VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first...

Trumpets blast throughout the arena as TANK by the Seatbelts plays. The arena fills with cheers as Naoki Ojima makes his way out. Sporting a Maximum Japan jacket, the rookie waves to the crowd as he quickly makes his way to the ring. Rolling inside Naoki stands in the middle of the ring and raises his right hand in the air as green and white streamers fill the ring. Stepping back Naoki takes his jacket off and tosses it outside.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponent...

The lights in the arena dim as two spotlights hit the entrance ramp. On The Run by The Seatbelts begins to play and the crowd gives a mixed reaction to the veteran wrestler Reo Ojima. Stepping out and making his way down the ramp, Reo has his face covered with a black towel. Stepping inside the ring, Reo makes his way over to a corner and does a few stretches before taking the towel off his head and tossing it to one of the young boys. Taking a mouthguard off his ear, he places it in his mouth and gets ready for his match.

Almost surprisingly, this match starts off very technical. Reo tries to impose his size and strength advantage, but Naoki’s stamina and athleticism are able to even everything out. Reo is able to get a side headlock in and marches his son around to embarrass him. Reo grinds his fist into the face of Naoki, but Naoki hits a SAITO SUPLEX!!! Naoki goes into a back mount and tries for a deadlift German, but Reo breaks free. They trade some strikes, with Reo really getting in there while trying to embarrass his son. Naoki shoots behind, but Reo is right there with a back elbow. A staggered Naoki tries to recover, but his father delivers DEATH BY 1000 CUTS!!! Reo back into the ropes, looking for a stiff LARI- NAOKI BLOCKS IT!!! With both arms up, Naoki manages to stop the lariat AND DELIVERS HIS OWN DEATH BY 1000 CUTS!!! Now Naoki goes into the ropes for the LARI- PUMP KICK BY REO!!! NOW THEY BOTH HIT DEATH BY 1000 CUTS!!! They both go into the ropes and HIT A DOUBLE LARIAT!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: REO OJIMA HAS TAUGHT HIS SON EVERYTHING HE KNOWS, AND NOW NAOKI IS USING IT AGAINST HIM!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: YEA, BUT HE DOESN’T KNOW EVERYTHING REO KNOWS!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: Way to be cliched, K.T.

Reo’s getting gassed, but every strike he lands is super impactful. Naoki uses his superior stamina to withstand the onslaught. Naoki tries to wrestle his father to the mat, but with the last of The Stone Gargoyle's energy, he scrambles to the ropes. Naoki backs away to give a clean break, but when he comes back in to lock up, Reo hits him with a stiff chop to the top of his head. Throwing Naoki into the ropes, Reo catches him on the rebound with a SPINEBUSTER!!! Taking a page from his father’s book, The Emerald Tiger tries to make it to the ropes before Reo could pin him. However, Reo grabs him up by the waist and goes for the OJIMA SPECI-NO!!! Naoki is able to grab onto the middle rope last second to prevent the O’Connor Roll. Reo rolls backward to his knees, trying to get to his base, BUT NAOKI HITS TANK!!! His father slumps but doesn’t fall. Naoki knows his father won’t go down that easy, so he shoots behind and hits LOVE AND HONOR!!! The Tiger Suplex into the Cattle Mutilation Armbar has Reo stuck in the center of the ring!!! Naoki screams for his father to tap, but Reo tells Naoki to break his arms. Naoki refuses to break his father’s arms, but Reo continues to shout. Reo tries to break out while Naoki constantly readjusts to prevent him from doing so. Reo looks like he might tap, but he refuses, and so, instead of tapping or snapping, REO ENDS UP NAPPING!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA SUBMISSION... NAOKI OJIMA!!!

Naoki struggles to his feet after a stiff match with his father. Both physically and emotionally exhausted, he can only celebrate so much without feeling a bit of guilt. Naoki turns to his father, who is starting to come back to his senses and tries to help him back up. Reo shoves Naoki away with his last bit of energy. Naoki looks frustrated, wishing this was all just over already. He returns to his father as Reo tries to pull himself up using the ropes. Naoki reaches out to help his father, but REO ROCKS HIM WITH A FOREARM STRIKE!!! Reo squats down next to Naoki and tells him “If you were a real man, you would have made sure I didn’t get up ever again.” Naoki pops up and gets into Reo’s face, about to tell him that his dad is just jealous, but Reo instead HUGS HIS SON!!! We get a second and a half of sportsmanship and fatherly love before Reo acts as if nothing happened, and together the Ojimas walk off.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: This is what professional wrestling is all about. Sharing our passions with our loved ones, and watching them grow into their own in this industry.

GEMMA MARCHAND: It was a bit rocky for both of these men, but I’m glad father and son could come together in the end.

K.T. ANDERSON: Reo is constantly teaching Naoki how not to be a little bitch. Maybe one day, he’ll actually retain that information.

As soon as the opening of “Comin’ to Your City” by Big & Rich plays, Jack Danielson and Deadeye Weston come running through different sides of the crowd. Both men grab drinks from and yuck it up with the fans, as they make their way to the ringside area. Deadeye enters the ring and hypes up the crowd, as Jack grabs some beers from a cooler underneath the ring. Jack slides into the ring and hands his cousin some beers. Together, they smash all 4 beers and down them, letting out a loud “YEE YEE” as soon as they finish their beverages.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponents...

The lights in the arena go dark as Valhalla" by Blind Guardian begins to play. A massive figure walks through the curtain to a chorus of boos. On the screen, The Australian Behemoth flashes quickly followed by the rune of the god Odin. The lights slowly fade in as Danela Alans is revealed and her name appears on the screen in dripping blood. Danela sneers at the crowd while she stomps her way to the ring. She grasps the top rope when she reaches the apron and pulls herself into the ring. Danela gives a wry smile as she draws a line in the sand and does a massive stomp in the middle inviting her opponent to battle. She lets out a war cry as her music fades.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And her partner…

The intro to "Don't Stop" by 5 Seconds of Summer begins to play as the studio lights go down and the spotlights point to the stage area. Within a few seconds, Bree Smith struts out from behind the correct and she does a few signature poses on the stage. As Luke Hemmings and the rest of 5SoS yell out the chorus, Bree kicks it into high gear, jogging down the ramp, high-fiving as many fans as she can as she goes down to and around the ring. Once she's made it all the way around the ring once, she rolls into it and flexes. Everyone cheers for the Breehemoth as she backs into the corner.

Jack is drinking beer on the apron, so Deadeye starts for the visiting team as Dana Alans starts the match for Baehemoths. Dana comes rushing in, but Weston is right there to stop her with a tie-up. He starts to drive her into the ropes, but Dana kicks him in the gut. Alans hits a hip toss and tries to drop a knee on the Deadeye, but Weston rolls out of the way. Dana throws some wild punches as Deadeye backsteps. She lunges forward, but he pops her up FOR THE STUN GUN!!! Deadeye lifts her back to his shoulders and tries to FORTUNATE SO-NO!!! Dana shoves Deadeye into the corner instead. Jack finishes his beer and makes a blind tag as Dana tries to hit Deadeye with RIDE THE LIGHT-NO!!! Both men move out of the way and Dana kicks the top turnbuckle instead. She turns around into a double punch by Brew Collar and Jack hits her with a COUNTRY ROADS BUCKLEBOMB!!! Dana slumps in the corner and Jack whips Deadeye at her with the TUESDAY NIGHT SPECIAL!!! The Bronco buster hits, as Deadeye grinds her face. Weston lifts Dana and whips her into Jack for ONE GERMAN… ONE SPLASH… ONE KNEE-R!!! Jack covers Dana for the… 1… 2… BREE BREAKS IT UP!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: THAT DRUBK BASTARD JACK DANIELSON NEARLY GOT THE WIN!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: I would not mind getting a Tuesday Special… I MEAN WHAT A MANUEVER!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: Nice recovery by Gemma, AND NICE RECOVERY FROM THE BAEHEMOTHS!!!

Bree tags in and now the crowd clamors for the family battle we’re about to witness. Jack and Bree circle the ring until Jack rolls out of the ring and grabs two more beers. He offers Bree one, but Bree rejects the beer. Jack says more for him and attempts to down both beers, BUT BREE SHOOTS BEHIND FOR THE POWER OF BREE!!! The triple German suplexes disorient Jack, but he’s a master of walking disoriented, so he comes right back with a SOUR BA- BREE HITS ANOTHER POWER OF BREE!!! A little more disoriented, but still not down, Jack tries for another SOUR BA-STILL NO!!! Bree ducks it again, is she going for a third triple German? No, Jack spins around with a back elbow, but Bree cracks him with a punch to the gut. She shoots behind for IT’S BREELECTRIC!!! The electric chair driver lands perfectly in the middle of the ring. She holds on for the… 1… 2… DEADEYE FOR THE SAVE!!! Deadeye and Bree trade strikes, but here comes DANA WITH A HELLISH REBUKE… ON BREE!!! Deadeye shoved Bree in the way, but Dana doesn’t skip a beat, throwing punches at Weston. They trade shots as Jack gets to his feet and grabs Bree. Jack and Dana find themselves hooking the heads of their opponents and hitting them up for TWIN X-PLEXES!!! Jack’s Dishonorable Discharge and Dana’s Crash landing are identical. All control has been lost as Dana and Jack turn on each other and hit ROARING FOUR-ARMS ON EACH OTHER!!! EVERYONE IS DOWN!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: WHO THE HELL IS LEGAL ANYMORE???

