chad could even realize it.

GEMMA MARCHAND: A bit of a dusty finish, but you know this is a big win for Dead Pretenders.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: I think Chad has a legitimate gripe here, Jr. Official Stephanie Ledbetter missed the tag and technically made the wrong call.

DURING THE BREAK...
Dona Rotten is seen backstage getting ready for her match the only way she knows how. She has a resistance band in her hand and was using it to warm up, but every time someone walked by, she'd try to whip them with the band. Stagehands and interns are victimized by the Scream Queen as she finishes getting ready. From behind, there was a sort of devious laughter that caught Dona off guard. Almost immediately, Squiggly the Clown walked up with a big smile on his face. Dona looks apprehensive at first, but Squiggly tells her not to worry. He reminisces about their time in the Army of Darkness, but Dona reminds him it was he who betrayed her and Eddie when Jimmy Pagan left the group. Squiggly laughs and says that it's old news and he's a changed clown. Squiggly suggests that he and Dona should work together to take control of the 5-Person Scramble. Dona says she doesn't trust Squiggly, but Squiggly says it would be much better for both of them if she did. An intense staredown as they both look into each other's eyes, but they both begin to laugh at the same time, so could we see an Army of Darkness reunion tonight?

Backstage we see three side-by-side videos of Brody Howitzer, Darby MacNamara, and Liam Vaughn. Brody is walking to the entrance ramp, and he's trying to force people into getting his autograph or taking a picture with him. He grabs a random woman backstage and signs her forehead, much to her chagrin. Darby MacNamara is swiping shiny stuff as he walks down the hall on his way to the match. MacNamara gets quite the collection of shinies and snacks as he smiles and pickpockets a few fans he walks by. Liam Vaughn is just walking down the hall, ignoring everyone around him. Eventually, all three images merge into one as they bump into each other at a cross-section of three separate hallways at the opening of "Gorilla". The shock makes Darby drop his nick-nacks, and Brody starts autographing the collection until he realizes it's Darby, whom he has had a rivalry with in the past. Liam just sizes them both up and walks away.

The tempo of "Journey to the Center of the Mind" would pick up gradually, as Brody makes his way to the top of the ramp and holding a kendo stick in the "This is my Boomstick!" pose, before pointing it at the crowd as he makes his way to the ring after some stagehand rolls out some red carpet for him to walk, as he enters the ring ready to make some art.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing next…

"Grease Paint and Monkey Brains" by White Zombie starts to play and we see the lights dim down. After the intro we see Squiggly come out from the back sporting a pig mask with clown makeup smeared over it. A large oversized tie rests over his ring attire as he approaches the ramp. He pulls a match from behind his ear and strikes it before lighting his tie. Firecrackers begin popping as Squiggly begins to tremble, almost seizure-like. The smoke clears as Squiggly continues shaking his head, twitching, and shaking his arms as he heads toward the ring.

Squiggly comes to the edge of the ring where he ditches his tie and rolls in under the ropes. He stands up before he begins circling the ring, looking out at the crowd. He rips the mask from his face and lets out a deep belly laugh as he twitches and scratches at his bald, tattooed head.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Coming to the ring…

Dona slowly walks toward the ring, her focus squarely in front of her. She tunes out the fans, her mind lingering on the match at hand. A wry grin creeps across her painted face, as she climbs up onto the apron. Dona steps through the ropes, making her way to mid-ring. The Toxic Knockout finally lets her eyes pan across the ringside area, before spitting a thick green mist skyward. Rotten cackles maniacally, and goes to her corner, to await the match to start.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: The next opponent...

The upbeat, fast-paced tunes of Machine Gun Kelly’s pop punk “Kiss Kiss” starts to play and Darby comes out from backstage with his usual carefree energy. Pausing he’ll glance around to study the crowd and then begin to make his way quickly. On his way to the ring, he’ll try and barter and trade with fans along the ramp, looking to exchange any of the nick-nacks he might have picked up backstage (or who the hell knows where else). Sometimes he might be successful. Others he might come up empty. But eventually, he’ll turn his attention back to the task at hand, ascend the steel ringsteps, and then up the nearby turnbuckle post, flipping off the top turnbuckle and into the ring where he’ll find his way to his corner and (most likely) try and pickpocket the referee’s wallet on his way there.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And finally...

All of the lights go out in the arena, as the opening sirens of “Twisted” by Missio begin to play. Singular lights flash to the sound of the music as a lone spotlight points down on the stage. Suddenly we see a man repel down from the ceiling from the light, and land on the stage.

The lights all shoot on as we see Liam Vaughn standing on the stage. He saunters down to the ring, calm and uninterested in the fans around him. He takes his time until the chorus strikes up again, and he begins to run towards the hard-cam side of the ring, sliding across the ring apron and spinning himself through the ropes. Just as fast as his burst of energy came, it went away and he nonchalantly stumbles backward into a corner as he waits for the match to start.

