The secondary title in NVR, the R!ZE Championship is held by work-horses and it comes with the perk of being able to challenge the world champion after 5 defenses! However, should the champion decide this route, they will vacate the title! When the title is left without a champion, a new champion must be decided immediately, and that's where the "R!ZE Above" match comes in. A multi-person match where the ring is fitted with two cables, connected to metal structures rising from the four corners of the ring, crossing 15 feet above the middle of the ring. The goal is to climb one of the structures, shimmy across one of the cables, and claim the R!ZE championship. Due to how rare it is for the R!ZE Champion to reach their 5th successful defense, this is NVR's rarest signature match!

* A.J. Morales was not originally scheduled for the match, however, after cashing in his NVR R!ZE Opportunity Briefcase, he was added to the match and won the championship.
** Lash Donohue was banned from challenging for the World Championship at the time of his 5th Defense, so he put his Championship on the line in a R!ZE Above Match.