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: I think it’s still Jack and Bree, but we need to get the others out of the ring.

GEMMA MARCHAND: WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO GET A WINNER IN THIS MATCH?!?

The chaos calms down, and we find ourselves with Jack and Bree GETTING THE HOT TAG!!! Dana and Deadeye are back at it again with the wild strikes. Deadeye’s weight and strength advantage is giving him the momentum he needs to hook Dana up and HOOK’EM!!! He drills her head into the mat and goes back in for the tag with Jack, who just refueled himself with a beer like he’s Popeye with Spinach. As Dana gets to her feet, she doesn’t seem to realize Brew Collar is on either side of her, flipping into the ring for SWING LOW, SWEET LARI- DANA DROPS TO HER KNEES AND THE BOYS HIT EACH OTHER!!! They’re down and Dana has the long crawl to the corner. She barely makes it, but she lunges last minute and GETS THE TAG!!! Bree runs up with a big forearm to Deadeye. She ducks a wild punch from Jack and hits a Belly-to-Belly Slam. Deadeye tries to hit her with DEADEY- BREE SHOW!!! Weston is taken down and he rolls out. Dana is back to her feet and Bree thrusts Jack at her, lifting him up for BAEHEMOTH’S WRATH!!! Bree covers while Dana hits a STEP-UP TOPE CON HILO ONTO DEADEYE!!! The referee counts… 1… 2… 3!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... BREE SMITH AND DANA ALANS… BAEHEMOTHS!!!

Dana rushes into the ring and celebrates with Bree. This big inter-promotional match gets them excited, as it should put them back into the championship picture. As Bree and Dana celebrate, Jack and Deadeye slide into the ring. Jack has a 6 pack in his hands. He hands 1 to Bree, 1 to Dana, 2 to Deadeye, and keeps 2 for himself. They all smash the beers together and start chugging!!! The crowd erupts in appreciation for this proper redneck celebration!

K.T. ANDERSON: DAMN REDNECKS RUIN EVERYTHING!!!

The music kicks through the PA as Kai steps through the curtain. He’s all smiles, but it’s just the calm before the storm. He pulls his mouthguard from his vest pocket and puts it in. The switch is flipped and Kai steps down the aisle quickly to the ring.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: "Coming down the aisle: From Jacksonville, FL; he weighs in 177 lbs, Kai URIGAAAAWAAAAA!!!"

Kai hops up onto the apron hard cam side, looks over his shoulder at his opponent, and enters the ring. Urigawa takes off his vest and falls into the corner, doing some last-minute stretching.

“All The Thing She Said” by Poppy plays and the arena lights flicker between pink and darkness while thick smoke fills the stage. As the beat kicks in, Karen Willow steps through the curtain - illuminated by a single spotlight - and she surveys the fans with narrowed eyes. The corners of her mouth slowly curl upwards before Karen saunters down the ramp. As she gets to the ringside, Karen climbs through the ropes and paces around the ring like a caged animal, never taking her eyes off the opponent as the music fades out.

A minor clash in styles, as Karen’s chaotic brawling style meets the well-educated striking of Kai. The Demon of DUUUUVVVAAAALLL takes an early lead, checking some kicks from Karen before pressing the attack. He starts to light her up in the corner until Jeff the Ref separates them for a break. It’s not clean though, as Karen rakes his eyes with WOLF CLAW!!! Karen tries to take him down and lock in the Wolf Hurricane, but Kai is too smart and fights out. He takes her down with a roll, trying to lock in a knee bar. When that doesn’t work, Kai bridges up into a STRETCH MUFFLER!!! Karen is just close enough to get to the ropes and again we need the wrestlers to be separated. This time, it’s Kai with the dirty break, as he hits Karen with a spinning heel kick as she gets to her base. Kai rolls her into the middle of the ring with a snapmare, and runs at her with a PENALTY KI- NO!!! Karen rolls backward and makes it to her feet. She shoots behind and hits BLOODY SAUCE!!! Kai fights to his feet, but here comes Karen with WOLF FANG FI- KIRIFUDA CLUTCH!!! Kai doesn’t have it all the way cinched in, as he tries to go to the mat, but Karen starts backpedaling. She drives them both into the corner and again we get a break. Kai tries to hit her in the back of the head, but Karen actually shoots behind him. She goes onto the middle turnbuckle for a FUCK I- SHE’S CAUGHT ON HIS SHOULDERS… USHIGOROSHI!!! Karen tries to get up, but Kai with a reverse headlock takedown… INTO A BULLDOG CHOKE!!! KAREN HAS NOWHERE TO GO!!! Kai is sure he has her choked out, but with a last-ditch effort, KAREN BITES KAI AND BREAKS THE HOLD!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: Karen used to show how disciplined she was, now she’s just playing dirty with reckless abandon.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: You know a wrestler is desperate when they start biting people.

K.T. ANDERSON: THE KID HAS AN EYE RAKE AS HER SIGNATURE MOVE!!! WE HAVE PEOPLE WHO “LEGALLY” SPIT MIST IN PEOPLE’S EYES!!! SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU TWO!!!

Kai tries to minimize the cheap shots, but they start racking up against him. It’s getting hard to see with a second and third Wolf Claw across the eyes. Fighting through the pain, Kai unloads a combination of kicks that would knock out a lesser wrestler. Karen‘s only support is the ropes right now, as she struggles to even stay awake. Our Guy Kai grabs Karen by the head and suplexes her for the KIRIFUDA CLU- WOLF CLAW BY KAREN!!! AGAIN KAI IS BLINDED!!! Desperate she goes for a VIVI’S BLESSI- KNEE STRIKE TO THE GUT BY URIGAWA!!! Willow still lands her corkscrew splash as they both hit the mat. They get to their feet at the same time and Kai goes for a CORKSCREW ROUNDHOUSE… NO!!! Karen ducks it… KAREN’S WILLOW’S WILD RIDE!!! She rolls up Kai for the… 1… 2… KAI KICKS OUT!!! The low blow is the least of Kai’s worries though as he gets up, JUST TO EAT A WOLF FANG FIST!!! Karen drops for the… 1… 2… 3!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... AND STILL NVR R!ZE CHAMPION!!!

Karen quickly grabs her R!ZE Championship and rolls out of the ring. She holds up three fingers, signifying three successful title defenses. The fans are more boos than cheers now, but Karen doesn’t care. She wants her world title opportunity, and nothing is going to stop her from getting it. Kai grumbles to himself, wondering where ONI was with all of this going on.

GEMMA MARCHAND: KAREN WILLOW STEALS ANOTHER CHEAP TITLE DEFENSE!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: NOBODY GETS ONE OVER MY GUY KAI, BUT DAMN IF I DON’T LOVE THIS NEW KAREN WILLOW!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: Of course you would support this scumbaggery, K.T.!!!

BREAKING NEWS...
A big "Breaking News" flashes across the screen as we open to the "TJS 4 NEWS Room", situated at a table at catering. Teddy sits at the table with his mini-microphone and places a poster that shows his show's logo, which is clearly hand-painted, on the front of the table.

TJS: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I am Teddy JS and this is TJS 4 News. We're coming live from the TJS 4 NEWS Room here in Studio Merlot. The smell of perpetual chili is ripe, and the action will only get better as we dive into a TJS 4 NEWS Exclusive interview. Please welcome my guest at this time... The Last of the Briefcase-ans, Mimi Smith!!!

You can hear the crowd cheer as Mimi sits down.

TJS: Mimi, as you know, I've been watching your run as Ms. Contract in the Briefcase for a while, not necessarily by choice sometimes, and it seems like the closer you get to cash in your briefcase, the farther you get from seeming capable by such by this NVR Roster. How does that make you feel?

Mimi glares at Teddy playfully, as she starts to talk.

MIMI SMITH: Well, Mr. Seville, I feel like I have proven myself time and time again here in NVR. Women's Summit, Tag Titles, this Briefcase, End of the Year awards, I earned this opportunity just as much as anyone else has. And of course, I'm going to have some haters. This wouldn't be my Nevvy Pro House if it wasn't. However, to have someone like Izzy, a girlie who I thought was a good friend of mine, attack me and tell me I'm not worthy. It makes me(me) sad because I would never say these things about her.