A chaotic scramble? Must be an NVR show. The match starts with everyone jumping on everyone at once. Dona and Squiggly end up finding themselves as an alliance, throwing it back to their old Army of Darkness days. They take down Liam and Darby as Brody slides out and hides beneath the apron. As soon as AoD are the last two standing, they turn to each other AND SPIT MIST AT EACH OTHER!!! Venomous Mist and Giggle Juice mix in the air and cancel each other out. Squiggly and Dona laugh before going straight into a strike exchange. The Clown Prince of Grime hits a big boot that essentially shoves Dona into the ropes and she SPRINGOBARDS BACK WITH A MOONSAULT!!! Dona hypes the crowd as Brody goes to capitalize. He sneaks up behind her and hits a BACK SUPLEX!!! He poses over her and starts to flex as Liam Vaughn runs up on him with a RUNNING KNEE STRIKE!!! Liam goes for the pin on Dona… 1… 2… DARBY LEAPS OVER LIAM ONTO THE TURNBUCKLES FOR WIRED TO THE MOON!!! He ends on Liam and Dona both before the referee can hit 3! Darby grabs Liam and heads to the center of the ring for DIRTBIRD!!! He holds on tight for the… 1… 2… SQUIGGLY AND BRODY BREAK IT UP!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: IT’S SO EASY TO LOSE TRACK OF AN OPPONENT IN THESE KINDS OF MATCHES HOW DO YOU EVEN FIND AN OPPORTUNITY TO WIN???

The match starts to simmer down into two main conflicts. Liam and Darby are on one side of the ring, and Dona and Brody are on the other. Squiggly hops between the two, systematically taking down all 4 opponents whenever they get momentum. Once the other wrestlers realize what's going on, they all turn to Squiggly and start to batter him. Squiggly does the classic big-man explosion that sends everyone else to the ropes. Big Boot to Liam that sends him over the ropes. Brody charges at Squiggly, looking for the BLOOPER HEE- THE PUNCHLINE!!! Squiggly knocks Brody out on his feet, but Howitzer rolls out before Squiggly can grab him. Squiggly starts to go after Dona rotten who is rising in the corner, but Darby MacNamara appears on the apron and leaps at him with I’D RATHER BE SHI- SQUIGGLY CATCHES HIM… CHOKESLAM!!! Darby escapes the ring as well as Squiggly howls in laughter. This gives Dona the opportunity she needs to capitalize with a side headlock and a SNAP DDT- SQUIGGLY LIFTS HER AND DUMPS HER ONTO BRODY, LIAM, AND DARBY ON THE OUTSIDE!!! Squiggly sees a big moment as he goes out to the apron. He does some finger guns as he goes to leap onto the other 4 opponents with a CARBY ELBO- THE POOL IS EMPTY!!! NOBODY IS HOME!!! Everyone moved out of the way and Squiggly ended up elbowing the hard ground. He giggles in pain, as he looks up at 4 angry faces. Nervous laughter comes from Squiggly as Darby hits WAXING MOON!!! Brody follows up with THE BLOOPER HEEL!!! Liam Vaughn is next with a THRUST KICK!!! Last but not least, DONA HITS THE CHAINSAW KICK!!! They all roll Squiggly underneath the ring and applaud themselves before TURNING ON EACH OTHER!!! Brody punts Darby in the nuts and throws him into the ring steps. Liam lines up Dona and charges for HAUNT- VENOMOUS MIST!!! Brody rolls Darby in at the same time that Dona rolls Liam in. They get to the top rope of opposite corners and hit simultaneous DIVING HEADBUTTS!!! CHINKILLA!!! TOXICOSIS!!! Simultaneous pins for the… 1-1… 2-2… 3-3-NONO!!! SIMULTANEOUS KICK OUTS!!! SKULL KIDS DON’T SUE US PLEASE!!!

We’re getting down to the nitty-gritty. Everyone is exhausted. Anything hit now is a signature move followed by a 2.99-count, because they’re just that close to winning the match. Out of desperation, Dona, Brody, Liam, and Darby start to stumble to the center of the ring and they all begin to trade shots. Nobody leaves the other behind as they all take turns striking each other. Brody is the first to break free of the chain of strikes, poking Liam in the eye. He goes to kick Darby in the dick again, but Darby catches the leg and whips his leg up for a BACKFLIP… BRODY LANDS ON HIS FEET!!! Brody is astonished and taunts Dar- FAUGH A BALLAGH!!! On the other side of the ring, Dona lights The Warped Enigma up in the corner. She lifts him onto the top rope and climbs up with him for the MIDDLE ROPE BULLDOG!!! Just as she does this, Dona sees Darby going for the… 1… 2… CHAINSAW KICK BY DONA!!! THE FORMER WOMEN’S CHAMPION HAS DONE IT… 1… 2… SQUIGGLY RIPS UP THROUGH THE RING AND DRAGS DONA THROUGH THE MAT!!! You can hear the struggle continue, but neither of them comes back up as Darby, Brody, and Liam start to move. Brody gets to his feet first and chops Vaughn in the throat. He turns to Darby and goes for the DEATHKILL DRI- DARBY BACKDROPS BRODY… AND VAUGHN CATCHES HIM FOR A POWERBOMB!!! Not paying attention to each other, Darby goes to the apron and Vaughn goes to the corner. They both stalk Brody, but Howitzer has nothing left, so as Vaugn charges and Draby springboards, he just falls and stumbles out of the ring. This leads to Darby and Liam colliding, HITTING HAUNTED AND I’D RATHER BE SHINY AT THE SAME TIME!!! BY SHEER PHYSICS ALONE, LIAM VAUGHN FINDS HIMSELF ON TOP FOR THE… 1… 2… 3!!!

As the dust settles and the smoke clears, Jeff the Ref helps Liam Vaughn to his feet and raises his hand. Brody gets up from the ringside and snarls in frustration as he heads to the back. Liam smirks as he looks over the carnage they all left in the ring. Darby grabs his neck as he gets to his feet. He and Liam go nose to nose as they glare into each other’s eyes. Darby calls Liam lucky, but Vaughn sneers and tells MacNamara “Better luck next time, then”. MacNamara balls his fist up, but Vaughn doesn’t give him a chance to use it as he bails out of the ring. They don’t break eye contact until Liam fades into the back. Still, nobody has seen or heard from Dona and Squiggly.