TJS: First off, I want to go on record and say that Seville IS NOT my last name. And secondly, is there any way that both of your mothers are named Martha so that you girls can get over this before you get into it tonight?

Mimi raises an eyebrow, missing the reference Teddy is making.

MIMI SMITH: Teddy, you know my mom's name is Cindy. You've literally met her before.

Teddy rolls his eyes.

TJS: So there's no reconciliation before this match?

Mimi shakes her head.

MIMI SMITH: Clearly, Izzy doesn't respect me because she's PB&Jealous. None of us are blind to the fact that she can't challenge for the World Title until Vada loses the belt. We also aren't blind to the fact that she's not the same Izzy who won the Women's Summit back to back and held the Women's and World titles at the same time. Unlike Me(me), she got soft and complacent, and now that I'm rising in the ranks, she is all covered in that PB&Jealous.

Mimi pats her briefcase and looks at TJS with a smile.

MIMI SMITH: But this in my possession means I am the next NVR World Champion, and no matter how hard Izzy tries, she won't be able to take this opportunity from me. This is my golden ticket, and I'm Charlie, only instead of a chocolate factory, this is a Burger King and Mimi wants her whopper meal with the toy inside.

TJS: Any word on when you're gonna cash in that... whopper wrapper... ticket... thing??? Can you give TJS 4 NEWS the insider right here?

He leans in and points to Mimi with his mini-microphone. Mimi shakes her head no, but Teddy raises his eyebrows trying to convince her to change her mind. After a moment of consideration, Mimi gently shoves the microphone out of her face and pulls out a piece of paper.

MIMI SMITH: NO SCOOPS FROM ME UNLESS IT'S ICECREAM, PLEASE!!! However, I do have some questions for you...

Mimi taps the paper on the table.

MIMI SMITH: How quick are you going to beat Lena, JD, and Siobhan tonight?

Teddy takes a moment to think of his answer, trying to play ball with Mimi.

TJS: Well, they're all great competitors, but I'm the only one to challenge for the NVR World Champi-

MIMI SMITH: WHY DO YOU TELL PEOPLE YOUR NAME ISN'T THEODORE JUSTIN SEVILLE???

Teddy shakes his head, trying to get his thoughts together.

TJS: Because it isn't my na-

MIMI SMITH: WHY DID YOU REFUSE TO DEFEND YOUR R!ZE CHAMPIONSHIP AGAINST ME???

“Like This” by Kelly Rowland ft. Eve begins to play as Lena Galante steps out. She walks up to a giant spotlight in the center of the stage and swings her hips before posing. Spice walks down to the ring, ignoring the fans along the way. Lena gets to the ringside and slides across the apron, before springing up and spinning herself through the ropes. She struts to the center of the ring and poses as she waits for her music to stop.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Next to the ring…

The intro to "Symbol of Nevermore" by Superjoint as the crowd gets to their feet. After a few moments, JD Driftwood bursts from the curtain. He waves his arms trying to get the fans hyped, pacing across the stage area and screaming "LET'S FUCKING GO". After a couple of minutes of hype, the verse hits, and he starts bouncing off the barricade, trying to mosh with fans as he makes his way to the ring. JD rolls to the center of the ring pop to his feet throws a middle finger in the air as the fans yell out with him “J F’N D”!!!

The opening line of Vicious by Halestorm plays as the lights all turn red. The first verse continues as a spotlight shines on the stage. The chorus hits and so does Siobhan Mahoney as she steps into her spotlight. She poses at the top of the stage, bending a knee and throwing an arm up so that people can ogle even more of her. She walks down to the ring with the spotlight following her and hears only cheers for herself despite there not being any. The Hot Mess walks up the steps and across the apron posing on the ropes while demanding the referee to open them for her. The referee reluctantly obliges and Siobhan skips to the center of the ring, before pointing to herself and letting everyone know she deserves greatness. The spotlight and her music stop, but Siobhan is still all about herself as she waits for the match to start.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponent...

TJS 4 NEWS appears on the screen. Each letter fades in and out before the other appears as the intro plays. The lights dim slightly aside for a trio of lights which, you guessed it, shine TJS 4 NEWS onto the roof of the building or down onto the ring. TJS appears from behind the curtain with his back to the crowd but spins to stand facing them, legs wide apart, and embraces the crowd. Mike Stanley and Cam Rollins, the TJS 4 NEWS Crew, are right behind TJS as they try to “catch the scoop”. Throwing out a t-shirt to one of the crowd members rampside earns him a pop before he starts to walk down the ramp. TJS raises a finger, then sings the opening lyrics to his theme with the crowd.

TJS grabs the ropes with the small instrumental break and spins to hook the top rope and face the ramp. Mike and Cam catch every moment.

As that riff hits, TJS backflips into the ring and walks around, the lights dimming down to an almost darkened state as the fans' screens light the arena with purple, pink, blue, and red bright screens. TJS then performs a running shooting star press and lands on his feet, pretending it was unseen but the house lights come back on bright just a second after he lands. Mike and Cam high-five because they think they got it. TJS nods his head to his News Crew, as they all enjoy the rest of the song. Even as it fades out, the loyal NVR fans sing it loud and proud with TJS conducting them with one hand.

Reporting live from inside the ring, TJS is trying to give play-by-play as Lena, JD, and Siobhan circle the ring. Despite having a competitive history in NVR, Lena and Siobhan team up to try and take the big man down. They kick his legs hard, but the heavy-handed Redneck Kaiju starts landing his own strikes. JD cracks Lena and Siobhan’s heads together and then shoves them to the mat. Hearing Teddy narrate the encounter, JD turns to him and runs at him, but Teddy slides to the apron. Driftwood reaches over the top rope and grabs a handful of Teddy’s hair. He drags Teddy across the ropes for a HANGMAN’S INVERTED DDT!!! JD pops up to his feet, but turns around into DOUBLE ROUNDHOUSES BY MAHONEY AND GALANTE!!! Instantly, Siobhan goes to throw Lena into the corner, but Lena reverses it and dumps Siobhan to the outside. Lena then quickly returns to Driftwood, who is slowly rising, and hits him with a SCORPION KICK!!! He drops but Lena can’t go for the pin just yet as TJS spins her around for THAT ONE SLAM FROM BAND CA- NO!!! Lena elbows herself free. She charges for the ropes, but Teddy grabs her waistband and pulls her in for the BLUE HARVEST BO-LENA ROLLS BACKWARD!!! Landing on her feet, Galante quickly goes for a DROPDOWN NECKBREAKER!!! She covers TJS for the… 1… 2… KICKOUT!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: I HOPE TJS’ STUPID NEWS CREW CAUGHT ALL THAT!!!

As the match continues, we see momentum get traded all over. JD Driftwood seems to have control the most, as his heavy strikes and reckless attitude allow him to take advantage of his opponents. That being said, the fans are firmly behind TJS. That’s why they get upset when Driftwood lifts Lena, who was trying to cut him down with kicks and throws her into him. JD runs up with a big senton. He tries to pin both, but Teddy and Lena both kick out. As he tries to get up and pick an opponent, Siobhan Mahoney slides in and hits a slingshot BLARNEY STONED!!! JD rolls to the apron and Teddy is back to his feet. He starts to drill rights into Siobhan, but she counters his onslaught with a dropkick to the knee. She hits the ropes and goes for an EIRE RAI- BLU RAY DRIVER!!! He sees Lena getting up and quickly ties her up with the TJS SPECIAL… 1… 2… 3NO!!! Lena kicks out!!! The crowd groans, but they don’t groan as he quickly locks her up with the TJS SPECIAL… DELUXE!!! The submission is locked in, but here comes SIOBHAN WITH EIRE RAID!!! She pulls Lena and Teddy apart, but Lena’s instincts kick in and she starts throwing wild punches at Siobhan, driving her into the corner. She locks Mahoney in a Cravate and goes for a CRAVATE CUT-NO!!! Siobhan holds onto the top rope to keep herself up, JUST FOR JD TO GRAB HER HAIR!!! He climbs up to the top turnbuckle and pulls Siobhan up with him. It looks like JD is looking for a powerbomb off the top, but LENA POPS UP WITH PALM STRIKE!!! She climbs up with Siobhan and together they start to set JD up for AN AVALANCHE AIR RAID CRASH!!! AND TJS HITS AN A-PEELING ELBOW!!! HE COVERS JD… 1… 2… 3-NO!!! SIOBHAN AND LENA BREAK IT UP!!!