K.T. ANDERSON: I’m starting to like this Vaughngeance kid! He’s weird, he’s cocky, and he’s really fucking good in the ring!

"I Wish" by Cher Lloyd feat T.I. hits the speakers, and a few seconds later Jessica Carter and Natalie Kassidy emerge from the curtain. They stand with their feet roughly at shoulders width apart and raise their right index fingers into the air. At the top of her lungs, Jessica screams out aggressively to let everyone know just how good she and Natalie are. Natalie nods, and barks that nobody could stand up to them.

After a moment of yelling at the fans, the women begin to make their way down the ramp. They start walking with a skip in their step and a scowl on their faces. They look around the venue disapprovingly, still talking about how they’re better than everyone else. Jessica quickly leaps up onto the ring apron, before straddling the middle rope. Natalie rolls into the ring, poses behind Jess, and they both wink at the camera. Nat gives Jess’ backside a slight spank, and then Jessica pulls the rest of her form into the ring. From here, they both back into their corner ready for the match to start.

"No Problem" by Chance the Rapper plays loudly as the crowd looks on in excitement and cheers as Izzy Van Doren and Karen Willow walk out, pausing on top of the ramp. Izzy rips open her vest, throws her head back, and poses at the top of the ramp. They smile and smirk with the fans chanting "PLC!!! PLC!!! PLC!!!". Looking out into the crowd, they begin making their way down, Karen’s hands resting atop her hips. Upon reaching the threshold where the ramp meets the ring mat, Izzy bites her lip, winks at the camera, and slides into the ring. She pops up to her feet and heads to the hard cam side of the ring. Karen makes her way around the ring, slapping hands with several outstretched hands before sliding into the ring, keeping the momentum going by rolling up to her knees. Popping to her feet, Karen runs to the nearest turnbuckle and leaps onto the second rope, screaming out into the sea of fans. Izzy slides her torso in between the top and middle rope. IVD smiles and throws her arms open forming the horns with her hands. Karen unhooks the title before raising it proudly into the air, drawing another chorus of cheers from the fans as the music slowly fades out. Both women drop down to their corner and their eyes widen and their smiles look a little crazed. They pull back and look on at their opponent, eager to get down.

The bell rings and Karen Willow starts against Jessica Carter, the two people who started this whole feud. Karen goes for a tie-up, but Jessica just smacks the crap out of Karen. Willow doesn’t let the shock sink in, she just leaps onto Jessica with a THESZ PRESS!!! They roll around the ring landing mounted punches, as Jessica grabs the ring ropes to get free. Karen lets go, but she reaches for Jess through the ropes and starts to pull her through. Carter drills a forearm into the chin of Karen, staggering her, before leaping out with a SPRINGBOARD REVERSE STO!!! Carter gets behind Willow and throws her with a MOCKINGJAY GERMAN SUPLEX!!! Karen lands by the WCTT corner as Jess tags in Natalie Kassidy. Willow starts to run for Izzy, but JESS KNOCKS IZZY OFF THE ROPES WITH AN ASS KISSER!!! Talie screams “give me that briefcase”, as she grabs Willow by the hair and sets her up for THE NAT LO-NO!!! Karen starts to kick herself free of Natalie. Willow starts to fight back, letting off a series of strikes and climaxing with a WOLF CLAW!!! The eye rake stuns Nat as Karen screams FUCK I- BIG NAT BOOT!!! Karen goes for the crossbody, but gets denied by Natalie! Natalie tags back to Jess and together they hit THE KISS OF DEATH!!! Swinging DDT followed by a curb stomp, as Jess covers and Nat plays defense… 1… 2… IZZY WITH A SPRINGBOARD STAGE DIVE OVER NAT AND ONTO JESS!!!

Izzy eventually makes her way into the match, but it’s not the hot-tag comeback that the crowd wanted. Almost instantly Jess and Natalie steal IVD’s momentum, sending her into the ring post and stomping her into the mat. When Izzy seems good and battered, Jess grabs her for a monkey flip… INTO A NATTICAL SABBATICAL!!! Natalie goes for the pin, BUT KAREN WILLOW PULLS HER OUT OF THE RING!!! Karen lights her up, but Jess runs up and drills Karen with an ASS KISSER!!! They start to beat Karen on the outside, AND THEY GET TAKEN OUT WITH A STAGE DIVE FROM IZZY!!! Both teams now get to their feet and they all start fighting. Steph the Ref gets to an 8 count as all four wrestlers go into the ring. As they all stand to their feet, Natalie runs up on IVD with a SUPER NAT PUNCH!!!! At the same time, Karen hits a WOLF FANG FIST!!! Neither Izzy nor Jess falls to the mat though. In fact, they seemingly no-sell the leaping punches to deliver DUELING HEADLOCK DRIVERS!!! BONNE NUIT AND ADIOS AMIGOS LAND PERFECTLY!!! EVERYONE IS OUT IN THE CENTER OF THE RING!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: WHY COULDN’T NATALIE FALL ON IZZY FOR THE WIN HERE???