Teddy, Lena, and Siobhan all get together and take JD out with a triple superkick. They throw him to the outside and go right into a circle inside the ring. Lean shoots, trying to take down Teddy, but he lands a stiff knee that rocks her. He tries to lift her, but Siobhan hits him from behind. He spins around, trying to elbow Siobhan, but Lena jumps on his back. TJS hits a snapamre, but here comes Mahoney with MORRIGAN’S CURSE!!! Siobhan and Lena go behind TJS’ back, lifting him up for a DOUBLE WHEELBARROW SUPLE- S IS FOR STUNNER!!! TJS gets the crowd hyped up, but as soon as he tries to capitalize, Lena grabs him in a cravate and starts driving knees into his gut. Teddy tries to back into the corner and shoves Lena away. Galante charges, looking for a YAKUZA KI- THAT ONE SLAM FROM BAND CAMP!!! Teddy escapes the corner now, but here comes Mahoney with a big SPRINGBOARD CROSSBO- TEDDY CATCHES HER!!! He pops her on his shoulder, looks at Lena, AND DRIVES SIOBHAN INTO LENA WITH A BLU-RAY DRIVER!!! He pulls Lena out of the corner and locks her in THE CROC LOCK!!! He’s got her trapped in the middle of the ring, and it looks like he might have the match won WHEN JD DRIFTWOOD TEARS HIS HEAD OFF WITH A PEZ DISPENSER!!! Lena screams as TJS’s hold seemingly slices her calf as he falls to the ground, but the pain isn’t over as JD picks her up and slams her with BUSCH GARDENS!!! Then JD turns his attention to a barely standing Siobhan Mahoney, who he drills into the mat with PSYCHO HOLIDAY FOR THE… 1… 2… SIOBHAN SOMEHOW KICKS OUT!!!

JD continues to manhandle the competition until Lena is able to jump onto JD’s back. The rear-naked choke starts to wear Driftwood down. He drops to a knee and that’s when Siobhan comes running up with an EIRE RAID!!! JD drops, but Lena is still up. Siobhan tries for another Eire Raid, but Lena counters with a SCORPION KICK!!! Mahoney tries to stay up, but Lena follows up with a CRAVATE CUTTER!!! Lena feels the crowd, but HERE COMES TJS WITH A SPARTAN KI-NO!!! Lena ducks it and lands a bunch of strikes. She hits the ropes and goes for a DICUS FORE- RUSHPLEX!!! Everyone is down now, and the crowd chants for their favorite wrestlers. The fans revive the wrestlers… AND THEY ALL CHARGE AT EACH OTHER!!! IT’S A BIG BRAWL!!! After all this chaos, we end up with TJS and The Hot Mess trading shots. The Reporting Wrestler eats an Eire Raid and she follows up with BLARNEY STO-COUNTER!!! Teddy shoves Siobhan and lands THE SPARTAN KICK!!! To the corner goes TJS, as he shuffles across the middle rope. Siobhan lays dazed on the mat and Teddy gets to the center for the A-PEELING ELBO- SPEAR BY DRIFTWOOD!!! He yells for the TJS 4 NEWS Crew to “Watch this Shit” and lifts Teddy for A FULL ON HEADER!!! He laughs for a second as he sets up for the pin… 1… 2… DYNAMITE STICK BY LENA!!! GALANTE HAS THIS MATCH STOLEN… 1… 2… SIOBHAN MAHONEY WITH THE SAVE!!! The two rivals trade kicks and Lena sets her up for THE SPICE RA-NO!!! Mahoney spins out and hits SHILLELAGH!!! She covers Spice for the… 1… 2… 3!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... SIOBHAN MAHONEY!!!

Siobhan Mahoney looks almost shocked as she gets to her feet. Back-to-back big multi-person match wins by Siobhan, and now she’s starting to see gold in her eyes. Siobhan tries to get the attention of the TJS 4 NEWS Crew because she wants to cut a promo calling out a champion, but they hear the clattering of a brawl as JD AND TJS ARE FIGHTING AT RINGSIDE!!! The crowd cheers for them, wanting to see them fight, but security stops them before it gets too crazy. Siobhan is still trying to get the new crew’s attention, but instead, she gets the attention of Lena Galante. Lena gets nose to nose with Siobhan and tells her that Siobhan doesn’t get to steal her win and walk away. Siobhan laughs and then literally walks away to make a point, but Lena keeps screaming out to her.

K.T. ANDERSON: SIOBHAN DID IT!!! SHE FUCKING DID IT!!! THIS IS THE GREATEST DAY!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: Everyone looked like World Champion material in this match, but it’s Siobhan Mahoney walking out with all the glory here tonight.

GEMMA MARCHAND: I just hope TJS is okay. JD has a history of attacking people he doesn’t like in the backstage area.

BACKSTAGE...
We see Brea seated in the corner backstage, with a grungy backdrop to a more demure tone than she usually has. She would briefly look up at the camera, before looking back down at the ground beneath her while seated and spoke.

BREA LOMBARDI: "You must be proud of yourself..."

She said, a bit of a disgusted tone to her voice, as Brea had lost her title thanks to Dani Davies' cash-in.

BREA LOMBARDI: "It was always going to be you, huh? Well, congratulations. You sure did it... but, you owe Callie and Lena a big thank you for doing all the actual work. Dani, we both know you couldn't beat me one on one. I will get my payback, but, I also love a bit of poetic justice, as well. Women's Summit, your's truly is entering, and going to win the damn thing and take my title back. The way it's meant to be."

Mysterious music plays as Studio Merlot fills with smoke. The lights start to go down as a single spotlight is placed on the entrance stage. Suddenly, six pallbearers come walking down to the ringside carrying a coffin. Ringhands place two stands next to the ring, and the pallbearers put the coffin on top of the stands. One of the pallbearers opens the coffin door, and then they all walk ominously to the back, waiting for the moment that they have to take that coffin to the back, this time with someone in it.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first...

"Grease Paint and Monkey Brains" by White Zombie starts to play and we see the lights dim down. After the intro we see Squiggly come out from the back sporting a pig mask with clown makeup smeared over it. A large oversized tie rests over his ring attire as he approaches the ramp. He pulls a match from behind his ear and strikes it before lighting his tie. Firecrackers begin popping as Squiggly begins to tremble, almost seizure-like. The smoke clears as Squiggly continues shaking his head, twitching, and shaking his arms as he heads toward the ring.

Squiggly comes to the edge of the ring where he ditches his tie and rolls in under the ropes. He stands up before he begins circling the ring, looking out at the crowd. He rips the mask from his face and lets out a deep belly laugh as he twitches and scratches at his bald, tattooed head.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponent...

Dona slowly walks toward the ring, her focus squarely in front of her. She tunes out the fans, her mind lingering on the match at hand. A wry grin creeps across her painted face, as she climbs up onto the apron. Dona steps through the ropes, making her way to mid-ring. The Toxic Knockout finally lets her eyes pan across the ringside area, before spitting a thick green mist skyward. Rotten cackles maniacally, and goes to her corner, to await the match’s start.

Before the bell is even rung, these two bitter rivals charge at each other. Dona’s high-paced striking is on par with Squiggly’s heavy hands. Dona drops low like she’s going for a single leg, but instead just BITES SQUIGGLY’S ANKLE!!! Squiggly reaches down and flips her up for a POWER BO-NO!!! Dona is digging into his eyes. Squiggly giggles through the pain as he runs and POWER BOMBS DONA TO THE OUTSIDE!!! Dona's legs hit the lid of the coffin, and the coffin flips onto her!!! Dona is trapped for a moment, as Squiggly taunts the crowd. He goes out to the apron and leaps off WITH A CARNY ELBOW!!! He lands right on the coffin, crushing Dona underneath it. He cackles from the pain, as he tries to flip the coffin over. He lifts it up and finally gets it over, but it took a while. Dona is starting to stir, but Squiggly grabs her by the hair. He spins her around and goes for a CHOKE SLA-NO!!! She kicks her legs, trying to stop him. Her legs kick the coffin door closed, but Squiggly just laughs and shrugs as he GOES FOR THE CHOKE SLAM AGAI-DDT FROM DONA!!! SHE SPIKED HIS HEAD RIGHT INTO THE COFFIN!!! THEY BOTH LAY OUT ON THE RINGSIDE FLOOR AS THE FANS CHEER!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: SQUIGGLY’S MAKEUP LEFT A SMILEY FACE ON THAT FUCKING COFFIN!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: WE’RE ONLY A COUPLE MINUTES INTO THIS MATCH, AND IT’S ALREADY SO BRUTAL!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: I WON’T LIE GENTLEMEN, I’M ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED FOR WHAT MIGHT COME!!!

Dona gets to her feet first and starts to stomp on Squiggly’s appendages. Squiggly tries to fight to his feet, but she’s drilling him with knees, kicks, and strikes. The Clown Prince of NVR shoves The Venomous Bitch back a bit. She comes running at him with a CHAINSAW KI- THE PUNCHLINE!!! Dona is stunned, stumbling back a bit, and Squiggly takes her down with a BIG BOOT!!! Dona tries to crawl away, but Squiggly grabs her by her top and lifts her off the ground. He positions her for THE SCRAM-NO!!! Dona somehow escapes from the back breaker and lands on her feet. She quickly dives into the ring. Squiggly tries to chase after her, but she runs up and hits a CURB STOMP!!! Squiggly backs up and Dona hits the ropes for a SUICIDE DIVE!!! Squiggly stays on his feet and Dona goes back into the ring for ANOTHER SUICIDE DIVE!!! Squiggly is down to one knee and Dona hears the crowd chant ONE MORE TIME! ONE MORE TIME! So she runs back in the ring and goes for a THIRD SUICIDE DI- SQUIGGLY POPS THE COFFIN UP!!! DONA DIVES RIGHT INTO IT!!! Squiggly quickly throws her into the coffin and CLOSES IT-WAIT!!! DONA SACRIFICES HER ANKLE AND WRIST TO KEEP THE COFFIN FROM CLOSING!!! Squiggly opens it back up, trying to slam the door shut, BUT DONA SPITS VENOMOUS MIST IN HIS FACE!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: SOMEONE NEEDS TO STEAL THAT TOXIC NIGHTMARE’S SALIVA OR GIVE HER A MUZZLE BECAUSE I’M TIRED OF THIS SPITTING GIMMICK!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: SO LONG AS IT PISSES YOU OFF, I’M OKAY WITH IT!!! SPIT DONA! SPIT!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: AM I THE ONLY ONE CONCERNED ABOUT DONA’S JOINTS??? SHE JUST CRITICALLY DAMAGED HER NECK, WRIST, AND ANKLE IN LESS THAN 2 MINUTES!!!

Squiggly tries to wear down Dona with suplexes and slams. At one point he throws Dona into the ring post and she drops right on her head. He starts to stomp on her, before dragging her by her foot to the coffin. He closes the door of the coffin and lifts her onto it, setting her up for THE TILT-A-SWIRL PILE DRIVER!!! Dona’s head dents the coffin, as Squiggly lets her collapse to the floor. He tries to open the coffin, BUT HE CAN’T!!! The dent has jammed the door shut. Squiggly goes under the ring and finds a crowbar. He attempts to open the coffin… AND HE GETS IT!!! He throws the crowbar into the crowd and then drags her over to the coffin. He picks Dona up and begins to deliver SHOULDA HAD A V-NO!!! DONA BLOCKS IT!!! The crowd goes crazy as she spins him around and delivers A PUNK PLEX INTO THE COFFIN!!! She stumbles to the apron, climbs all the way up to the top of the nearest set of turnbuckles, and LEAPS OFF WITH TOXICOSIS!!! The head but lands! She goes to close the coffin… BUT SQUIGGLY PUTS THE RUBBER CHICKEN IN THE WAY TO PREVENT IT!!! Dona looks shocked as he slowly kicks the coffin open. He starts to giggle as he turns and looks at Dona. Filled with adrenaline and desperation, Dona quickly charges at him and HITS THE CHAINSAW KICK… BUT SQUIGGLY SPITS GIGGLE JUICE TO BLIND HER AS SHE COLLIDES WITH HIM!!! Blindly, Dona tries to shut the door again… AND STILL, THE RUBBER CHICKEN STICKS ITS UGLY NECK OUT TO STOP IT!!! Frustrated, Dona leaps up, still blind, AND STOMPS THE COFFIN SHUT, DECAPITATING THE RUBBER CHICKEN IN THE PROCESS!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... DONA ROTTEN!!!

Dona lays half-blind on the coffin, trying her best to take in the win while she can. The NVR Pallbearers march down to the ringside and grab the different sides of the coffin, and raise it onto their shoulders. The fans lose it as they chant “That was awesome”. Dona, finally coming to her senses, lifts the head of the rubber chicken like it’s a trophy and celebrates with it.

GEMMA MARCHAND: DONA DID IT!!! SHE FINALLY PUT SQUIGGLY AWAY FOR GOOD!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: TWO WRESTLERS WITH A CV FILLED WITH VIOLENCE, AND BOY DID THEY DELIVER TONIGHT!!!

K.T. ANDERSON: ARE WE JUST GOING TO SIT HERE AND ALLOW DONA TO GET AWAY WITH DOUBLE HOMICIDE??? SHE DECAPITATED A CHICKEN FOR GOD’S SAKE!!!

Julianna DiMaria, who is not competing tonight (and as such, isn’t dressed to do so), is sitting on a director’s style chair with a microphone in her hands. She has plenty of things on her mind at this point and it certainly looks like she’s got so much to say. Some of the crowd is booing her, but Julianna could care less about that as she begins to express her thoughts.

JULIANNA DIMARIA: I need a spotlight on me, please!

A star-shaped spotlight hovers over her, darkening the rest of the arena.

JULIANNA DIMARIA: Now, don’t worry… this isn’t some “Mistress of Demise” darkness bullshit. I’m not going to revert to that shit. But you know what else I am not going to revert to? The Scourge. You know why? Because the Scourge is fucking DEAD, that’s why. Let me explain how this story goes. You see, I’ve been a part of NVR for what? Four years at this point? There have been ups and there have been downs. There have been frustrations that I have overcome and there have been frustrations that have remained in the way no matter what I do. I came into this company, as many of you might remember, as a fucking joke that wasn’t taken seriously. Of course, I take responsibility for that. I was the one coming in on that ‘clown shit’. But I stopped all of that. I became ‘the Scourge’.

Julianna pauses as she scoffs and lets out a bit of a smirk.

JULIANNA DIMARIA: Suddenly? Everything began to change for the better! I was winning more often! I even became the NVR Women’s Champion. Yet, something else happened… something that I didn’t expect. You people… you got behind me… and for me, that was awkward because, for basically my whole career up to that point, you people booed me. As I piled up the title defenses and made that championship mean something to the level that no champion before me had ever done, you people got behind me more and more and I, not knowing any better, decided to embrace it.

"And you know, for a while it worked."

"So, I lost the NVR Women’s Championship, but I didn’t let that stop me. The narrative always was ‘post-title reign slump’. KT Anderson was over there beginning to talk shit about me. The narrative also was ‘Julianna isn’t capable of winning the big one’. ‘Julianna always chokes when it matters the most’. I heard it for days, for weeks, for months… over and over and over with every god damned failure that I was going through and I admit that with you people behind me, I was able to keep pushing on no matter how rough things got. So, I did everything that I could do to please you people because it seemed like we were just feeding off of each other even though I had plenty of unnamed people in and out of NVR talking shit about me and how I couldn’t win the big one. Fast toward to late 2021…"

The tempo of "Journey to the Center of the Mind" would pick up gradually, as Brody makes his way to the top of the ramp and holding a kendo stick in the "This is my Boomstick!" pose, before pointing it at the crowd as he makes his way to the ring after some stagehand rolls out some red carpet for him to walk, as he enters the ring ready to make some art.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And now, the champion...

The lights fade as “I Hope You Suffer” by AFI breaks over the PA system, the entryway illuminated only by white strobes that flash in time to the drum beat. By the time Danny Havoc’s vocal begins, Adrianna Wilde is striding out through the entranceway and down the ramp; her pace is slow, and bouncy as she shakes out her arms and loosens up-her focus on the ring as she leisurely moves. By the time the chorus hits, Adri’s climbed the steps and towards the center of the apron; her lanky form climbing the middle rope, leaning back against the top as she finally leers out the crowd-a sneer on her face as she gestures towards the crowd as she sings along to the chorus. It’s only when she’s satisfied with herself that she’s waving off the fans and allowing herself to roll back over the top rope and onto her feet, where she quickly claims a corner for herself as the music fades out.

The bell rings and Adri initiates a circle around the ring. Brody is cocky off the bat and starts to close in, throwing some measured kicks to try and instigate Wilde. Adri takes one kick a bit hard and lunges at Brody, but Brody backs away as he taunts her. Adri tries to close in now, and Brody lands a few measured punches telling her to get closer every time he lands a punch. He throws one punch particularly carelessly, and Adri instantly counters into a hip toss. She starts to drill elbows into the side of his head, and he hits a snapmare to get away. Wilde shoots for a double leg, but he leapfrogs over her. Sliding to the outside, Brody thinks he’s safe outside, but Adri comes sliding out of the ring after him. She charges at him with a clothesli- COUNTER INTO THE FLASHBACK SUPLEX!!! He flexes over the champion, but his arrogance gets the better of him as Adri starts to take him down by one leg. Brody quickly tries to backtrack and escape, and is lucky enough to THROW HER INTO THE STAIRS!!! The Saint of Miami climbs up to the top rope, stalking Adri until she gets up. When she’s finally where he wants her, he leaps off with a BLOCKBUSTER!!! He quickly rolls her up and grabs Adri’s tights for the… 1… 2… 3-NO!!! ADRI GETS THE ARM UP!!!