Don’t worry, Gemma, it doesn’t. The match starts to look a bit more normal. We get some tag-ins and some back-and-forth from here on in the match. Frustration is on the face of everyone in this match as they continue to fight each other. As we get closer to the end of the match, we see Jess and Izzy trading shots. Jess hits a superkick on Izzy that stuns her and Carter stumbles to her corner for the TA- KAREN HITS NATALIE WITH A FUCK IT OFF THE APRON TO THE FLOOR!!! Jess looks on in horror as Karen slowly gets up and hypes up the fans. Realizing who might be behind her, Jess turns around and ends up eating a KICK AND SNARE!!! IVD quickly gets on top and goes to lock in CORAL FANG!!! Jess kicks her legs, trying to get the ropes as Izzy tries to transition into BLOODY FAN-NO!!! Jess gets to the ropes before Izzy van lock in the submission finish. Izzy lets go of Jess and start to move toward Karen at the corner. Before Izzy can make the tag, Natalie Kassidy screams at Karen to look at her as she RUNS OFF WITH KAREN’S BRIEFCASE!!! Compulsively, Karen chases after Natalie, leaving Izzy high and dry. Izzy looks confused as Jess grabs her from behind and goes to BONNE NU- MACARIA DRIVER!!! Izzy gets to her feet and sets Jess up for ADIOS AMIG- STUNNED SILENCE!!! Jess knows she needs to do something crazy to walk away with official ownership of the NVR R!ZE Briefcase, so she heads to the nearest top turnbuckle. She looks down at Izzy and leaps off with a SHOW STEAL- IVD MOVES OUT OF THE WAY!!! Izzy goes behind… IZZY VAN DRIVER!!! IZZY COVERS FOR THE… 1… 2… 3!!!

Up on the stage, Natalie had stopped to watch Jess hit Show Stealer, but just as Izzy rolled out of the way and hit the IVD, Talie turns around to eat a SPEAR FROM KAREN!!! Willow grabs her briefcase from a prone Natalie Kassidy and counts with the fans for the 3 count. Willow comes running back into the ring to celebrate with Izzy and apologize for leaving the match. IVD says it’s all good and they hug and celebrate the close of the year with a victory!

GEMMA MARCHAND: WHAT A WIN FOR POOR LIFE CHOICES!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: If I was Izzy, I’d turn on Karen right now and take that briefcase for myself.

Julianna is livid backstage. Dig Wednesday was supposed to be Julianna's big victorious return, and it did not play out the way she wanted it to. Julianna talks about how she has built NVR, but there's always someone else who steals her spot at the table from her when they don't deserve that. Reflecting on the pattern in other companies, Julianna members someone else who was trying to snuff her spotlight back when she first started and made it to a main roster. That someone was Gavin Grimes. She talks about how she has grown and evolved and become something bigger than she ever thought she could be, but Grimes is still just stealing spotlights from better younger talents just like he did years ago. Julianna isn't going to take some "champion's slump" again, she refuses. Even more so, she refuses to allow Gavin to have any of her spotlight. She is The Scourge of NVR after all, and she's going to teach Gavin that tonight.

Gavin Grimes reviews his 2022 in NVR. Title shots, 10-second victories, all-time feuds. One would think that was a successful year, but not for Gavin. Since starting his career back in 2015, he has succeeded everywhere he's gone. His standard of work is held higher because he knows he can do better, but NVR has been an experience unlike any other. Wins that should have been easier, losses that never should have happened. If he was an egotistical man, he'd probably be holding every title, but he isn't and he doesn't. Gavin knows exactly who she is, because he's known her whole career, and that's why he knows she's dangerous, especially on her home turf. However, Gavin won't rest until he makes NVR his home turf as well, and it all starts with winning his last match of the year, tonight.

“Deal with the Devil” hits the speakers as Julianna DiMaria appears on the stage, greeted by some boos from the fans in attendance. She ignores them and heads down to the ring with a confident, focused look on her face. Once she heads inside the ring, she cracks her knuckles, indicating she's ready to fight and afterward does the "talk to the hand" gesture toward all the fans that are booing her, displaying another touch of arrogance to get the fans against her even more. She heads to her corner and scoffs at the reaction she's getting as the song fades and she waits for what's coming next.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponent...

The lights go out, and a few spotlights flash to the beat of “Throne” by Bring Me The Horizon begins to play. When the lead singer begins to sing out “Ooooh Ohohohoh Ooooh”, all of the lights turn back on to a blinding white light, as Gavin Grimes stands at the top of the ramp with his arms wide. The intensity of the lights goes down, as Gavin explodes with energy. He hi-fives fans and hypes them up as he heads to the ring. The Cult Classic slides across the apron, before posing for the fans. He goes into the ring and poses one more time in the center of the ring before heading to his corner.

Years of animosity and months of frustration bubble to the surface here as Julianna instantly charges at Gavin following the ring of the bell. She strikes him wildly, but The Cult Classic returns with a flurry of his own. Julianna is quick to whip him into the ropes, but Gavin handsprings off them and goes for a PELE KI- JULIANNA Side steps. Gavin is able to land in a superhero pose, but Julianna hits the ropes and delivers a SHINING WIZARD!!! She covers him for the… 1… 2… Gavin kicks out, but Julianna presses on. She hits a series of stomps on his appendages, before going for another SHINING WIZ- SCHOOL BOY!!! Gavin has her for the… 1… 2… 3NO!!! JULIANNA KICKS OUT!!! Gavin backs up to let Julianna collect herself, and he asks if she’s done yet. Dimaria tells him to fuck off and goes for a running big boo- IT’S A PUP FAKE INTO AN ELBOW!!! Gavin did not see this coming and gets dropped to the mat once again. DiMaria grabs a hand full of Gavin’s hair and sarcastically asks if he’s done yet. She pulls him up to his feet by his ears, and hooks his head for a SWINGING NE- GAVIN COUNTERS INTO THE KING’S CROSSFACE!!! Julianna is scrambling to get out, but Gavin is placed perfectly between her and the ropes. She’s able to wiggle herself out of the body scissors and rolls backward into a pin for the… 1… 2… GAVIN RELEASE- KNEE DROP BY JULIANNA!!! She lands it right on the nose of Gavin as she goes through the ropes and out to the apron. Gavin grabs his face and gets to his feet, but Julianna springboards in with THE SCOURGE!!! She covers him for the… 1… 2… 3NO!!! THE CAPTAIN KICKS OUT!!!