Brody continues to frustrate the champion, hitting cocky punches and escaping every attempt she makes to take control of the match. Adri tries to mount a comeback, landing a big step-up enziguri that sends him careening into the corner. She climbs above him and delivers nine punches before doing a bit of showboating for a TENTH PUN-NO!!! Howitzer ducks beneath her legs and pulls Adrianna’s head between her legs for a PACKAGE SUPERKICK!!! Corner-assisted back suplex throws Wilde toward the center of the ring. Howitzer follows up with a DEATHKILL DRIVER!!! He covers the champion… 1… 2… ADRIANNA KICKS OUT!!! Brody can’t believe it. He heads to the nearest set of turnbuckles and climbs to the op. He motions for the end, looking for the CHINKILL- SILICON BUSTER!!! Wilde catches Howitzer with the front lungblower and now she has the momentum. She quickly mounts him and starts drilling elbows into Brody’s face. He squirms out and tries to catch Adri with the WHISKEY TANGO FOX-REALITY CHECK!!! Brody hugs the ropes and the referee separates them, but Adri comes running back at Brody… BUT BRODY DUMPS HER THROUGH THE ROPES!!! Wilde instantly gets back up and tries to get into the ro- BLOOPER HEEL!!! Adrianna is slumped over the middle rope as Brody hits his KNEE TREMBLER AND SWINGING NECKBREAKER OFF THE ROPES!!! Adrianna gets to her feet and raises her championship. She points up to the sky and thanks Tapp for a moment. As she continues to celebrate, "Icon" by Jaden Smith begins to play. Adrianna’s brothers-in-arms come down to help celebrate her title defense. They hype her up and all pose together with their gold. While they celebrate, Freddie calls for a microphone.

FREDDIE FLORENTINO: AYE, DONNIE!

Donnie looks over at his teammate with a bit of confusion.

FREDDIE FLORENTINO: Since we’re already out here. How about we just call out those culeros and GET THIS TAG TEAM MATCH STARTED NOW!?!

Donnie starts thinking about it, and Freddie continues to hype his partner up.

FREDDIE FLORENTINO: We’re already here, Adrianna is already here, the ref is already here, the fans are already here…

He pauses for the pop.

Both Kira And Sui come out from the back before they point at the ring and do a cutthroat motion. They make their way down the rampway and walk around the ring, along the way slapping hands of fans and talking to the crowd. They meet up to where the announce table is and climb on top of it where they make an "X" with their arms and rile up the crowd.

They make their way into the ring and climb up to the top turnbuckle where they do another cutthroat motion, sticking out their tongues and rolling their eyes into the back of their heads. all undertaker-like. They drop down and square up to their opponents finishing it off.

Donnie and Sui start the match off. The two purely technical wrestlers go right into a knuckle lock. Obata tries to shoot for a leg, but Prower stuffs it and goes for a back mount. A hip toss by Sui sends Donnie into the rope and now they’re trading arm drags. Nearly acrobatic in the way they try to take their opponent down, but when grappling fails, The Shooter of Sakura starts throwing forearms and now Prower has to work to keep any semblance of momentum. Donnie ducks a strike and lands a back-to-back northern lights suplex. He tags in Freddie and together they take Obata down with a DOUBLE TEAM FLOWKILLER!!! Freddie covers for a 2.5, but he keeps working on Sui, trying to wear him down. He tries to lock in a double wristlock, but Sui fights out and makes it to the ropes. Freddie does a face wash across the top rope before hitting a back suplex side slam. Headspring into a wrist clutch, and Freddie starts stomping on Sui’s face. Obata seems to be out of it, but Freddie can’t help but show off (Flow-Off?), as he wrenches the wrist again and drags him to the corner. He climbs up to the top rope and starts to walk across the ropes for POETIC ELEVATI- BUSHIDO BOMB!!! TAG TO KIRA!!! Izumi slides in and starts to drill quick strikes into the midsection of Freddie. Obata stays in the ring because together they go for AKAI AM- FREDDIE DIVES BENEATH THEIR LEGS!!! Obata and Izumi kick each other’s legs as Freddie runs to the corner for THE HOT TA- IZUMI DROPKICKS DONNIE!!! Kira turns to Freddie and starts to drill elbows into his neck. He shoves Freddie’s head between his thighs and double hooks for the KIRA DRIVER 9- BLIND TAG BY DONNIE!!! Donnie holds the tag rope and tags Freddie’s foot as Kira drills his tag team partner into the mat. Donnie slingshots onto Kira with a DOUBLE KNEE DROP!!! The knees land right on the back of Kira’s head as Donnie ties him up for a LEG HOOK BELLY-TO-BACK SUPLEX!!! Donnie takes a back mount and quickly locks in THE TAPP CLASSIC!!! Kira is dangling for dear life, but before he might tap, OBATA SAVES THE MATCH WITH A SAKURA STAMPEDE!!!

Freddie has Izumi trapped in Overflow, drilling elbows into his head, and it seems to be all over, but Kira somehow gets a foot up and into the ropes to break the hold. The Undead Prince looks like a smear on the canvas as Freddie and Donnie go for another tag and they hit WESTSIDE RIDE!!! Donnie hooks in a deep cover for the… 1… 2… KIRA KICKS OUT SOMEHOW!!! Donnie starts working on Kira’s leg, but Kira counters a Dragon Leg Whip into an Enziguri and starts to crawl to the ropes. He gets up and LEAPS FOR THE HOT TAG- NO!!! DONNIE DIVES ONTO HIS FOOT!!! Spinning and rolling, Donnie starts to lock in a heel hook, but Kira sacrifices his ankle to DIVE FOR THE TAG!!! Donnie lets go, but Obata is right on top of him with strikes. Hammerfists nearly lose STRONGHOLD the titles, but Donnie is able to grapple his way out of Obata’s assault. Sui comes running up for the DEATH BOMB- DONNIE ROLLS BENEATH THE BOOT!!! He barrels forward and DIVES FOR THE TAG!!! Freddie comes running up and delivers a series of flying forearms. Obata barely gets to his feet and tries to square up, but Freddie ducks a wild strike and throws him with a T-BONE SUPLEX INTO THE TURNBUCKLES!!! Another tag and STRONGHOLD HITS COUNT TO FUCK!!! Donnie covers for the… 1… 2… Freddie slides his legs in to give Donnie leverage for his pin… 3-NO!!! DONNIE GETS UP??? Donnie turns around and yells at Freddie. Florentino is shocked at Donnie’s reaction, and they bicker back and forth. Donnie says he doesn’t like any form of cheating, and Freddie says that Donnie didn’t care about this shit when they were winning the titles. They get into each other’s faces and Donnie shoves Freddie, causing him to accidentally fall out of the ring. Donnie tries to check on Freddie, trying to apologize, but he hears Jeff the Red scream “TAG”. He turns as Sui and Kira both hit DEATH BOMBER!!! Prower is turned inside out a Kira lifts him up for OMAE WA MOU SHINDERU!!! Kira covers for the… 1… 2… 3!!!

Kira and Sui looked shocked as the place erupts. Sui hugs Kira as they’re handed the NVR tag team championships. After nearly two years of being the underdogs in every feud they’ve ever had, and now they’re tag team champions. Freddie is going through a range of emotions as he sees Dead Pretenders celebrate in the ring. Donnie stares up at the lights, almost unable to comprehend what happened. Obata goes up the ring ramp raising his new title, but Kira dives into the crowd and celebrates with the fans.

In the ring, Freddie helps Donnie up. Prower shakes his head and almost can’t look Freddie in the eyes. Florentino tries to talk to his partner, and Donnie just explodes, saying “Just turn on me already, I know that’s what you want”. Freddie tries to reason with Donnie, but Donnie is just so beside himself that he can’t listen to reason. He blames Freddie, he blames himself, he blames Tapp. He’s just going down the list, and you can see the anger grow in Freddie’s eyes. It looks like Freddie might actually hit Donnie, but instead, he just says “Figure it out” and rolls out of the ring. K.T. Anderson is so emotionally distraught that he just sets his headset down and walks away from the commentary booth.

GEMMA MARCHAND: WE HAVE NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!! THERE IS A GOD!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: K.T. WHERE ARE YOU GOING??? IZUMI AND OBATA FINALLY DID IT!!!

It’s an oddly familiar sight as Izzy Van Doren stands backstage in front of an NVR banner. It’s aged, tattered, but Izzy looks behind her and smiles. The only thing different is that Izzy is getting booed by the NVR faithful. Izzy’s silent for a moment, soaking in the reaction. Finally, she addresses the camera.

IZZY VAN DOREN: I said not too long ago that NVR and I are linked. Nobody holds more accolades in this company than me. Some days I felt like I was untouchable here… But it seems that ever since I lost the NVR World title, I’ve been constantly falling on my face. One big loss… after loss… after loss. I look around and see the NVR fans cheer for my opponents more than me… But it’s okay because the next show is another opportunity to get back on track, right? So week after week, I picked myself back up, dusted myself off, and kept going. And now, it’s come to this. Losing that triple threat match… I knew something had to change. *I* had to change. I had to find what led Izzy Van Doren to that world title. Now, I’m not the type to just sit around and complain when things aren’t going my way. I’m more… proactive than that. See when things don’t go my way, I *make* them go my way. And some people… they don’t like that. They can’t stand that I finally said enough was enough.