Julianna continues to try and dismantle Gavin. She rakes his face on the ropes and smashes his head on the turnbuckles. When he’s good and softened up, she delivers a FORWARD RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP… INTO MERCEDES BEN- NO!!! Veteran ring awareness by Gavin gets him to the ropes before she can lock it in. Julianna doesn’t break the hold cleanly though, as She whips him into the corner. She hits the opposite side of the ring and tries to hit a HANDSPRING ELBO- GAVIN EVADES… CAPTAIN CUTTER!!! Gavin yells as the crowd starts to chant for him. Julianna tries to get up, but he catches her with a BUZZSAW KICK!!! Gavin covers her for the… 1… 2… JULIANNA KICKS OUT!!! Gavin pulls her up for THE CROWN- JULIANNA SHOVES HIM INTO THE ROPES. Gavin tries to rebound and take back control of the match, BUT JULIANNA HITS A JAWBREAKER!!! Gavin drops to a knee and Julianna calls NVR “Her House” and that Gavin isn’t welcome here, but the fans disagree. She tells them all to shut up as she goes for the DIMARIA CO- ANOTHER CAPTAIN CUTTER!!! Julianna tries to fight back to her feet, but she gets silenced by a SAC-TOWN KICK!!! DiMaria goes down for the… 1... .2… JULIANNA COUNTERS INTOA CRUCIFIX PIN… 1… 2… GAVIN ROLLS THROUGH TO HIS FEET!!! Gavin hooks the head of DiMaria and foes for THE CROWN- JULIANNA DROPS TO A KNEE AND HITS A LOW BLOW ON GAVIN!!! JEFF THE REF CALLS FOR THE BELL!!!

Julianna continues to stomp on and abuse Gavin, despite Jeff the Ref telling her to stop. She spits on Gavin and starts to march around the ring in anger. Security guards come running down to the ring to try and separate the two. They get Julianna onto the apron as Gavin tries to get to his feet, but JULIANNA SPRINGBOARDS BACK INTO THE RING WITH THE SCOU- SAC-TOWN KICK!!! Gavin shoots her out of the sky. Julianna tries to get up and they try to get at each other, but they have been separated once again. This time, for good.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: A shame that this match had to come to this.

GEMMA MARCHAND: I just don’t understand what could be going through Julianna’s mind right now.

DJ Danger’s music plays as the lights start to go in and out with the beat. As the first verse of Action Bronson’s “Dmtri” begins to play, DJ shoots out of the curtain with his arms raised. He takes a look out to the crowd with a smile. DJ Danger begins to go down the ramp, smiling at the fans as he looks out around the arena. He takes a moment to soak in the atmosphere, before running up and sliding into the ring. The New Danger heads to the corner, climbs up to the middle rope, and poses for the fans before his music dies.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And now, the champion...

#1 by Nelly plays as the colors of the Mexican flag strobes all over the arena as Diego comes out of the curtains. He does a prayer to his mentor, and waves hello at the camera to his sister Daya. Diego starts to walk down to the ring and hi-fives as many fans as he can before he slides to the ring and gives a shout-out to the man upstairs before he warms up for his opponent and acknowledges the crowd.

Diego Matias and DJ Danger go into a stiff grapple, and Diego overpowers DJ with a head and arm takedown. Danger rolls through and rushes Matias with his DE-KNEE-RO... NO!!! At the last second Diego Matias sidesteps him. He then locks DJ Danger looking for ACE LARI- NO!!! DJ fights him off with a series of back elbows. Matias is forced to release him, Danger comes off the far ropes but Diego backs away then pulls down the top rope, and DJ Danger crashes to the mat on the outside. Diego Matias now with a full head of steam launches himself with a TOPE SUICID- NOBODY HOME!!! The Challenger sidesteps and Matias crashes into the ring barricade! Quickly DJ grabs Diego and hurls him back into the ring. Diego Matias is on his feet but stumbling, he has no idea where he is until DJ Danger puts him down with the MICHINOKU DRIVER!!! He covers the champions for the... 1... 2... DIEGO KICKS OUT!!! DJ Danger reigns down some hammerfist across Matias’s temple then pins him again... 1... 2-NO!!! ANOTHER KICKOUT!!! A few more elbows now from DJ as Diego tries covering up, and frustratingly DJ Danger pins him again... 1- A THIRD KICK OUT!!! Danger goes to the ring apron, trash-talking a still-downed Diego Matias, and then launches himself with a SPRINGBOARD- IT DOESN'T MATTER, BECAUSE DIEGO SHOOTS HIM OUT OF THE SKY!!! Diego catches him in the air with a dropkick to the chest and immediately pins him... 1... 2... NOW IT'S DJ WITH THE KICK OUT!!! They both get to their feet and Matias tries to hook the head for Tres Amigos, but DJ breaks out. Irish Whip to the corner and Diego saves himself with an escalera up to the top rope and dives back with a BACK ELBO- GERMAN SUPLEX BY DJ DANGER!!! DJ keeps the waistlock and floats back up to his feet before spinning The Champion around for a NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB!!! Diego covers for the... 1... 2... DIEGO ONCE AGAIN GETS THE ARM UP!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: DJ DANGER IS DOING EVERYTHING IN HIS POWER TO WALK AWAY AS R!ZE CHAMPION!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: DIEGO IS STARTING TO STRUGGLE WITH THOSE KICK OUTS!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: THAT DANGER KID IS ABOUT TO PLAY SPOILER HERE AND FACE TAPP IN BRAZIL!!!