Izzy’s mood shifts. She’s less upbeat and more… bitter. Jaded. It’s odd to see her in this mood. Thus, the crowd seems conflicted with Izzy.

IZZY VAN DOREN: That’s why I came out and stood toe to toe with you, Mimi. When I heard that you were taking on all challengers, I wanted to look you in the eye and challenge you myself. See it wasn’t that long ago that I was in your shoes. No one thought that I would be able to be NVR World Champion. I had every odd stacked against me. But I kept pushing and pushing and eventually, I won that title. I heard you say no one believed in you and when I looked in your eyes I saw… they were right.

The crowd boos while some chant “MI-MI SMITH! MI-MI SMITH! MI-MI SMITH!”

IZZY VAN DOREN: I don’t see that passion. I don’t see that drive, the motivation, the willingness to do anything it takes to win. You pulled a briefcase down off a pole for crying out loud. That’s why I knocked you on your ass. Not because I wanted to but because it… disgusts me that you of all people get to have this opportunity.

Izzy retches at the thought. There’s genuine malcontent in her voice as she adjusts her jacket and continues.

You weren’t holding two of the top prizes here at the same time! You didn’t go and win back to back Women’s Summits! You honestly think that you’re in the same class as me? That couldn’t be further from the truth. You simply walked in the door behind me. You’re not on my level, Meems. You couldn’t be on it on your BEST day. IZZY VAN DOREN: But hey I commend you, Mimi. Like me, you have busted your ass for an opportunity. I genuinely mean that. You’ve somehow climbed the ranks of this company… but unlike me… simply put you are not ready for the pressure that that opportunity comes with. So when you hear folks say you’re not ready for this, believe them. They’re right! Because stepping into the ring with me… THAT is a poor. life. choice.

Izzy laughs at her own joke before giving a look of “see what I did there” which causes the crowd to boo even more.

IZZY VAN DOREN: So why don’t I do you a favor, okay? Tonight when I beat you for that briefcase, you’re going to go back to your hotel room and you’re going to get the best sleep you’ve ever had. Because you can rest easy knowing that the World Title opportunity is in hands that are worthy and capable of getting the job done. Someone that deserves it.

Izzy’s all smiles, but it slowly turns into a sneer before she exits the frame leaving only the old NVR banner behind.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: Introducing first...

Her new darker theme song pumps through the PA as Izzy Van Doren slowly struts out onto the stage. She lunges at the camera, making the operator step back. She used to be greeted with chants of her name, but it's replaced with a chorus of boos. Izzy scowls at the fans in the arena. She turns her back to the camera to reveal a large, green broken heart painted on her jacket. She pivots and starts marching to the ring.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: "Introducing first/And the opponent: from Chicago, IL; she is IZZY VAAAAAAAN DOOOOREEEEEEEEN!!!”

Izzy climbs the stairs, she pauses to look out at the audience, walks out onto the apron, and stands there with her arms outstretched, soaking in the negative reaction from the audience. She pivots once again and walks back to the turnbuckle and climbs up and points her scowl at the hard cam. She hops down and stands in the center of the ring.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And their opponent...

The Game by Alyssa Reid begins to play in the arena and we see Mimi’s name flash on the screen. She darts out of the back in a pair of dark denim jeans with a loose hanging NVR shirt one size too big for her. Mimi gives the crowd a few nods and peels off the covering on her shirt that turns it from a standard NVR shirt into a “Mimi's NVR House” shirt before she walks down to the ring with her arms behind her back, skipping once she’s halfway down the ramp and ends with a perfect slide into the ring. Once she’s on her feet Mimi gives a little twirl to a pose where her feet are a shoulder's length apart and her hands flat out with a complimenting smirk to say "Come on".

Izzy tries to start the match with an explosive charge, but Mimi had the same idea. These two women tear into each other as years of shadow casting and expectations drive these two into a bitter faceoff. Trading wild strikes, Mimi starts getting momentum and her strikes get a little showier. She starts a Pick’N’Mix combo, but Izzy scouts the savate kick and drills an uppercut into the diaphragm of Mimi. Smith doubles over and IVD hits Izzy with the KICK AND SNARE!!! Mimi tries to throw some exhausted strikes, but she’s too dizzy and stumbles into a MACARIA DRIVER!!! Smith expertly rolls to the outside after getting dropped on her head, but Izzy doesn’t plan on losing her momentum. She tries to hype the crowd up, but 66% of the crowd boos and she waves them off as she hits the ropes for SUICIDAL TENDENCIES- CHA-CHIN BY MIMI!!! Both women lay out on the floor at ringside as the ring-out count starts. They slowly rise to their feet, but Izzy instantly lunges at Mimi, driving her into the ring post. Izzy goes to chop Mimi’s life away, but Smith does a standing switch and slams Izzy’s head into the ring post. Staggering away, Mimi and Izzy both go for HIGH ROUNDHOUSE KICKS!!! Steph the Ref hits the 7… 8… 9… THEY BOTH SLIDE IN LAST SECOND!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: A CONSISTENT STALEMATE HERE IN OUR HEADLINER!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: NEITHER WOMAN WANTS TO GIVE THE OTHER AN INCH!!!

Mimi has mounted Izzy and is drilling Hellbows into Izzy’s face. Izzy presses Mimi and swings her hips, getting her own mount now, and she's smashing Mimi’s head into the mat. Steph yells at Izzy to release Mimi’s hair, but instead, Izzy instead pulls Mimi to her feet and drills her with ADIOS AMI-NO!!! Mimi shoves her off and delivers SHINY TEETH NO MORE!!! Izzy goes to the ropes and Mimi charges- LOW BRIDGE!!! Mimi stumbles over the top rope and onto the apron. Mimi tries for a big punch, but Izzy thrusts her shoulder into Mimi’s gut and doubles her over. IVD grabs Mimi by the hair and sets her for a rope-assisted ADIOS AMIGOS!!! THAT’S IT!!! She covers Mimi for the… 1… 2… 3NO!!! MIMI KICKS OUT!!! Izzy doesn’t hesitate, though, she instantly locks in CORAL FANG!!! The submission is locked in. Mimi struggles and tries to break free, but Izzy adds a mandible claw, transitioning it into BLOODY FANG!!! Mimi’s trapped and fading fast. Izzy screams for Mimi to just give up and… INSTEAD SHE KICKS A LEG OUT TO THE BOTTOM ROPE!!! Izzy nearly loses it, holding the submission for a 4 count before shoving Mimi to the mat. Mimi tries to use the ropes to get to her feet, but Izzy drags her by the hair to the center of the ring. Izzy tries to set up for the SONIC REDUCE- BACK BODY DROP!!! Desperation and adrenaline fuel Mimi for a moment as she charges at the ropes for a high-impact MA PAYCHE-MACARIA DRIVER!!! IZZY COVERS FOR THE… 1… 2… MIMI KICKS OUT AGAIN!!!

Mimi rolls to the ropes and tries to pull herself up as Izzy looks out to the crowd in frustration. As Mimi stumbles to get to her feet, Izzy turns and charges her with a series fo strikes. Boxing and battering Mimi on the ropes, she does a hip toss to throw Mimi in the center of the ring. Mimi tries to stand, but she’s hit with an AXE KICK!!! She pulls Mimi up by the hair and delivers an ELBOW SMA-MIMI SHOOTS BEHIND!!! GERMAN SUPLEX!!! Izzy is shocked as Mimi locks in ROCK-A-BYE BAD- NO!!! Izzy rolls backward for the pin… 1… 2… MIMI LET’S GO!!! Mimi pops up and she delivers a MIMI-SIS OF KICK AND SNA- IZZY DUCKS IT NOW… INVERTED HEADLOCK TAKE DOWN INTO CORAL FANG II!!! Mimi lucks out by being right by the ropes before the submission could be wrenched in, so Izzy lets go. Mimi rolls to the apron and Izzy joins her. She shoves Mimi’s head between her thighs for SONIC REDUCE- FLAPJACK ONTO THE TOP ROPE!!! Mimi stumbles backward and realizes the opportunity as Izzy is hung over the top rope. Mimi climbs to the top, pretends to take a selfie ad hits a FOR MY SUPER FOLLOWERS!!! Izzy flips into the ring from the diving knee drop and Mimi goes into the nearest corner. She gets the crowd clapping and she charges for MA PAYCHECK!!! She covers and the fans count with her… 1… 2… 3!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA PINFALL... AND STILL THE OWNER OF THE NVR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OPPORTUNITY BRIEFCASE… MIMI SMITH!!!

Mimi shoves off of Izzy and gets Steph the Ref to raise her hand. The fans cheer for her as she is handed her championship opportunity briefcase. She raises it high in the air and screams that she’s ready for Nevada. The fans chant “Mimi’s ready” as Izzy sits in the corner, muttering to herself that this can’t be happening to her.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: MIMI SMITH HAS BEAT YET ANOTHER TOP NAME IN THIS COMPANY!!! IF YOU WERE EVER IN DOUBT, YOU SHOULD BE NO LONGER!!!

DURING THE BREAK...
There’s a very thoughtful expression on the lovely face of the NVR World Champion Nevada Brooks as she walks the hallways toward the gorilla position. A new night, new show and a new challenger await her in the Main Event and she moves with a grace and confidence lent to her from the success she’s fought for over her time as champion. This is a woman that worked hard to make her dreams come true, to overcome all the hurdles thrown in her way, and it shows in every movement, and every word out of her mouth. A mouth that curves into a smile before she speaks, the light thrown from the sparkles on her gear making her seem to glow.

KIRA BROOKS: Six times I’ve been called to defend this.

Her hands move to span the faceplate of her NVR World Championship belt, resting snuggly around her waist.

KIRA BROOKS: I’ve faced world beaters like Gavin Grimes, MYOJIN - both who’ve held multiple big titles in multiple companies. No one could look at the list I’ve beaten to get this and keep it and find challenge lacking, some despite themselves if they’re being honest. A murderer’s row, each one. In fact one of the hardest fought defenses was my last and mark my words that’s a lesson to never underestimate anyone when gold like this is on the line. But I… don’t do that. I learned that early, that confidence is key but it absolutely can’t hold hands with arrogance because that’s… that’s when you fall. Fail.

A pause, as she wets her lips, the gloss making them almost glow.

KIRA BROOKS: Diego Matias is confident in himself, and what he can do. That’s fine. That’s a good way to keep yourself motivated. It might be enough, to carry him through, if he was facing anyone else. Anyone but me. The thing is, Diego is driven, but he’s also entitled and prone to tantrums, and his anger is not the strength he thinks it is. It’s impressive but it’s also all I need to get him to lose focus. I’d like to think that he’s aware of it and will try to stop me, but what I see? Yet another wrestler that thinks our match is a mere formality, that it’s going to be that easy to roll up on Nevada Brooks and take what’s hers.

She shakes her head, a woeful expression on her face before that slowly melts away to leave an almost vicious focus.

KIRA BROOKS: What Diego doesn’t understand is that I need to beat him. I need to beat him so thoroughly there’s no question as to why. Don’t you get it? SHE is coming back, Diego. Izzy has put her sights on regaining this title, the one I had to chase after for a year, to get to HER. It was the most amazing night of my life, and I need this. I need to face her one more time, but this Izzy… she’s not that same one. She’s evolved, and I need to see if I can too.

She nods, firmly, and continues on her path.

KIRA BROOKS: So I’m sorry, Diego. You’re a strong, strong competitor and you have so many skills I could stand here all night and recite them. But tonight, what you are, is in my way.

#1 by Nelly plays as the colors of the Mexican flag strobe all over the arena as Diego comes out of the curtains. He does a prayer to his mentor, and waves hello at the camera to his sister Daya. Diego starts to walk down to the ring and hi-fives as many fans as he can before he slides to the ring and gives a shout-out to the man upstairs before he warms up for his opponent and acknowledges the crowd.

VALENTINA LOVELACE: And now, the champion...

As En Route To Mayhem by Apocalyptica plays, the music rolls out over the room, from the back emerges Nevada Brooks, determination in her steps as she moves down the ramp towards the ring. She pauses at the ringsteps to look out over the fans in attendance and she throws her hands up into a signal for them, a big smile on her pretty face. She pauses to wipe her boots on the apron before ducking between the ropes, lingering a bit before moving on into the ring, her expression focused and eager as she waits for the match to begin.

A show of sportsmanship and respect as Diego and Nevada shake hands. That nice moment is gone away almost instantly, as Diego instantly sweeps Brooks’ legs and tries to go for a MAGISTRAL CRADLE… 1… 2… NEVADA KICKS OUT!!! Nevada rolls to her feet and tries for SHATTER- DIEGO SIDE STEPS!!! He goes with a waistlock and runs her into the ropes for an O’CONNOR ROLL… 1… 2… NEVADA SHOVES HIM INTO THE ROPES!!! Matias springboards off and Nevada drills him with a forearm smash. Diego staggers as Nevada tries to hook his head for a VERTICAL SU- NO!!! Diego counters with UNO… DOS… TRES AMIGOS!!! Nevada rolls to the ropes as Diego hypes the crowd up. Diego rebounds off the opposite sets of ropes and charges at Nevada for a LARIA- NEVADA ROLLS BENEATH HIS ARM!!! Diego keeps running, leaping up to the top rope and springboards off the top with a MOONSAULT ONTO BROOKS!!! He covers her again for the… 1… 2… BROOKS WITH THE ARM UP AGAIN!!! Nevada struggles to her feet as Diego shoots behind and wraps her up for the ACE LARIA- NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX!!! Diego tries to kip up to his feet, but ‘Vada Brooks shoves his leg out from under him. She kips up now and drills Diego with a HURRICANRANA DRIVER!!! Nevada tries to pull him up by his hair, but he drives her to the corner. Nevada drills hammerfists into his back, but he still lifts her to the top turnbuckle. Nevada boots him away and stands up for a- DIEGO LEAPS TO THE TOP ROPE… SPANISH FLY… THEY BOTH LAND ON THEIR FEET!!! The crowd goes crazy as Nevada lifts Diego up for SNAKE EY- DIEGO SLIDES OFF THE BACK AND SHOVES HER INTO THE TURNBUCKLES!!! He spins Nevada around for the HAMMERLOCK DDT!!! HE COVERS FOR THE… 1… 2… NEVADA KICKS OUT!!!

GEMMA MARCHAND: Diego has maintained control of nearly this entire match. Nevada looks lost out there!!!

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: It’s all about adjustments. Nevada is the best at adapting mid-match, but Diego knows how to take advantage when he needs to. So Brooks better come up with something soon!!!

Diego drills chops into the chest of Nevada. His handprint is blistered onto her chest as he continues to slap the soul out of the champion. Diego hypes the crowd up as he shoves her head between his legs for CORAZON RO-NO!!! Nevada grabs his ankle and prevents the move. Diego drills elbows into Brooks’ spine, but Nevada continues to fight for control of his leg and TAKES HIM DOWN!!! She quickly spins him around for the SINGLE LEG BOSTON CRAB!!! Diego scrambles, trying to break free and crawl away, but Nevada sits back on the leg. She nearly touches his foot to the back of the head with how far she leans back, but Diego presses himself up and desperately crawls to the ropes to break the hold. Nevada targets that same leg with a series of kicks, drilling them into his knee. Diego elbows Nevada and she stumbles away. He gains some momentum as he runs towards the ropes and comes back with a BIG BO- WAIT HE FAKES IT AND GOES FOR A BACK ELBOW INSTEAD!!! Nevaad is down and Diego motions for championship gold. He goes to the corner and climbs up. He points to the sky and goes for TRIBUTE TO THE KI- KNEES UP BY THE CHAMPION!!! Quickly she goes for his legs and locks in an INDIAN DEATHLOCK!!! She presses on the leg and Diego screams. He tries to use his reach advantage to grab her hair and drill some shots into her face, but Brooks just presses the hold more. Diego is able to get to the ropes again and uses the ropes to get up. Nevada feels the crowd going and she charges at Diego with SHATTER- DIEGO SIDE STEPS AND NEVADA COLLIDES WITH THE ROPES!!! Nevada tries to get up and Diego charges for SIN AMO- HE STUMBLES!!! Brooks is able to spin out of the move, but Diego quickly recovers drilling Nevada with a stiff spinning heel kick. Diego springboards onto the top rope, but his knee buckles again and he slips off the top rope. He tries to get up, but Kira has recovered and drills him with SHATTER TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD!!! Brooks drags Diego to the center of the ring and locks in THE BADLANDS LOCK!!! Diego is trapped now, and he has no choice but to TAP OUT!!!

VALENTINA LOVELACE: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH... VIA SUBMISSION... AND STILL NVR WORLD CHAMPION… NEVADA BROOKS!!!

Nevada thanks Diego for a physical match and she gets her hand raised by Jeff the Ref. Last month, she had half the roster gunning for her, and now she has sent a message that she’s ready for every single one of them. She celebrates with the fans, walking around the ring and high-fiving everyone as she thanks them for coming out.

GEMMA MARCHAND: Nevada Brooks is the definition of a fighting champion. She perseveres like nobody else in this company, and that’s why she has stayed on top for nearly a year.

WARHEAD WILLIAMS: Couldn’t have said it better myself. So long as Nevada holds that NVR World Championship, SHE IS NVR!!!