Not wasting any time, Matias is quick to lead a comeback. Despite DJ laying into him with strikes and slams, Diego has the fans behind him as he catches Danger with a spin kick. DJ is staggered but still tries to fight back. DJ lands a drop toe-hold and tries to go for an STF, but Diego counter-grapples his way out f the submission attempt. DJ goes for a takedown, but Matias stuffs it and plants DJ with a HAMMERLOCK DDT!!! Riding the wave of momentum, Diego heads up to the top rope, and has DJ Danger positioned for the TRIBUTE TO THE KI- WAIT!! Diego has to pause as Danger grabs STEPH THE REF!!! He seems to be complaining about whatever, the official demands DJ release her. Diego has to climb down and come to DJ Danger and that’s when Danger kicks him in the kneecap! DJ lured him in and now has Diego Matias up for the DANGER DRIVE-NO!!! Madly Matias kicks his feet and is able to slip out the back, preventing himself from possible defeat. Diego shoves DJ Danger into the corner, trying to get some separation between them but Danger leaps up onto the second turnbuckle and catches Matias with a springboard rotating crossbody! The referee goes to make the pin but Diego Matias rolls through using DJ Danger’s momentum against him! Matias heaves DJ off the mat into a powerslam position but then impressively turns that into a suplex as he drops Danger back to the canvas. Diego isn’t finished as he rotates his hip and connects a second suplex, another rotation of the hips follows, and Matias puts DJ Danger down with the brainbuster! Diego Matias climbs to the top rope for a second time but there’s nothing stopping him from connecting with TRIBUTE FOR THE KING!!! He hooks the leg and secures the... 1... 2... 3!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... AND STILL NVR R!ZE CHAMPION... DIEGO MATIAS!!!

Diego staggers to his feet, but he doesn't even get to enjoy the moment. Classic Man Remix begins to play as Tapp Addams walks out onto the stage with his American Thunder Dome trophy high in the air. Diego starts to raise his R!ZE Championship, but Tapp yells at him to stop. He yells that he isn't facing Diego at Fim Do Mundo, he's facing "the other guy. Diego shakes his head and says Corazon Negro isn't here, but Tapp shouts at him again. Tapp threatens to revoke the match if Diego doesn't play when the lights turn off. Suddenly the turn back on, but neither Diego Matias nor Corazon Negro are in the ring. This might be a shock to some, but to Tapp, this was a nightmare because standing right in front of him was THE BLACK HEART OF NVR WRESTLING!!! Tapp drops to the floor, nearly breaking his Thunder Dome Trophy as Corazon Negro raises his NVR R!ZE Championship and tells him that "Te vere en Brasil". The lights go out and The NVR R!ZE Champion is gone. Tapp recovers and raises his trophy high as the crowd taunts him.

GEMMA MARCHAND: THE STAGE IS SET FOR FIM DO MUNDO!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: DIEGO IS GONNA HAVE TO RENAME HIMSELF TO HEART FAILURE AFTER TAPP IS THROUGH WITH HIM!!!

Somewhere in the back of Studio Merlot is apparently the TJS 4 NEWS studio. We see Kai Urigawa and Teddy JS sitting at the main anchor desk. Teddy welcomes everyone to this very special TJS ONI 4 NEWS broadcast. He introduces Kai, but Kai just stares into the camera with a stone face. TJS nods and talks about how they're facing the stable that has kept NVR in a chokehold since they stepped into this company. He goes through the different accolades that STRONGHOLD has gotten over the last year, and it seems to almost overwhelm Teddy as he reads it, but he shakes it off. He asks Kai if he has anything to add, but Kai continues to just stare into the camera. Teddy says despite the clear on-paper advantage belonging to their opponents, they have a forecast for STRONGHOLD and throw it over to "Champion Weatherman", Naoki Ojima. Naoki is the only member of ONI playing along, as he stands before a green screen and shows that a "Chop Front" is coming their way, followed by a "Storm of Suplexes", and lastly, a "Drought of Winning" as ONI secure the victory due to their "Unpredictable Nature... just like the weather". Naoki throws it back to TJS and Kai, and again Kai ignores Teddy's banter. Teddy tries to throw it over to "Reo in Sports", but Reo isn't on camera where he should be. He's smoking a cigar and talking to a ring rat just off-camera. When Teddy calls back to Reo, Ojima turns around and storms over to Teddy. He slams his fists on the table and says all of this is boring and stupid, and that the only reason Teddy is with ONI tonight is due to TJS getting in their business. He tells Teddy he will never be ONI, and that if he fails them tonight, Teddy won't survive to make it out of Studio Merlot. Reo calls for actual ONI members to leave so they can get ready, and Kai leaves immediately. Maoki leaves as well, but much more reluctantly. Teddy tries to salvage the bit by signing off, but it's very obvious he is nervous about any potential losses.

PREVIOUSLY RECORDED...

STRONGHOLD is on their tour bus. Every ounce of merchandise Tapp and STRONGHOLD have ever decorates the wall as we open to Donnie, Adrianna, Tapp, Freddie, and Mo all sitting on the bus bench, with their titles and trophies sitting on the table. Freddie starts off by talking about every team he and Donnie have ever beaten. Tapp then goes on to talk about all of the wrestling icons he has beaten. Adrianna talks about the prospects she's been wanting to face since returning to wrestling. Lastly, Donnie says that none of those names were "ONI, Reo Ojima, Naoki Ojima, Kai Urigawa, or TJS. Mo breaks it down about how this is essentially charity for STRONGHOLD. They win nothing by beating ONI, but he knows how important exposure is for those in this industry. Mo Mooney brings up that his clients are the greatest thing in professional wrestling, and that they have been untouchable since they all joined forces. Tapp brings up that he already beat Myojin tonight, but even at less than 100% he knows he could beat all of them singlehandedly, so having his handpicked accomplices with him will make it impossible for any member of ONI to even walk out of the ring of their own accord. Freddie chimes in, roasting Teddy for being a fake news anchor, and tells him that the only scoop he will ever get, besides STRONGHOLD WINS LOL, is the catshit out of the litterbox that Teddy undoubtedly has because he's a lonely loser. Adrianna talks about how Naoki is afraid of her and that she is going to personally eliminate him tonight and work her way back into taking his title from him too. Lastly, Donnie mentions that this will be so easy, they probably won't even need Mo at ringside with them to play interference. The rest of STRONGHOLD looks at him with confusion, and Prower backs up by saying that any cheating, interference, etc would be a waste because it's such an easy dub. Mo and Tapp don't look super convinced, but Adri and Freddie completely agree and double down that ONI sucks. Even if there is a bit of disagreement there, they all agree that STRONGHOLD applies the pressure and that they will end the year still being the best team to ever step in NVR Wrestling or even the world.

We hear the calm strings pipe through the PA as the tron/screens slowly reveal an ONI logo. Finally, the beat kicks in, and out of the black curtain comes Kai Urigawa, Naoki Ojima, and Reo Ojima, collectively known as ONI. Urigawa crouches, bouncing from side to side, as Ojima lights a Cigar behind him. Naoki looks out to the crowd and pauses as Urigawa puts his mouthguard in. Suddenly the ONI Logo changes to TJS 4 NEWS!!! Teddy and his News Crew come out. Teddy, Kai, Naoki, and Reo all look at each other and then at the titantron where ONI and TJS 4 NEWS have collided together to create ONI 4 NEWS!!! All 4 men bump fists as they make their way down the ring. Urigawa leads the way, mimicking punches toward the camera as Reo continues to smoke and ignore the crowd. Naoki is busy high-fiving all of the fans and TJS is getting bumper shots for later. Urigawa slides into the ring as Reo climbs up onto the apron, steps in, and up to the top turnbuckle. Naoki rolls into the middle of the ring and raises his right hand as TJS climbs up the adjacent turnbuckles and backflips into the ring. Reo ashes his cigar and joins the rest of ONI 4 NEWS in the center of the ring. Each man with a focused grimace on their face.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponents...

The intro to Jaden Smith's smash hit "Icon" reverberates through the speakers as the crowd comes alive. The voice of Freddie Florentino can be heard over the first 10 seconds of the intro:

FREDDIE FLORENTINO: GRAB YA TAG ROPE AND COUNT TO FUCK! STRONGHOLD IN THE MOTHERFUCKIN HOUSE… CABRÓNS!"

The fans chant along with him. Once the song kicks in and the first "whoa" hits, Adrianna, with a STRONGHOLD flag in hand, Tapp Addams with the ATD Trophy in hand, Donnie with one tag title, Freddie Florentino carrying the other, and Mo Mooney burst out from behind the curtain with Jaden Smith's flow guiding them out.

Freddie is vibin to the track, pumping his fist for every whoa and woo, while Donnie is already talkin' that shit to the front row, letting them know that they're about to sit in on an exhibition. Tapp tells Mo to handle their light work, taunting fans as well as Adrianna stays focused and slides into the ring. STRONGHOLD make their way down to the ring, turning their attention to the match at hand as they scale the turnbuckles. Freddie hunches over, lowering his sunglasses down the bridge of his nose and running his mouth as Donnie does the same while holding the NVR Tag Title high for all to see. Adri’s lanky form climbs the middle rope, leaning back against the top as she finally leers out the crowd with a sneer and rolls backward over the top rope, and meets the rest of her stablemates. Tapp slides into the ring on his stomach and slaps the canvas three times before hopping up. He "Runs the ropes" and arrogantly poses in the center of the ring by kissing his hands and spreading them out in the air as their music fades out. They give Mo the titles, trophy, and flag as they all begin to warm up for the match.

The two teams start to file onto the apron of their corners as they both decide who will start the match. The Team Captain for ONI, Reo Ojima, steps out for his team and barks at STRONGHOLD to make a decision, but there seem to be some arguments early on. Tapp doesn’t want to start, as he had a match already, but traditionally the leaders start matches like this off. Donnie shoves Tapp a bit and decides he’s going to start. Ojima starts throwing wild strikes as he gets up, as Donnie goes low and drives him into STRONGHOLD’s corner. Tag to Freddie and now the Tag Champs try to take control. You can tell Reo is a bit flustered by that, but Freddie doesn’t let Ojima regroup. He grabs him in a wristlock and goes for POETIC ELEVATION!!! This time Ojima is caught in a full-fledged armbar, but he keeps moving. Reo is able to get back to his feet he stacks Freddie up. The strength of the 30-year veteran is on display as he deadlifts Freddie up enough for him to make it to his corner and tag out. He keeps Freddie pinned to the mat as Kai Urigawa slingshots over the top rope with a DOUBLE FOOT STOMP TO THE FACE OF FREDDIE!!! Ojima and Freddie release each other as Kai hits a knee lift that sends Florentino into the corner. Kai stomps on Freddie a few times before tagging in Reo again. Ojima stomps Freddie this time, tagging in his son soon and going for a third set of stomps. Teddy has his microphone and is doing a play-by-pay for TJS 4 News when he gets tagged. They start trading strikes as both look to knock out the other. Adri boots Ojima in the gut, doubling him over, and she goes for a spinning back- LARIAT BY NAOKI!!! Exploder suplex sends Adri into the corner as he comes up with an OJIMA SPLASH!!! Before he could hit the tornado DDT, Tapp decides to tag in. Naoki hits the DDT anyway, unaware of the tag, but as he gets up, TAPP HITS A CHOPBLOCK!!! He goes instantly starts to lock in the ACHILLES RE- SPEAR BY REO!!! Kai and Teddy aren’t far behind as Donnie and Freddie enter the ring as well. The News Crew and Mo Mooney get on the apron to cheer on their sides as Jeff the Ref starts to separate everyone and get the match back in order.

As the match comes back, we have the Goldenweight Champion and the 2022 American Thunder Dome Winner grappling for control in the center of the ring. Tapp is on his back, trying to trick Naoki into getting in the mount, but instead, Ojima grabs a leg and locks in a single-leg Boston Crab. Tapp starts to crawl to the corner, pushing himself up to alleviate some of that pressure. Tapp reaches for Freddie, but Donnie is the one holding the tag rope, so he tags in instead. Springboard by Donnie, drilling a knee in the back of Naoki’s head. Prower goes for a North-South Choke, hoping to transition into a guillotine, but Naoki desperately hits a RELEASE NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX!!! Ojima starts to stagger and he gets the tag to Kai. Kai rushes Donnie with a running PENALTY KI- PROWER CATCHES THE KICK… HEEL HOOK!!! Kai instantly goes on the defensive, trying to kick himself free with his free foot. Urigawa tries to roll free and get up, but he just can’t escape. Donnie tells Kai to submit, and Kai flips him off, so Donnie wrenches harder… AND KAI TAPS OUT!!!

Donnie starts throwing wild kicks and punches and with one punch, TJS catches him in an arm drag for the TJS SPECIAL!!! The pin goes for a… 1… 2… DONNIE KICKS OUT!!! Donnie gets behind Teddy and throws him for a LEG-HOOK BELLY-TO-BACK SUPLEX… BUT TEDDY ROLLS TO HIS FEET!!! As the remainder of ONI collects themselves and regroup, Donnie can be seen at ringside talking to Mo, there’s a sense of frustration between both of them, but the microphones can’t seem to pick up what they’re bickering about. Finally, Naoki comes in, and instantly, Freddie starts booting him before throwing him across the ring with a suplex. TJS gets the tag back in first, and charges at Freddie, but Florentino barrel rolls through the ropes for a JUMPIUNG NECKBREAKER!!! He holds on to Teddy and goes for SUNSET MASSA- STUN DOG MILLIONAIRE!!! Freddie nearly does a flip from the recoil on that stunner. Naoki sees an opening and runs across the ring, bumping Adrianna off the Apron with TANK, AND FOLLOWS UP WITH AN EMERALD TRIANGLE MOONSAULT ON THE REST OF STRONGHOLD!!! Mo Mooney calls them a bunch of snitches and chases them to the back. Wilde continues to distract Jeff the Ref as Tapp lines Naoki up to HIT HI MWIHT THE TROPH- WAIT!!! Donnie gets between them. He says they don’t have to cheat, they still have the advantage. Tapp tells Donnie to move, but Prower says that he can win this right. Tapp drops the trophy and nods, giving the ring to Donnie. As Prower turns around, HE’S HIT BY TANK!!! Naoki knocks Adrianna and Tapp off the apron, then follows up by dragging Donnie to the center of the ring. You’d think the strikes followed by the lariat/leg sweep combo would put her away, but Naoki and TJS are trying to make the rest of ONI proud. They set Adri up for a MODIFIED ONI SPECIAL!!! Instead of Roundhouse/Chaos Theory Armbar combo, they hit a Superkick/Tiger Suplex into a Cattle Mutilation!!! Adrianna refuses to tap, but it looks like she may go the way of Kai Urigawa. Just as she looks like she might give up TAPP COMES FLYING IN WITH A DESPERATION FROGGY BOW DROP!!! Tapp mounts Naoki and starts to drill elbows into the face of The Goldenweight Champion. Teddy holds his arm as Jeff the Ref helps him to his feet, but Teddy collapses down. Kai, Reo, Naoki, and The News Crew make their way to the ring to help Teddy up to his feet. Adrianna rolls out of the ring as ONI goes in, but the crowd actually gives her a good reaction all things considered. Naoki holds Teddy up to his feet as Mike Stanley and Cam Rollins get a good picture of him and bring the boom mic closer to him. TJS throws up a thumb, showing he is actually conscious, and Kai pats him on the back, showing a bit of love for his frienemy. Reo watches all of this without joining in, smoking a cigar. Teddy calls for his microphone, so he can do a TJS 4 NEWS sign-off, but Reo walks up and steals it from him. The entire place goes silent as Naoki and Kai look on with caution. Reo looks at Teddy and points at him.

REO OJIMA: BREAKING NEWS… TJS IS ONI!!!

Eruption from the fans as he gives Teddy a thumbs up and raises his hand. Together they all pose for the TJS 4 NEWS crew and celebrate their win.
